I think people will downvote solely based on the subject matter (people assumed it was just mindless "cuckold" fiction, I suppose) but it might also be people legitimately not liking the fic, which is fine. Thank you so much! I always give my fics a few edits and wait until they are well incubated before releasing.

Thank you, I tried to think of what would be a different pair that would work. I don't think I've ever seen Soarin' and Mrs. Cake, so that's why I chose them.

Thanks, I am also no fan of the "spouse is into it" angle. I understand that some people hate "cheating" as a fetish, and I get it - in real life it's a pretty disgusting thing to do to your loved one. But who doesn't have a fantasy that's a little gross to other people?
Also I knew some people wouldn't like the straight up cheating angle, hence the ending (is it cheating still if your spouse is also cheating on you? Yes. It is just as bad in that case? No.)
