3 chapters in and I still don't know what to think of it. Spoilers for ch1-3
It doesn't appear to be TFTG but instead alex seems to be slightly annoyed that he still has the same gender.
It doesn't feel like it has structure, as alex seems to be wandering around without any set goals for himself or others.
He ended up running farm equipment on his second day and ended up trying to teach himself magic while doing so, it worked but there is bound to be a better way. It feels wrong that no one has either suggested "there's a school in town that can probably get you up to speed pretty quick" nor has he asked something like "is there a library around here i need a guide on how to be a unicorn"

This happens often enough that no one really seems surprised but not enough that they seem to have any sort of procedure for it.
Creature falls into our universe and is inexplicably transformed into one of the common sapient species for the area should we notify someone about this? Maybe they should register as a new citizen somewhere or something?
Does this mean there are going to be others from earth?
Candy jumps to the correct conclusion that he was worried about his nudity but in pony world this wouldn't be a conclusion she could easily jump to because it's so normalised.
He runs into a bunch of racist earth ponies, is this supposed to be set a few centuries before the show as that doesn't feel possible in the modern MLP timeline but could have easily happened a few hundred years earlier.

His stuff came with him from earth, including his photo id which did not change with him, (with the purchase of copper wire and magnets) he is currently trying to see if he can build a way to charge his electronics which came through with him but are all dead for some reason implying one of the following 1. They don't work in equestria 2. He has been out for a few days 3. The transfer process drained them. 4. He's just bad about keeping his stuff charged.

I think I was going somewhere with this at some point but it ended up turning into a note instead of a comment.

A till is something you put money into. Most shops have them.

So he was thrown out of the bar without getting his drink or food, which he had already paid for, but no-one has compensated him for it.

Also, whoever runs the bar is a piece of shit for letting a paying customer get assaulted and not even attempting to intervene.

- "A few ponies" - may include bar workers;
* + everything happened too quickly; it is not known how many employees are in the bar, and how much they are obliged / able to fight ,
therefore calling the sheriff and his deputy was the best option.
