This has the potential to be totally awesome (I would never have even thought of crossoving over these two) but so far it's a bit too much like the movie. I recommend changing things up a bit.

i wonder if the element bringers wil try and use the elements on megamind or will they be too shocked by metro mans 'death' o evehink of it
seems like another direct telling of the story with only ponies. Nothing too different and doesn't really change anything much so far beyond characters. I'd advise changing it up a little. Maybe do stuff the movie didn't do, like expand a little more on other things. maybe mare-do-well is an actual hero (I'd advise it not to be one of the mane 6 for story reasons), have the pony's deal with the disasters Metroman would normally prevent(would be an decent excuse as to why Celestia or Luna doesn't simply nuke Megamind), Have Discord play the part of the observer(he could also distract Celestia and Luna, Actually it would be pretty cool if Discord has the same idea as Metroman that Megamind could become the hero, that seems like something that would get his attention. A villain turning into a hero? sounds like quite an chaotic turn of events. and that might also play him as less of a villain and more of a 'bored reality warper'. I don't see enough story's where Discord isn't a villain, he makes a much more interesting bored kid then evil mastermind, and in a story about a villain turning hero I doubt you'd want to pass up that card.). anyway, gonna keep reading this and good luck writing.
