Tempest Shadow has aged throughout her twenty years of service to the Princess of Friendship. Now, she sails the cold northern sea to investigate a pirate. Sadly, or maybe thankfully, scouring the ice makes for a tenuous boredom only the ship's sly helmsmare can remedy.

Hm. I don't know if I'm missing something, or if this was just a bit of a strange story, feeling more like a piece of one that a full one, I think (though I am somewhat tired at the moment). I still appear to have found enough in it to upvote and Favourite, though. :)

When will Tempest get a manecut already?
That was pretty good. It was interesting piecing together when this took place and what Tempest and Brine's relationship is. Nice detail that Tempest brought up Hearth's Warming but failed to realize that was why the pirates were celebrating. Snails' presence and the fact that the crew was Apples felt odd, though.
