I feel like this could be a short that plays on Mystery Science Theater 3000 just before the main (mane?) feature, as sometimes happened when the feature was a short one. I think I can actually hear Joel and the ‘bots giving commentary.
Good fun, though! Definitely felt like it was something from the ‘60s.
