Loved the story. I always enjoy a good, slow mental corruption. Only complaint about it is that the changes lack detail.

I was a little surprised that their memories still changed entirely despite resisting and solving the riddle. This didn't feel much different from the 'failure' option. Have to agree on having mixed feelings, but hey, different strokes for different folks.

That said, the combination of physical and mental changes was very well written. While normally I'm all for having all the detail and description I can get in a physical transformation, leaving gaps was kind of the point here. In the vast majority of TF art and stories the main focus beyond the TF itself is the subject's reaction. I love (and rarely see) scenarios that are about a lack thereof. The mental changes mean they don't notice all of the physical changes as they happen, and the reader sees the progression much as they do. Nicely done!

I'm so glad you loved the TFs! Mental transformations are usually a ton more fun for me~! It's sexier to alter thoughts than bodies and even better as reality is sort of rewritten so they hesitate and go "Wait a sec" then another change hits and they can't even remember what they were just thinking. After all, to them, nothing changed~! The reader has a TOTALLY different look though, so it's super fun to play those against one another! :3
