It's actually clever word play. kst in the middle, in the beginning, and at the end. They mean the actual words I've put in red. Not that it has "kst" at the beginning middle and end. As the riddle reads it has KST in the middle: Inkstand when it says IN the beginning, it means the actual word "in" again inkstand, and you can probably figure out by now AND the end. Yep: inkstand.

From what I understand, it's a riddle from Alice and Wonderland, though I heard it in a movie about a Unicorn.
According to what I've read it doesn't actually have a 'real' answer. Though the popular answer seems to be: Edgar Allen Poe wrote on both.
I came up with the answer that both contained feathers. Referencing how back then we used feathers as a quill to hold ink and write.
Probably couldn't really use that riddle as it has no real answer.
The Sphinx probably would know the answer to this one, but my favorite riddle to ask people is:

My favorite part so far are the riddles. Still can't believe I kept getting stumped on some of those. Like seriously some of the answers were obvious and they made me facepalm.

overall i have to say i like this story very much ,though i have a few small issues with it,such as near the last 2 or 3 chapters it seemed like your were rushing because the details were becoming more and more less and you were skipping time far to often ,and lastly when they reached ponyville you showed no reactions of various pony's to the girls no one freaking out or anything it kind of makes me a bit worried about how the clop is going to turn out
I’ll be honest. This first chapter is really hard to read. It’s like every single action is robotic, forced, and ridiculous. I’m gonna try and read through to see if it gets better, but you might want to consider reworking this, it is a serious off-putter.

There are absolutely no redeeming qualities about this story, the main character is about as relatable as Peewee Herman and a the plot is about as thin as the shitty toilet paper you’d find at a gas station. I'm enjoying this. My only complaint is the the chapters are short. You could combine them and have a decent length chapter. (2k words + 2k words = sweet spot chapter length imho.)

Don't know who Gary Stu is, but TO answer your comment about the chapters, I tried to make them at least a 1,000 words each. BUt i was unable to without messing up cliffhangers.
