It was pretty clearly stated that the only thing Sunset got out of it was that Dash and Fluttershy were Tempest's parents, and that Time Travel was involved

Sunset's eyeballs just about popped out of her head and she launched herself backwards across the floor. Her back hit the wall, and she shouted the only thing she could remember.

In "A Single Pale Beanis". Right now, basically anything that wants to be canon has to go through Majin or Fuzzy. Since Phase 3 is going to be the finale, they want to really start cutting down on random plot devices otherwise there'll be too many things to keep track of.
