and kinda-sorta. At BEST, Leopard could maybe be described as Bi, but that's only due to Sombra being a part of him. Other than this though, he already HAS a marefriend, Dash, and possibly soon to be second marefriend, Spitfire. OVERALL, Leopard is straight, but he has an "Odd streak", in him, but only when it comes to Sombra.

And to asnwer the rest of your question, yes. Their relationship is explained in better detail in that chapter, so I would recommend reading it, if only to salvage the story from it. Word of warning though, it DOES contain gay-sex, hence the "EXPLICIT" warning!

Something like that, yes. The best way to describe it, would be two completely different individuals, sharing the same body. Leopard is the body, as well as one of the individuals. Sombra is the other individual. There was a constant battle for who was on top. This battle ended when Sombra was able to return to the physical world, even if only for a while, before having to return to Leopard's subconsciousness. This battle will happen again as the two begin to lock horns once again. Only one of them can be on top at any given time. And it was, and will be again, a constant battle between Leopard and Sombra for who will be in control.

Without his magic, which is contained withing his horn, Sombra will remain in this state of sometimes "Real", and sometimes a spirit again. His presence inside of Leopard's mind though is causing major malfunctions. This was hinted at when I talked about impaired judgment on his part. As long as Sombra doesn't have his magic, all can be managed. However, if he reattaches his horn, then he will return, and Leopard will almost certainly lose control.

In a nutshell, ever heard of "Inception?" It's kinda-sorta like that.

Also, I'd love to look into your stories, and I will, but I don't know if it'll be anytime soon. With college having just started, as well as my job, I'll have to be working OVERTIME just to keep up with my own writing! And here's the kicker about Leopard. He's actually Straight! As I've stated before, Rainbow Dash is his Marefriend, and he loves her dearly. In this story's sequel, he does end up marrying Rainbow Dash, but that's "Beyond the Express".

For this story though, he's still straight, except when Sombra's involved. Here, Leopard does show Bi leanings, but this is for Sombra, and Sombra ALONE!!!! This NEVER changes throughout the course of the story, and Sombra is the ONLY exception to him being Straight!

And yes, for now at least. However, Sombra's about to leave Leopard for a while. It'll be Leopard X Rainbow Dash X Spitfire, and X one more mare, who becomes Leopard's 3rd wife. I won't reveal who she is, but you'll find out for yourself in the sequel, "Beyond the Express".

Sonbra will return to Leopard, but it will be a while.

And I can see what you mean by that. LeopardXSombra was a VERY controversial move on my part. Some people enjoy it, others don't. I'm in the middle of the road; I don't know if it was a good idea or not. However, all of the "romance" between Sombra and Leopard is about to come to an end here VERY shortly. It's about run its course, so just keep reading for a little while longer, and you won't have to read about it anymore.

I'll be honest, looking back 2 years later, Leopard X Sombra is an idea that probably never should have left the drawing board, but did somehow make it to the final story. Why? Unfortunately, I can no longer fully remember why I made this decision. It had something to do with Leopard interacting with Sombra's spirit, and this later evolved into Sombra using Leopard to gain more of his lost power back, but then it escalated too far into Leopard X Sombra. HOWEVER, fret not, for this shipping does not last much longer. Sombra is about to go his own way, but his relevance to the Battleship Express Saga is not over. He will/does return in "Beyond the Express", and it's revealed that he has sinister plans for Equestria. He appears again in a minor role in "Tracks Backwards", and will have a role in the upcoming "Tale of 2 Big Boys", but never again will it reach the Leopard x Sombra shipping that this story has
