And yes, I have heard of that. It wasn't what I was thinking of when I wrote this chapter, but I suppose that it kinda makes sense. This fight was between the Caribou loyal to Danin, the insurgents under Commander Gregor, and of course, the Battleship Express. All sides were shooting at each other, and were trying to kill the other. Commander Gregor's forces were not our friends, however, they were doing most of the work for us. Our job became easier, and we were REALLY tearing the Caribou apart!

In all honesty, this is probably the most CCCRREAAZZZIIIEEESSS battle/chapter I have ever read.

And yes, this chapter was pretty crazy. A lot of people said that it was awesome, and I agree with them. I can also agree with you that this chapter was absolutely crazy, and possibly one of the craziest chapters that I've ever written!

This math has the ground forces on foot traveling a solid 62 and a half miles per hour for the entire battle. No stopping, no breaks, 100% run n' gun. These guys need an Olympic medal or three.

Well, the 250 miles bit can be explained by them not just running the whole way. Remember, they're all Human-Pony hybrids, meaning that they either have wings and can fly, have Magic and can teleport, or super-Human strength, stamina, and endurance. They could run that fast for times when it was required, while the others were a mixture of running and flying at times. And this isn't entirely clear in the Chapter, but does get mentioned later, it's NOT 250 miles in one direction, but was instead the total distance covered from Marrow to the spot 10 miles from Dock Town, which was in all directions. They traveled 250 miles in multiple directions, all while slowly moving west until they were at that spot where Leopard realized where he was outside of Rendale. A little janky I know, (and probably mathematically flawed) but it's the best explanation I got.

As for the Battleship Express racing to where they are............yeah. I'll bump that "2" up to a "3", and add in some minutes.

What followed this battle is now regarded to be one of the strangest incidents of the entire war. It was a back and forth battle that literally stretched for dozens of miles in all directions. We were shooting at the Caribou, the Caribou were shooting at us, and then Gregor's forces got in on the act, and we all shot at them. The battle raged over farmland, through city streets, over hills and valleys, and in so many places that we completely lost our bearings. The moon did occasionally peek out from the clouds to provide light, as did the fires that were caused as a result of the battle, but what we didn't realize was that we had completely lost our bearings.
