and yes, for an engine as old as our Big Boy 4009, at well over a century, counting all of the wars, and with over 3 million miles on her, she's a true warrior engine. She'll get the job done, but let's just hope that she'll be usable again after the war, and not too worn out.

Indeed. There never was a bigger engine, nor a stronger one, nor another with a 4-8-8-4 wheel configuration. Nor was there ever another engine that could pull a 5 mile long train on flat ground, or a 3 mile long train in the mountains. Every day I wish that Union Pacific could hurry up with Big Boy 4014's restoration. I know that it takes time, but THE HYPE IS REAL!!!!
