I'm laughing because its a random villain I didn't see coming.
8702074
im not a big fan of anime either i just know alot of weird and random things

Well, I didn't see it coming either, at least, not at first. The story that inspired this one, "Rails of Destruction", by "An Iowa Class Battleship", was one of my all-time favorites. However, I got tired of waiting YEARS for it to be updated!
At this same time, I was getting sick and tired of reading "Fall of Equestria" stories, as well as "Zebra Domination" stories, where the bad guys got away with their crimes. I also discovered "Futadom World". Once again, bad guys get away with their crimes. I decided to write one story to rectify all of these wrongs.
Thus, was "Battleship Express" born. Set in America in 2029, towards the end of WW6, the Futa Empire is the ruling power of what's left of Earth, with the Americans, European Coalition, and the Australians fighting against them.
However, not all Futas are villains. As you will see later, there are 2 specifically that I'm thinking of. I've already mentioned both of them in the story several times, and both of them have parts to play in the sequel, as well as the sequel to the sequel.
For more backstory on WW6, and my version of the Futa Empire, just read the story, or feel free to ask.

Yeah, and I wouldn't really even know about anime at all, if it wasn't for my brother, he's an otacu, (I think that's how you spell that!)
8702210
im more of a gamber but mostly grand strategy and not this rts bs thats far too uncomplicated and boring

oh

spoiler my bad. is me my spelling is not the best.
Lmfao. Lifes commentary was gold!
Also practice your dialogue bro. Feels kinda forced with their reactions at times.
Aaannnddd I'm done. I was forcing my way through it. The idea was good. The writing not so much, but I got over that. Then he had sex with the dog. That was just a bridge to far. After a ton of disjointed crazy ideas and appendages. Doing the doggie was just to much.

Hello funguy26,
And yeah, I guess that makes sense.
8702744
Hello ShadowLight96,
And yeah, I was planning on Life saying that for a little while now. Also, slight foreshadowing for the sequel, and what it'll be about.

Hello ShadowLight96,
And I kinda wrote this chapter a little bit poor on purpose. Remember, for the past 2 1/2 weeks, Dash was in Caribou captivity, and Leopard was moving Heaven and Earth, as well as killing anything, or anyone who got in his way, as he tried to rescue her. Now, they're finally back together. This is their first night of readjustment, hence a few strange moments, and a lot of really strange dialogue.
However, if this kind of sex is not your thing, don't worry. The next scene like this will be more romantic, (And may or may not involve Life finally getting revenge for our avoiding her finding a way!)

Hello Dodger2525,
And I'm sorry that you're just "done" with the story. Might I convince you to keep reading? I mean, after all, it only goes to Chapter 28, and then the Epilogue, and don't worry, I do plan on ending on a high-note! This story will also spawn at least 2 sequels, and will have a good ending, I promise.
Also, Leopard and his dog was a one-time thing, as Leopard himself explains to Dash later. It only happened that night. And now, all of the battle scenes are over, as is the Imperial War really. Chapter 28 will be all about the Caribou's final surrender, as well as the crew of the Battleship Express heading back to Ponyville, and what happens when they arrive back.
Then, early on in the sequel, I will explain what happens to the Caribou and Zebra POW's that we captured for trial, including Zakia, Stuggs, Rodin, Winston, Dactyl, and those other 3 sort of sex-slaves that were housed on the train with Zakia. It will also be about rebuilding after the war, as well as the "Re-population efforts".
And I know that I really can't tell you what to do, or not to do, but I would at least ask you to finish the story. Only Chapter 28, and the Epilogue remain. After that, I really don't care if you keep reading, but at least hold on for the end of this story, won't you?"

Ment the story in general bro. Just doesn't really feel right with the flow of dialogue at points. It's a good story but you still need work on dialogue.

Hello ShadowLight96,
And short answer, war does strange things to people.
Longer/better answer, this is only my 3rd story here on Fimfiction. I'm still learning as I'm going along. I also never expected this story to be the runaway hit that it's become. I was used to having a story with low views, and mixed reviews. Then, overnight, this story became a runaway hit. So, I'm still learning, and I'm getting better with each bit of constructive criticism.
For the future, I'll try to do better with the dialouge, as yeah, some things don't match up with the characters. War can do strange things, and I need to sharpen up on my dialogue writing skills.
8704681
No prob bro. And I get it. Long as you know you need to work on it that's fine, and the "they've been in war" excuse is not a valid one for shit dialogue lol. A "war" excuse would be when someone starts yelling and or losing their shit over something due to PTSD or them just breaking down and having a moment. (The line about the shit dialogue is friendly ribbing btw.)
8704737
Thanks.
And yeah, my writing should get better as time goes on.
And actually, in the sequel, there will be a number of moments where we break down with PTSD. This ranges from nightmares, to flashbacks, to jumping at every little noise, to constantly staying close to the train, waiting for orders, even though the train has been in a museum for the past 7 years! Already, in Chapter 28, the one I'm writing right now for this story, Leopard has a PTSD-induced nightmare, and really comes close to loosing it. Luckily for him though, Dash is right there to help him through it.
Finally, no offense taken, I still see it as constructive criticism!
8704751
Interesting. Just making sure, lot of butthurt people these days.
8704837
yeah, no kidding! It'll take a lot more than that to offend me though.
That was stress that have been holding for a long time, also that extra bit in there was funny as hell like they're going in for a surprise in the next cycle.

Hello GodofSalvation,
And yeah, this chapter was one of the better ones. However, come next cycle, it won't be Dash who's in for a shock, it'll be another mare. I won't say any more, only that the answer can be found in the sequel to "Battleship Express", "Beyond the Express".
So they'll never have a foal? Shame.

Hello Agni_Blizzard,
And for the answer to that question, you'll have to find out in "Beyond the Express", this story's (very underrated) sequel
