Loved it. I'm happy to see that Ayodele won't be joining the herd. She just doesn't seem like she'd fit. Still looking forward to when Ari finally meets with the princesses and, hopefully, gets some of his misconceptions about them fixed.
Also, when will Ari's mane turn ethereal?

Well, I won't say when in these comments but I can confirm it will happen. The hints will be dropping soon...In the story that is, I'm trying to keep the reveals a secret.
I'm glad to hear that, I can safely say that I am loving writing this arc.
Love the chapter but I feel kind of sad for Ayodele.
More likely he's just smart enough not to consciously give you a reason to smack him around.
So talking openly about your plans in front of your fanatically loyal, mega racist of a prisoner is a BAD idea? Imagine that...
Ari...unless that looking them in the eye thing you're doing comes with actual mind reading magic, DON'T BE A DAMN IDIOT!

D-d-d-denied! Or cuntblock.
Ship get!
Huh, I wonder who broke into the office...
What if Ari's and Chryssie's kid has an Alicorn appetite fur both food and love?
Really like this story can’t wait for the next chapter
Great chapter, can’t wait for the next ^_^
Just one thing;
Could someone help me straighten this out? Is she crying because the four would be for her family?

Consider it straightened! You were right the money with that, the four is for her family. Her aunts, mother, and father. The tears from her mixture of disbelieve/relief/happiness that was bubbling up.
Hopefully see everypony in three days, this one needs major editing.
Yus!great chapter!I check my tracking every 2 hours just to see if you've uploaded!can't wait for the next one!!!!!!!!!!
What I find amazing, is that despite the few times the story's pace was broken to switch over to Equestria, not once, has the Mane six stolen the limelight. Which is also very surprising, considering that with Ponyville being the closest settlement, it would've been one of the first few to be affected by the law's mandatory herd system. I'm not even sure if Twilight, little miss yes mare of Celestia, would follow through without conflict among her friends, conflict that can literally fuck up the country's main line of defense against evil.
Instead, the story is consistent, strictly held in foreign settings with predominantly non-equestrians as the major cast, who see Equestria outside the pink tinted lens of those within said country, except those disillusioned after experiencing the outside world. This is the kind of story I enjoy, something done outside the cookie cutter mold of basing a story with the cliches of Ponyville/Canterlot/Everfree formula. Hell, just being somewhere else in Equestria is already something worth trying to read, this story is the third or fourth I've ever seen on this site that actually goes places.
Shit I'm rambling

You know....they might've just gotten into a herd within themselves, and found one stallion that they all liked equally to...'satisfy' the law of herding. Like, Time Turner, or someone of that lark.

Missing 'were'. You're missing quite a few words in this manner—incomplete sentences like this.

But what of the times before Ari's reform ideas? It was days before his arrival and many days still till Azure brought his letter, by then, they would've been as law demanded, screened, separated and paired up with "compatible" herds. Despite any protests, they are the country's heroes, it is a double edge sword where they represent the core values of the Elements and the country, while simultaneously being under the scrutiny of society to lead by example. Would they do their part, rebel or flee until Ari's reforms came up? This is another unseen, unintentional consequence to the Princesses decisions in life.
Another reason to like this story, the world moves on, uncaring to every individual's dilemma, yet shakes because of their actions. Like how Echo still has that nail in his rope, yet he hasn't follow through with escape, the current line up of slavers are mostly dead but the countries that benefit like Saddle Arabia and those in Equestria are already stirring. And while all of this happens, the world is still tearing itself apart. Even if Ari stops them from moving the sun and moon, the thousands of years of living a geocentric solar system will take great efforts to transition to a heliocentric one, that, and the reduction of artificial weather manipulation that may affect the natural cycles that come with the change.
Eh, rambles again.

Oh....I forgot about that part. Welp...they might have disassembled herds that they were not wanting any part in. I mean, when the law was changed, it didn't say that the herding situation for a specific pony was permanent.
So here is a question for everyone here. Where is the bat?
8732623
Sorry, I realized I didn't make it apparent, edited it slightly. He didn't do it, happy guessing.
8734394 Damn it.
Echo knows something and, big surprise, he isn't saying shit.
