It's more than mere jealousy, it's Scootaloo having a sense of fellowship with Sweetie Belle with them both being ... limited. Except it turned out Sweetie Belle just hadn't gotten started yet.

Happy to think someone else thought he did a good job. This bit between Scoots and Sweetie likely wasn't intended by the writers but IMHO stands out like a sore thumb to me.
