Great story. Well-written, emotional... the total package.
So why do I have such a hard time getting behind stories where disease and infirmity comes into play? I watch the show and outside of the occasional injury, nothing ever seems permanent or life-threatening. Even if Applejack is a prime candidate for arthritis, I hate to think that a candy-colored cartoon pony would be at risk for it.
Read this with the Dead Island soundtrack and you'll be crying tears for the rest of your days.

Good! Got me right in the feels. Manly tears. All that jazz. Some of the phrasing was awkward, "dreary day sky, the blue sky", (maybe replace the second instance of "sky" with "dome", or "heavens") and "brought a bit of warmth to her heart but yet it brought more sadness to it as well", (maybe something like "inspired a bit of warmth in her heart, though it brought sadness as well.") but all in all it was very touching! Please keep writing, I'll keep reading!

The end almost got me. It was kinda like when I first watched "The Notebook". I recognized that it was very well done and very sad, but I didn't cry. Its official: "One Final Apple" is "The Notebook" of ponyfics. But seriously, well done.

When Twilight left for the orchard, I knew exactly what was going to happen.
It didn't stop me from shedding a few manly tears, though.
This is so sad, yet beautiful at the same time. It made me shed a few tears,
Two problems. One, did applejack even mention her loneliness to the others? They could've at least got her a pet. Besides this and some grammatical issues, story is good. Vury sad.
