I know it's been 7 days since I posted the first 2 chapters, so I'm going to release this now. Ch.4 is almost done (maybe) and I promise you'll never look at Lyra the same after it, honestly I think I gave Techy nightmares with it. ch.5 or 6 will give you (and me) a break from Lyra and get Matt out meeting the town and seeing ponies as well as get one of the plot arcs started.

This was the chapter that just didn't want to go my way. I had plans for this chapter that involved the introduction of one of three ponies... Needless to say it didn't happen. This chapter also took awhile because... well 60+ hour work weeks are a bitch.

I haven't been too happy with the last... well chapters 5, 6 and 7 but I've put the story arc I WANTED to tell on the back burner for one that fits better (which I wanted to save for the distant future) So 5-7 have been me trying to change without throwing everything out the window... and honestly I think it shows.
But I've just started on ch.8 and it so far looks awesome (I'm 8 lines in, if it gives me that happy feeling already I'm sure it'll turn out great)
Before anyone asks, yes ch.7 is already done except for some editing, no you'll still have to wait for it. Me and my crack (addicted) team of editors will finish it eventually. That and we're trying to alternate Memoirs and Jumper releases so... yeah, any questions? Comments? Queries... Smart remarks?

1304816 The learning curve in a new reality is a bitch. I want to try and see if I can throw references in for 1 or 2 of the other realities he's visited. I've already started on that arc for ch.8 I put an extremely vague hint in about it for ch.1 or 2 I believe, but no one commented on it.

Oh, I can believe that. I've got a story sitting around, where the main character travels to realities that are, to use, the worlds of popular games, tv shows, and movies.
Or rather, variations on them.
He can't die, but isn't indestructible or anything, just unaging and incapable of actually reaching "dead".
It sucks, because he's been around so long that he suppresses his memories in order not to feel like individual lives are just falling through his hands like fine sand.
As such, he goes and "fixes" realities to make them "better" from his perspective, or to restore them to the versions he remembers from his homeworld, which is a very close variant of this one.
This seems to be taking an interesting turn.
