Knackerman

I am the Knackerman. Most of my writing deals with horror, suspense, and tragedy. And yes, there will be gore.

Probably my 2nd favorite one from you after "Something Sweet to Bite"

7453946 Thanks! I actually had kind of the same vibe when I was writing it, though it's definitely a very different kind of creepiness to what you get with the Candy Mare.

7454309 I will say, I think the twist of who violet actually is was pretty cool and unexpected. Plus her true motives were just great, but I didn't expect things to get "sexual" per say. It was so entertaining though seeing violet flustered around her. But I'm confused about what happened to twilight. I understand she got trapped with all the clones while violet herself took twilights life, but how? Is twilights bathtub another mirror pool or something? What a twist lol.

7455835 It actually has to do with the mirror clone that killed Sunset. She was actually there to steal part of the Crystal Mirror. Sunset being there was an unexpected bonus.

After the mirror exploded, shards of the dimension warping glass were embedded inside the clone. They went with her when she was sent back to the mirror pool. This allowed her to create new dimensional portals from within the mirror pool itself in any sufficiently reflective surface, including the water in Twilight's tub.

Violet was if nothing else a very redundant planner. Her original plan was to confess her love for Twilight after revealing that she had no other choices as all the other potential 'special someponies' in her eyes had been killed. When that failed she was planning on forcing Twilight to love her through surgery. After that failed, she had set a trap to bring Twilight to her pocket dimension where she hoped to break her through the use of torture and magic.

But she always knew there was a risk to using the mirror pool clones. She needed a 'get out of jail free' card, so to speak, in case she ended up in the mirror pool herself. The shard of the crystal mirror was supposed to be in her possession, but since they were embedded in her clone instead, they had to come to an agreement to get them to cooperate in letting her out of the mirror world. That agreement was that Twilight take her place with them. It's not exactly what the original violate wanted, but it allows her to be free and gets rid of Twilight, whom she felt had broken her heart.

My stomach is churning but that is an amazing.:pinkiesick:

Well thank you, it's not like I already had nightmares about cockroaches and now I'm totally going to have one soon... but hey good story so far, I was hoping for Starlight to wake up and find out it was just a bad dream, instead it looks like this might just be the beginning of a bad day for her.

My second time reading this. I love it even more!!

It was no longer bright and enthusiastic, but low and monosyllabic.

I think you mean "monotone", not "monosyllabic".

8085915 No, I did mean monosyllabic, but the dialogue changed during the editing process to make it less choppy. Monotone is a much more suitable description now. Thanks for the advice!

Hopefully Celestia will realize what happened. Good story.

JFC this was just so..so HORRID. I ABSOLUTELY LOVED EVERY SECOND OF IT! This was a wild trip from start to finish and I must say you've impressed me thoroughly! Anywho I did NOT see that plot twist coming, I honestly thought that Rarity had been killed off and Violet had disguised herself to look like Rarity. I don't know if you were aiming for us thinking that Rarity had been replaced with Violet, only to turn out she hadn't and that Violet became Twilight instead. But you succeeded, I honestly believed Violet replaced Rarity, but you came up with an even darker and more delightful twist than I anticipated. I applaud you and hope to see more of your fantastic writings in the future.

Given how she acts at times it could be as good a guess as any

it had ended up looking as if he'd written his name as 'Sunbutt'.

Heresy. There is only one Sunbutt, Sauruman Starlight. And she does. Not. Share. Power Cake.

Have we gone into Yandere Simulator territory? It feels like it. :rainbowdetermined2:

I’d rather have a bottle in front of me.

This was really good, in many ways. Good twists, genre dodges, and assorted other creative gems stud this work.

It almost begs to have a sequel.

Especially since Starlight and Trixie still live, and Spike may yet recover. Not to mention the fact that Twilight is still a force to be reckoned with, even if she wasn’t able to act fast enough in the final moments of this story.

In the end, Moondancer and Sunset were the only two verifiable permanent casualties, and Moondancer’s death still a mystery, which could lead to more impersonation shenanigans.

I mean, if it’s done, it’s done, I’m just saying the potential is definitely there.
