After being reformed during the events of The Cutie Re-Mark, Starlight Glimmer was secretly called upon by Princess Celestia herself for an important task. Certain individuals from Our Town had adopted Starlight's philosophy and left to create a larger Equalist Party with nefarious plans for Equestria. So, for much longer than she desires, Starlight must now live as a member of the ruthless Equalist Party at the command of Princess Celestia. It is a long pair of even black roads through the darkness, on which Starlight must walk alone. Now completely spurned, scorned, and hated by Twilight Sparkle and her friends, Starlight must keep up her Equalist persona as she secretly infiltrates and foils the plans of the extreme Left-Wing Totilitarian Equalist Party.

Ah, a beautifully written story of intrigue, heart ache, and betrayal. There are a few spelling and grammatical errors, but overall this is a really good story... and now I'll have to look up "I was a communist for the FBI." Oh well. Should be a good read. Great Starlight portrayal and great concept. Though, I do hope you continue it on from here.

As one against communist ideology yet accepting equality among men I for one think this story is well written, creative, and brings to light the dangers of ideas.

I hope you write more

As wonderful a one shot as this is, this concept is begging to be continued.

Intense. And more so because it dispenses with the happy denouement I was expecting.

That was great! I would love to see a sequel to continue this story!:trollestia:

Well, this isn't all Starlight's fault. If the floor of a warehouse is covered in lighter-fluid, and the warehouse burns down: Do we blame the spark that lit the fire, or do we blame the lighter-fluid on the floor?

If Starlight's spark can light Equestria on fire, then there was probably lighter-fluid on the floor. And if Starlight hadn't lit that lighter-fluid, some other spark probably would have.

Ideas are magic proof

I’m surprised this hasn’t gotten more attention. I’d love to see more of this.
