I liked it. Please, continue.

So I'm curous, it's a bit odd to just have a 'sex' tag on it-- but nothing else, is this a slice of life? A drama? Or a adventure or romance? Because it feels like romance to me.

7273993 says guy with an OC as his picture? Lol

>>FracturedHeart I believe Twilight has books on different kinds of burn medications.

7274407 I though about it, and you're right. It may not exactly be very "romantic," but it is about two ponies meeting, and taking a liking to each other, so I added the romance tag.

Thanks for the input.

7275030 You're welcome, to be honest I'm a bit interest of what you may have in store for these two. As I have a feeling they're going to know each other as they travel along...Wouldn't that technically make this a Adventure/Romance sort since they're traveling around in uncharted areas and are developing a sort of relationship?

7275480 Sorry, nothing that grand. The stories only going to be two chapters.

It's some delicious interracial.

7275530 ha, okay sorry, just thought it was kinda ironic :twilightblush:

To call Zebrica “unexplored” would be unfair. The native Zebra, who had lived there for thousands of years, had thoroughly explored the continent and kept detailed records of their rivers, mountains, and villages. However, because Zebra’s lacked the ability of flight, their records did not include very many actual maps. And the few maps that they did have, were crude, and often inaccurate. Recognizing Zebrica’s need for skilled cartographers, Compass left his home in Equestria intent on putting his talents to good use.

+6 points for trying, -1 for not realizing that you don't need flight for topographically accurate maps and -2 for not realizing that many African civilizations were traders and explorers and thus had extremely accurate maps. And -1 for zebra's.

:raritywink:

Very nice overall, more please! But yeah, plural is zebras there, and you've got Zebra throughout; unless it's intended to be an ethnic identity like Hispanic, it should be uncapped. To put it another way, a zebra who is a Zebrican is capitalized that way, just like a pony who is an Equestrian. I also only did -2 because (a) joke and (b) a civilization with pegasi might not realize/develop the same skills that humans did during the age of exploration (though they probably developed calculus for similar if different reasons)

7305905 I'm working on it. Chapter two should be up before the end of the week.

Is there a bun in Zel's oven? If not, Compass will be back in a few days, to make sure it sticks!

You know...I'm surprise he didn't ask for her to come with him, you know...because she could help know which way is where! Or companionship? or-- something!

7273993 Um, this comment is like getting cross that there are vegetables in a garden...it's clearly marked. If you don't like OC's then don't read them and maybe change your avatar. Just a thought. :unsuresweetie:

7274799 I see Sparks117 knows humor.

7275512 So he says! But the story is now two chapters and is listed as "incomplete!"

Anyway, not bad so far, though I did spot a biological inaccuracy - the whole cum-sloshing-around-in-testicles bit. But I've gotten used to those by now so I'm just like, "Eh, let's move on." Even if I really, really want to correct that. Bleh. :twilightangry2:

7392454 Oh, I forgot to change the status. Thanks for pointing that out.

7273993 why are you here? What is the point of saying that? Good story btw

He's mapping by flying. He'll be covering a lot more ground than she could keep up with, and he'd have to stay in the air for most of it to keep a consistent image of the land.
