Hoofball Fever has always resonated in Equestria. But now, every big city in Equestria, including Ponyville, is holding a hoofball league of their own! The top two teams from each city then gather together to participate in the first ever Equestrian Champions League! It's going to be intense 5 on 5 action as ponies go out to seek glory and wealth in winning the first ever Equestria Champions League! Ponies from all across Equestria are going to partake in what will become Equestria's national past-time!
In Ponyville, Applejack calls upon her family, while Rainbow Dash recruits her friends, each having their own competitive spirit and skill that will hopefully push them all the way to victory!

This has the makings of a good story. Have a like and fav.
Two things though:
1) You stated that it was the Equestrian Intranational Hoofball Association (EIHA). However, every time after that mention, you wrote "EIFA" (as in football).
2) I'm not sure how there are enough ponies to constitute full leagues in each town. Manehattan and Fillydelphia are one thing, but Ponyville and Our Town are surely not large enough. An Equestrian Premier League would have worked better in my thinking. But I'm looking forward to what happens.

2. I'm thinking I'll gear the games more closely with futsal than with football. That's why there's only going to be 5 players per team. Ponyville and Our Town could mash together and I've thought about adding another city in Los Pegasus or Vanhoover. I was also planning around 8 teams per city, with the top 2 (with exception of Ponyville, for top 4?) teams heading onward to the Champions League for a total of 16 teams.
Believe it or not, I was thinking about what teams could be made in Ponyville. Didn't think that Fluttershy would get into this, but I can see it. Would call for team made of Background Six (Lyra, Bon Bon, Vinyl, Octavia and Derpy) unless Fluttershy convinces Dash to have Derpy join their team, but I think Dash will round out with Flitter and Cloudchaser. Or imagine if Pinkie turns down AJ because she's getting her sisters together for a team. Maud would be a wicked keeper.
