I cant help but think of the Three Days Grace song looking at the title.
Sorry, but the way Twilight left, and her argument when she was looking for Rarity just doesn't make me want to root for them to get back together. Maybe if Twilight took some time to sort out her priorities, maybe if there had been a more solid motive for the "PRINCESS OF FRIENDSHIP" to not even make contact with the mare after 2 years, I'd buy it. But as it stands, this Twilight doesn't even try to fit into her own character believably beyond a few token similarities.
That said the premise and writing are good, my primary issue is characterization and the plot's rushed conclusion leaving no chance for growth or at least some kind of progress to make Twilight's reunion with Rarity deserved.

6302379 the only glaring issue really is the lack of motivation for Twilight to leave alone in the first place.
Was she leaving Rarity so Rarity wouldn't have to move? Was Celestia pressuring her to not date a mortal? Was Twilight worrying about, dating a mortal, Not being good enough for Rarity, Rarity only dating her because she is a princess?
Without a real reason for leaving her there's less of a reason to get back together.
I have to leave tomorrow, and I have to do this alone.
No offense to Twilight (this seems somewhat in character), but why the heck would she have to go to Canterlot alone. She never once had the idea of asking Rarity if she could come with her? Ugh, I swear Twilight's reasoning is harder to understand after season 3 canon.
