Don't mind me, I'm just sitting here and working on stories with a religious fervor.

My favorite dinosaur is the Allosaurus, which, I admit, was because of Dino Crisis 2. In the game, the Allosaurus acted like the occasional mini-boss and what attracted me to the dinosaur was that it wasn't as big as the T. Rex, but it would sometimes hunt in pairs or in small groups and could jump around a lot. So it was like the half-way point between the larger T. Rex and the pack-hunting Velociraptors, which I thought was pretty awesome.

Ankylosaurus and Pachycephalosaurus are a close second and third.

They changed all the damn names since I was a kid. I had them all memorized back then. I like the Triceratops and the ankylosaurus.

Also, Calvin and Hobbes FTW.

Umm... As a species name, rex shouldn't be capitalized.

Anyways, I guess I've always have a bit of a soft spot for Ankylosaurus magniventris.

Yes, I do want to get my Master's in paleontology. How could you guess?

Nice story, I wasn't expecting that ending :moustache::trollestia: and favorite dinosaur? That's easy, the Brachiosaurus.

Maybe I shouldn't have bothered with the subtlety and just used this as the cover image.

Most of my favourite ones aren't *technically* dinosaurs xD
Dimetrodon (a creature that predates dinosaurs by about 40 million years, but often mistaken for a dinosaur), Plesiosaurus (a marine reptile), Megalodon(a prehistoric shark). Ancient yes. Dinosaurs, no.
I guess I'd have to go with either the Deinonychus or Velociraptor.

Ah, as a fan of Spaceman Spiff, I see what you did there.

great fic bit Jurassic world is a amazing movie the ending dinosaur vs dinosaur was amazing.

Aku

Utahraptor

I'm aware that Rex shouldn't be capitalized, but you have to admit, if there was any name that deserved to be capitalized all the time and every time, it's the motherf***ing Tyrannosaurus Rex!

As Robert T. Baker said once, "That name is too awesome and irresistible to the tongue to not be capitalized all the time."

...I may be exaggerating that quote a bit.

Very entertaining.

That's alright. I say dinosaur, but let's be honest here, what anyone really means when they say dinosaur is any animal that existed relatively before the Ice Age and that isn't a mammal.

That was humorous :rainbowlaugh:

Favourite dinosaur? Well, I will have hard time choosing between Tyrannosaurus Rex and Velociraptor, so i choose both :trollestia:

Expertly maneuvering his teeth between the equine's skull,

Ya got those two backwards there chief.
Nature always finds a way... to put the teeth on the outside of what they are chewing.
What can't take an error point out? What are ya? A big dumb turkey?

Velociraptor because they look awesome, and can open doors. Plus, I like their parts in Jurassic Park (the first one, not the movie that recently came out). If I had one, and it was tamed, I would call it Velocity just because I could.

You make an exquisite point, sir.

Anyway, T. Rex is the best dinosaur.

My favorite dinosaur?

Uh...

Huh.

Wow, my childhood was filled with these things. How could I even choose-

Liopleurodon.

This guy literally ate anything he could find. Even Megalodons.

And if they got desperate, they could breach near a shoreline and drag a dinosaur that they saw fit back down into the ocean depths with them.

hrm....
Brachiosaurus used to be my fave sauropod growing up but after the JP Chaos Effect toyline came out i found out about Amalgasaurus (probably spelling it wrong) it's just so bad ass looking with it's sails and spines.

as far as carnivorus dinosaurs. I like the Utahraptors from Jurassic Park, I love the ones from the first film but the males from the second have such a wild design. but the Alpha Raptor from chaos effect just looks so cool and scary . i even made a costume of one...though i might have made it a little too scary...the eyes seem to follow me around the house.

Ahh, the Calvin and Hobbes reference.
That was wonderful.

I think I'm going to pretend that this is part of the Tutelary Spirit universe.

Hmm... Deinonychus and Quetzalcoatlus... both from some dinosaur book I had probably thirty years ago. A quick hunter and a massive flyer, they both appealed to me for whatever reason. I'm not really a huge dinosaur fan anymore, but they're a source of nostalgia... as is a Calvin and Hobbes reference. T-Rexs in F-14s!
