The overall plot sounds good, the game of choice...not so much. Sorry, the game was straight up HORRIBLE. In fact, I feel as though it was never finished.

563404 well, the idea of using MvC3 as a starting point, is just that. i just wanted to make a fic for each of these individual characters. Then it got me thinking. why make a different fic for all of them if I can make one involving the three. Since there are already lots of Deadpool/Zero/Dante in Equestria fics, I didn't want to join in the same way.
The only way that this fic resembles MvC3 will be the use of the techniques, and some references. To be honest it will be more like a DMC/MMX/DP mashup fic

563542 i know right? I actually was going to add Taskmaster instead of Dante, since my MvC3 team is Zero/Taskmaster/Deadpool. But I didn't knew much about him, and since i just finished the DMC Collection for Xbox, I thought "what the heck? I'll go with Dante instead of Taskmaster"
Also as a fun fact the only stories published of Zero being in Equestria i've found so far are Megaman Zero ones, and since Zero from MMX has a totally different personality from the MMZ one, i was encouraged to use him instead, i like MMX Zero more.
About the Arthur/ Rocket Raccoon thing, it is true that Arthur and RR need more love, but I just can't deal with Firebrand being a bad guy (I love the Devil Crest videogames, and yes you use Firebrand in those). and i know next to nothing about RR.
563594 Well, Firebrand is more of a "Common Enemy" In reality, Dark Astaroth would be the main villain everybody should be looking at...so...why is it a furry imp get's in MVC3 again?
Not that I HATE Firebrand...it's just He's the first enemy you see in the game. That would be if Shigeru said "Oh you know the Goombas? First thing in the game you see? Yep. They're the enemy everybody's gonna remember the most.....FIVE STAR! A+! FOUR STAR!"
563632 lol Firebrand is not the first enemy in Ghost n' Goblins, that's a Red Arreemer (however that is spelled). Firebrand is the strongest of all the Red Arreemer (again idk the spelling) who managed to get his claws with all the elemental gemstones of the Demonworld, making him one of the strongest demons in the realm.
And well... Astaroth doesn't has any kind of charisma, at least Firebrand does even if all he says is kyahahaha.

565093 try to play at least Megaman X on an emulator, since it is an old SNES game. It's pretty good. normally i'm against that kind of things, but scince the only other way to play that game is by getting a copy of Megaman X Collection either for the Gamecube, or the PS2. i think getting it as a rom is your best option.

Out of three Zero is by far the oddest one out, hes small yet wide, large head compated to the others, hes a robot with spandex, in other descriptions, he just doesnt fit. You could have put Chris or Wesker or someone else like Morrigan, but Zero? Its not like he had something special to add to the party, Dante and Deadpool could easily do what he does and better as well.
565201 when i first started, my lineup was Zero, Deadpool, and Amaterasu/Vewtiful Joe. but as soon as I unlocked Taskmaster I decided i had to learn to play with him, and since then he replaced the third spot in my lineup.
up until the recent days when i got DMC Collection I decided to try to learn how to play with Dante ( although I still kinda suck with him.)
565335 have you ever played the Megaman X games? Zero has high speed mobility, he isn't fit to a programing like Sentinel, he can think and evolve let alone making his own desicions. He is also a weaponmaster more skilled even than Deadpool, as he defeats his enemies he can make their abilities their own, he can calculate the outcome of a match, and by analyzing the movements of his enemies he can predict a pattern. Also by the Saber he posseses, indicates that is pre MMX6 in which case if he unlocks the power of the Zero virus he could become more powerful than Dante, he also has his Black Zero Armor, that greatly increases his overall abilities, only causing him to suffer a minor penalty on his defense stats, he also had the uncanonized Absolute Zero mode (present in MegamanX Command Mission), which causes him to become even stronger than the Black Zero armor mode, and doesn't penalizes his defense, he can in fact move so fast, that he dissapears from the screen in between hits. and by being a Reploid created by Dr. Wily he=is armor has a compound made of Bassnium, the same material that Wily used to create Bass (rival of the original Megaman). that compound is much more durable than steel, and could even withstand the damage of the Space colony Eurasia falling along with him towards the Earth.
also.... wtf is wrong with you... Wesker in equestria? That's the less likely outcome anyone would like, and why would to anti heroes aligned with good want with him? Don't you want to throw nemesis into the mix, and make him pet Rainbow Dash, while he infects Diamond Tiara using his tentacles? Even Chris could appear, if not by the fact that he is just a normal human on steroids.... I don't have anything against RE series, in fact I like them. But please get your ducks in a row before you make a statement, Zero is more powerful than the other characters in many ways, he also has his flaws, but I mean c'mon, he got me into hardcore gaming, has been my idol since I was 4 years old, and thanks to him I discovered the passion I have for robotics. Its just the numerous moves with him, just takes time to get use to him. Take him through Campaign and training as many times as you need.
Taskmaster is okay but people over depend on his Aim master move instead of mixing and matching with his Sword Master or Aegis Counter, so they turn him into a spammer.
565791 Taskmaster is my secret weapon against Hulk- chargers, since thy just charge at you and do the backwards u special in which hulk jumps and drops a meteor against you, that can be easily countered by the aegis counter hypercombo, and if i have enough energy, i can finish of using either Genmu Zero, Cuttin Time, or Happy Happy Trigger. I've even used 4th wall crisis against them!!! and if you know how to combo with Taskmaster he can dish off lots of the enemy hp in no time.
