Marvel vs Capcom 3 Crossover featuring Zero, Dante and Deadpool. as well as the Mane 6
After a long Battle against Galactus. Dante, Deadpool, and Zero part ways to their own worlds. But destiny will band them again to fight against some old foes who threaten the land of Equestria.
Soon after disbanding the Deadpool corps and returning from space, Deadpool was involved in the fight between the two worlds. He encounterd Dante in a bar inside a hotel, the two of them just grinned at each other as their battle started. The battle raged on, both fighters kept close on each other toes but never managed to inflict some real damage on each other. Their battle was interrupted as Morrigan Aensland's tentacle like attack hit Deadpool from behind in between his buttocks, making him launch an exasperated swear that started with the letter F. Dante and Deadpool eventually put away their differences to fight alongside each other.
Dante
Real name: Dante Sparda
Occupation: Devil hunter
After defeating Vergil and securing Force Edge, the sword wielded by Sparda, Dante rebuilt his shop with the help of Lady, after some months working and earning a name in the streets, Dante was sucked into a portal and thrown into the battle between the two worlds, after having made his alliance with Deadpool they both joined with some other heroes and learned about the cosmic being known as Galactus, who was threatening to destroy both worlds, Dante dubbed him as the biggest pimp he had ever seen. Shortly after they found Zero fighting against the Sentinels.
Zero
Occupation: Maverick hunter
Ever since he, Axl and Megaman X defeated Sigma and Lumine, they devoted themselves to create a safe heaven for the humans called Neo Arcadia. Soon there after, Zero dissapeared to a conflict in which he met Ryu, Chun Li, Morrigan, and Vewtiful Joe in between other heroes. He fought against a being called Yami and was thrown by it back to his dimmension after its defeat. Zero continued to act as a Maverick hunter afterwards and after two months was thrown back again against a conflict not of his own. He arrived near a primitive looking building, and as soon as he had arrived his sensors detected maverick like readings, instead of asking where he was, he jumped directly into action. By tracking the readings, he found a mutant being harrased by a group of Sentinels. Without hesitation he jumped in between the mutant and the group of robots, he easily disposed of the first one, but as the battle continued the others proved to be a little more difficult to defeat, that was until Dante and Deadpool stepped up to help the red reploid, after a quick battle and some explanations about who they were and what was happening Dante, Deadpool and Zero joined forces to stop the galactic being.
2.- Inter-dimensional villians:
Ajax
Real name: Francis (last names unknown)
Also known as the A-man. He used to be a long time government operative, that underwent cybernetic enhancement by Doctor Killebrew in Canada's Weapon X program. He used to work in a place called the Workshop, it was a facility in which Dr. Killebrew would make sadistic experiments on the people rejected from the Weapon X program. Deadpool used to be one of those inmates, and he built enough courage as to start calling Ajax all kind of names to make fun of him, all of the Weapon X rejects started to laugh with Wade, undermining his authority. It all scaled up until Ajax performed a lobotomy on one of Wade´s friends, forcing him to end the vegetative life of his friend. Since killing was aggainst the rules on the facility, Wade was sent to get his heart ripped from his chest, his thirst for vengeance activated his healing factor making him insane in the progress as he killed every guard and freed every prisoner. Ajax survived, and undergone further cybernetic enhancements, after some years he started his hunt, tracking down all the people that had escaped from the Workshop until he found his target: Deadpool. After a brutal fight that took Killebrew´s life, who died buying time for Deadpool to escape as an act of redemption for his past sins, Deadpool managed to choke Ajax and left the scene as fast as he could. Unknown to him was the fact that Ajax´s body was recovered by Thanos, who had a deep despise against Deadpool, and was brought back to life.
Vergil
Real Name: Vergil Sparda.
He is the oldest of the Sparda twins, and unlike his brother he is cold, reserved and calculator. He had always had some rivalry against Dante,rivalry which only increased after the death of their mother, and in some cases almost took one of their lives. Vergil, as opposed to Dante, has always respected the dark world from which his father came. He also feels he's more devil than person. He wields the powerful shadow blade Yamato, given to him by his father. He had always searched for his father´s last legacy, the Force Edge, and with the help of Arkham, a human who possessed demonic knowledge and power, was able to do so. He was betrayed by Arkham at the very last moment, as he took the sword for himself. In a moment of mutual consent, Vergil and Dante fought together to stop Arkham. after they succeeded, they were sucked into the devil realm in which they fought over to obtain Force Edge, Dante was victorious and Vergil threw himself into the depths of the devil realm in order to make his brother escape before the portal back to the human world closed. He dwelled in the devil realm for quite a while, fighting against all the enemies that stood before him, only taking time to rest and eat whenever he was completely sure he wasn´t being watched.
Sigma
Sigma was the former leader of the Maverick Hunters, he went maverick after finding out that Megaman X´s kindness held the key to the evolution of the reploids. He had already been stopped many times before by the Maverick Hunters X and Zero, and for long had been wanting to enact revenge on them. He once found a hidden lab as he traveled in his virus form, inside this abandoned lab he found a computer that still worked, but inside that same computer he found data regarding one of the best scientists that had ever lived, Dr. Albert Wily. The computer file turned out to be a copy of his mind that still lived and still devoted itself to world domination, striking a deal with Wily himself, Sigma learned all about his last creation, Zero. Wily built a new body for Sigma in order for him to destroy Megaman X and take revenge on all the humans. Sigma had since then used all his resources to try and defeat both Zero and X but has failed in every attempt, although he has managed to leave them both out of commission for a long time due to the severity of their injuries. On the last of his plans, he used the DNA that all the new generation reploids possessed to make them rise against the humans, and built his own nation on the moon. He was stopped by the Maverick Hunters X, Zero and the newest member Axl, and before he could do anything to protect himself he was betrayed by Lumine, the leader of the new generation reploids, and had to use his virus form to escape to the last spare body he had, a simple new generation reploid that possessed all of the DNA data of his previous bodies.

Real names: Twilight Sparkle, Rarity, Applejack, Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash.
Hey Deadpool here interrupting our dear author, but I think you should know almost as much as him, or even much more about the main cast. Don´t even think that you know more than me or I´ll force you to eat your own toes WITH your ears. Well then see ya internetz. (And buy my game or things´ll get nasty)
Princess Celestia
Real Name: Celestia.
Occupation: Co-ruler of Equestria.
Even after the banishment of her sister to the moon, things were still dangerous in most part of Equestria. Back then, Celestia was a fighting princess, leading campaigns against forces of evil, like the changelings and the last of the draconequus (only living example is the strongest of them all and spirit of disharmony, Discord. Who is now trapped in stone.) She fought during a long time to ensure that the land where her subjects lived remained safe, however, she couldn´t vanquish each and single one of the beasts that inhabited Equestria without gravely affecting the ecosistem, so she decided to designate areas called everfree for them to roam free of persecution. Although, some threats were toa powerful for her to beat alone, so she was forced to banish them to the Tartarus, then designated the hellhound Cerberus as its protector. She perceived the arrival of Vergil, Ajax and Sigma, and summoned the Elements of Harmony to use her last remaining binds to them to seal the threat that had appeared on her land, encasing them on a crystal prison. She was the one in charge of bringing Deadpool to Equestria.
Princess Luna
Real name: Luna
Occupation: Co-ruler of Equestria.
After having been cleansed from her evil powers by the new bearers of the Elements of Harmony, Luna has dedicated herself to adapt to the new lifestyle all pony kind enjoy, most of the times unable to do so as she remembers all the hardships most of the ponies lived by back then. She still believes herself to be a fighting princess and is willing to do so to protect her loved subjects. Her weapon of choice is an azure long sword that features her cutie mark at the center of the hilt, called New Moon. She had the responsibility of bringing Zero to Equestria.
Shining Armor
Real Name: Shining Armor Sparkle
Occupation: Commander of the unicorn division of the Equestrian Army.
After defeating Chrysalis during his own wedding fiasco, Shining Armor was promoted for his valiant efforts to: Commander of the unicorn division. He accepted his promotion on the condition that he was allowed to go on his honey moon first. Just like his sister, he worries for all his friends, family and all of the land he lives in. He and Siegfried (leader of the Dawn Warriors) have always sparred against each other and have always called themselves brothers in arms. His weapon is a golden long sword, enchanted to make the blade capable of cutting stones with a single slash.
4.- Equestrian Villains. Queen Chrysalis
Real name: Chrysalis
Occupation: Ruler of the changelings.
The queen of the changelings, ruler of the hive. Her childhood was not an easy one, since she had to constantly test herself to prove she was fit to rule The Hive, leaving scars on her. the first attempt recorded of the changelings attacking Canterlot was was an utter failure that took the previous queen's life. Chrysalis didn't mourn the loss of her mother on that day, after all she had been taught that way. But she did promised to herself to have her revenge on Celestia, and started to develop her next move to conquer Equestria. Many years after Chrysalis became queen, she overheard about the marriage of certain captain of the guard and a princess that just happened to be Celestia's niece. She started to send small infiltrator teams to the city of Canterlot, to collect information, it was just a matter of days before she knew exactly where Cadance was going to be and when. She successfully captured her and took her role as the wife to be. Her plans were thwarted by Twilight Sparkle, who freed Cadance exposing Chrysalis, and using the power of the love they shared, Shining Armor and Cadance defeated the changeling queen who swore to get her revenge as she was blasted away. She had overheard Celestia, when she was taking Cadance's place, telling Luna about the cave where she had incarcerated the three villains. A demonic smile appeared on her features as she plotted her next plan.
A/N: I will continue to add more characters as the story progress, I decided to start with the main cast of my work, and soon enough I´ll add more data regarding the characters that had already appeared, please leave me your thoughts on this and if you have any suggestion regarding any info I should add or have missed feel free to tell me, thank you all for waiting patiently for the next chapter.
“Why do you laugh in the face of your own destruction?” echoed the cosmic voice of the devourer of planets, gazing down towards three small red figures. The first one wore a white helmet with red spikes, and a blue gem above his eyes, with a long blonde ponytail, and clad in armor. The second had white hair, and was walking in a relaxed nature letting his red coat flow with the air. The last one was wearing a red and black Spandex suit and mask, he was sitting on the ground reading a comic labeled ‘Deadpool: Merc with a Mouth’.
“I am the meat.” Answered the third in between laughs, showing his companions as well as to the cosmic being a page of the comic showing himself clad in a handmade pork meat armor.
“I’ve met lots of weird people all along my career, but he gets the prize, what about you Zero?” conceded the second one with a smirk on his face, and a building fire reflected on his eyes.
“Let’s save the chit chat for later Dante.” Answered Zero taking a grip on his trusty Z-Saber. “Deadpool, stop fooling around.”
Deadpool stored the comic away as he got up saying “Who was I supposed to kill again?” he then sprung up in a jump yelling. “Well, it doesn’t matter.”
Dante played with his trusty dual guns “Ebony and Ivory” and as he finished he pointed at Galactus saying “Yo’ big pimp. It’s ShowTime”
“Let’s get this over with.” Exclaimed Zero as he took the lead on the attack.
“I’ll show you the true power of Galactus” exclaimed the cosmic being as he summoned three of his heralds, who took the form of Doctor Doom, Wesker, and Akuma. Galactus then retreated to consume the Earth’s life-force.
“Let’s split up. Dante you take Akuma, Deadpool you got Wesker, I’ll take care of Doom” commanded Zero earning eager nods from his two companions.
Doom fired his Plasma Beam towards Zero, but Zero dodged by jumping the beam, and used the Raikouzen technique to form a lightning chain as he appeared behind Doom causing the herald to take some damage, Zero then proceeded to perform a three hit combo before launching Doom to the air and performing a somersault slash technique before using his Sentsuizan to send the herald crashing to the ground, as Doom’s body bounced on the ground Zero transformed his left arm into his Z-Buster and hold it high charging it, then as he proceeded to plunge it into the ground he yelled “Rekouha!” and a pillar of light descended from the sky obliterating the Doctor Doom shaped herald completely. As the pillar of light fell, Zero gave his traditional victory pose, by giving his back to the fallen enemy, and said "Target destroyed."
Meanwhile Deadpool was taunting Wesker as he used his belt to teleport just as Wesker was about to hit him, after a couple times Deadpool changed his tactic letting Wesker come near enough for him to stab Wesker’s feet with his katanas, making them pierce both the heralds feet and the ground. As the herald tried to break free, Deadpool teleported to wesker's backside and unleashed his Happy Happy Trigger on him while chanting gleefully to the rhythm as he shot “bang bang bang bang bang.” Wesker’s corpse fell still, covered in bullet holes. Deadpool then picked up his Katanas and sheathed them exclaiming "Man, that was so easy AND not thanks to you Player."
Dante decided to set games aside for a change and activated his Devil trigger mode, Akuma seeing his window of action as Dante finished his transformation, unleashed his Gossatsu no Hado Agyo, the purple beam of dark energy covering Dante completely, but as the attack ended he found that there was no trace of Dante and then felt the pain as Rebellion pierced through his chest and the demonic distorted voice of Dante echoed through the herald “Tch, too slow.”Dante took out his trusty devil arm out of the herald’s chest by splitting Akuma in half.
Galactus felt his three heralds defeat, and appeared before the three heroes. “I will squash you like the bugs that you are.”
“Hey” exclaimed Deadpool towards Galactus, gaining the attention of the cosmic god. “Yeah you, you think we will let you destroy the Earth? I prefer letting the Player getting raped in jail than losing all the gorgeous women down there.” That earned a chuckle from both Dante and Zero. “No offense Player.”
“Well, time to get started” stated Dante as he activated his Devil trigger once more.
“It’ll be over in a nanosecond” stated Zero as he activated his Sougenmou technique while he charged up his Z-Buster.
And so the Battle to save Earth began.
Meanwhile concealed on the darkness of space two sisters watched the battle unfold. “Dearest sister, why did thou brought us to watch this?” asked the youngest one. "Because Luna, if they succeed, we may need to call upon them to protect our land someday."
The fight against Galactus raged on, and the three fighters were getting tired. Galactus then concentrated all his cosmic energy into his fist as he raised it on top of his head.
The three warriors decided to give it their all and the three yelled in unison “X-Factor!” The three started glowing in a red aura, and not wasting any time Zero used Sougenmou, and unleashed a barrage of hadangekis using his after image as support. Dante and Deadpool used their Million Dollars, and Happy Happy Trigger unleashing a bullet hell. Galactus surprisingly didn’t flinch at their attacks, as he continued to charge his attack, but as Dante released his final shot while he yelled “Jackpot!” Zero ran towards Galactus and using the remaining energy he had to spare he exclaimed as he jumped “we are not done yet! Genmu Zero!” with that he made a quick move with his sword creating a huge shockwave that stopped Galactus attack, giving Deadpool enough time to recharge his guns with his last two clips and emptied them all on the cosmic god’s face.
“How can this be!” yelled Galactus as he fell. The three warriors succeeded in defeating Galactus and saving the planet, and as promised along with the other warriors that were taken away from their original worlds were taken back home.
Deadpool gave his good byes to his two newfound friends as they were taken by Doctor Strange and Silver Surfer back to their dimensions.
“You did well, bub.” Acknowledged Wolverine, giving him a pat on the shoulder. “Hey what’s up with you Wolvie? Next thing I know is that you are going to put on a dress and ask me out.” Answered Deadpool in a mocking tone. “No offense but I do not like hairy women.” “Humf. Say what you will Wade, but you know you are going to miss them.” Answered Wolverine not losing his cool. “Want a smoke?” “No thanks, I got cancer.” answered Deadpool earning a laugh from both himself and Wolverine. It was weird though, he and Logan had never been able to sustain a civilized conversation for so long, without any of them stabbing the other. Deadpool looked at his watch and then in a hurried tone said. “Well, sweetie I gotta go, don’t expect me to return your call.”
Not waiting for an answer from Logan, Deadpool teleported away to his good ol’ apartment. He took of his spandex suit, heated a hot pocket in the micro wave, and turned on his TV “well there’s only one thing to do when you are sad. Watch ponies.”
Meanwhile, in Equestria. In a dark cave stood three figures all three encased in a magic crystal. The first one was a young man in a blue coat; the second was an older man his face all burnt up, clad in a metal armor. And the third a tall looking man, clad in cape sporting green chest armor with a red gem on the left side of his chest, and brown metal boots, he was completely bald and had a red gem on the center of his forehead, as well as two purple scars over his eyes. “Your highness. We finally found the threat that princess Celestia sealed long ago.” Declared a black horse like drone with green eyes.
“Perfect, just perfect. In no time we will free them and make all of Equestria plunge into chaos, and at last I’ll have my revenge on that silly princess Cadance and her husband Shining Armor. Muahahahaha.” Laughed Chrysalis, the queen of the changelings.

Earth616- New Jersey
“Dear Princess Celestia: today I learned that I really miss my old pals, Skippy and Zero.” Said Deadpool with a bored expression visible only under his mask, as an episode of My little Pony ended. I know what will make you feel better. “Oh yeah? and what is that?” asked Deadpool to himself. Chimi-chimichangas!! Replied the second voice inside his head. With a newfound happiness he stood up, turned the TV off, and grabbed his suit and his image inducer. And just to make people uneasy he transformed into an albino Afro-American midget, with Asian face features. And strolled off to his favorite chimichanga restaurant, earning several reactions from different people.
C’mon man. Cheer up. Who needs them, when you have us? Echoed the first voice within his head. Yeah, they are gone. You only have us… and chimichangas, delicious chimichangas. Oh and hot pockets… Deadpool did his best to ignore the second voice as it wandered off saying the different types of food he liked.
“You guys again? I thought I got rid of you. Maybe I should stick an arrow to my brain, like Bullseye did to me that time, that way I could say ‘I used to be normal, but then I took an arrow to the brain’” he stopped to think on his own joke earning an answer from the second voice. Man, that joke is so old and re-used; also it wasn’t fun for any of us, especially me. “Oh yeah! You went all herp derp that time! Maybe I SHOULD do it again to see if I can get rid of you.” Deadpool laughed at the idea.
After eating his chimichangas, Deadpool decided to take his secret shortcut. He crossed through an abandoned alley, nothing spectacular, just some old trashcans, some stray cats, the delicious aroma of human wastes and decadence, and a ‘Portal to Equestria’ labeled human sized crate.
“Huh? Just what in the world?” wondered Deadpool. C’mon open it.You know you want to!
Following his conscience advice, Deadpool approached the crate, a smile on his face as he wondered at the possibilities, either it was really a portal to Equestria, or it was just a practical joke from a Brony-hater, which would give him the perfect excuse to go hunting for something to kill, he giggled at both possibilities. He turned off his image inducer, and with the help of one of his katanas he opened the crate, just to find it empty.
“Oh, someone is in for a beating….” Deadpool was interrupted by a strong impact that sent him flying towards the crate and as his body collided with the interior walls of the box, the lid was sealed again trapping him inside. A female voice victoriously announced “gotcha!”
Before our mentally disordered hero had a chance to fight back, he felt all his limbs going numb, eventually losing his conscience.
Devil May Cry universe – “Devil May Cry” Demon hunting shop and Dante’s house.
The restoration efforts had finally paid off; Dante was able to rebuild his shop by taking odd jobs with the help of Lady and got a sponsor by the name of Morrison, who was more than interested in Dante’s demon hunting abilities.
It had been a week since Dante and his partners defeated Galactus, and ever since he returned he was motivated enough to go Demon hunting all week long, ignoring his ‘resting six days of the week’ policy. But now everything was quiet, Dante had cleared all the jobs he had for the next two months, and unless Lady came with a really nasty job, Dante wouldn’t have anything to do.
Dante sat on his chair and rested his feet on the desk, grabbed a slice of ‘meat lovers’ pizza and started to drift off. From his first fight with Deadpool, to when he met Zero. From stopping Wesker, Doom and M.O.D.O.K (who had been dubbed not only by Deadpool and himself, but also by Zero as ‘Humpty Dumpty in a Rocket Chair’) to stopping Galactus, and thus ending their travels as a party.
Dante was taken back to reality as the doorbell ringed, and a young woman entered the room. She was gorgeous, even by Dante’s standards, but what caught his attention was not her body, but her weird colored hair, it had shades of magenta, pink and even gold.
“Excuse me, are you by any chance Dante?” asked the mysterious woman in a warm tone.
“Yes. How can I help you?” answered Dante not just eager to take a job, but also by the thought of scoring with such a beauty.
“I have a job offer to make you.” Answered the woman, using the same warm tone, a small smile on her face.
Dante stood up, grabbed his coat, Devil Arms and handguns. And calmly replied “Let’s go then.”
“Oh thank you!” exclaimed the kind woman. Just as they were getting through the door, she replied “Oh and please don’t make any ideas. I’m married.”
“Tch. Whatever.” Replied Dante, a little disappointed.
They traveled a small distance until they were out of sight and the woman said in an apologetic tone “I’m sorry.”
“What-” started to say Dante, but before he could say anything else he fell to the ground unconscious.

“Ugh! What happened?” asked Zero to himself, as his speaking protocols came back online. He was lying down on what appeared to be a meadow. According to his sensors there were no signs of high technology anywhere near, just organic beings. As he took on his surroundings, he noticed that the trees here contrary to his world, had no mechanical parts, everything was so green, so vivid… he liked it. Just behind him was a hill, with a single tree at its top, the Sun at its Zenith. Detecting no hostile life forms nearby, Zero started to wonder what had happened. “My memory banks seem to be in order. Let’s see what I can remember.”
I was assisting Axl on handling a Maverick raid, fortunately they all surrendered,making the job easier, then a giant mechaniloid appeared, and we retired it with ease. As we called Alia to get transferred back to base I saw something through the midnight sky, an unnatural glow. And then darkness.

“Ugh, finally. Now I need to figure out where I am…” Zero stopped his train of thought as his hearing sensors detected a familiar voice singing.
That voice!? Could it be? Zero got up as fast as he could, tried to locate the source of the singing, according to his sensors, it was just at the other side of the nearby hill.
Zero started running towards the top of the hill, his processor filled with thoughts like. Please let it be her. Please.
As Zero was reaching the top of the hill he shouted ‘from the top of his lungs’ “IRIS!!” All sounds stopped as did the song. Zero’s pupils shrunk as he fell to his knees, putting a shaking palm softly on his face he said to himself. “You idiot, she’s dead. You killed her, don’t you remember?” Then as the self rage consumed him, he let out a loud scream. “IF ONLY I HAD BEEN STRONGER, IF I HAD BEEN ABLE TO CONVINCE HER. IRIS!!!” If reploids other than Megaman X were able to cry, Zero would be crying at that same moment. He was so lost in himself that he didn’t hear the soft rustling of a nearby bush, and a yellow equine figure slowly walking towards him.
Zero was still cursing himself, then, he felt something furry hug him, and the same voice that he had heard before soothed him. “There, there. Don’t cry everything will be ok.”
Zero lifted his face to meet eye to eye with the equine and softly asked “Iris? Is that you?”
The equine softly answered “my name isn’t Iris, I’m Fluttershy. What’s your name?”
Still shaking a little from his outburst Zero answered. “My name is Zero. Sorry it’s just your voice sounds so much like an old friend of mine.” Zero then realized that he was talking to a butter colored winged pony. “Wait. A talking pony? Just where in the world am I?”
“Um. Well this is Equestria.” Answered Fluttershy meekly “Where are you from Zero? You certainly don’t look from around here.”
How can I explain her? I don’t even know what is happening? This seems so much like the time I fought alongside Deadpool and Dante.
Zero finally decided to stand up. Fluttershy looked at Zero waiting for an answer. And as Zero gave his back on her he answered. “I’m from another world,” that gained some interest from the meek pony. “I have no intentions on harming your kind, but, I don’t know why I am here. Do you think there is someone I could talk that would know anything about it?”
Fluttershy pondered for a while, and then answered. “Well there is Twilight, she’s the smartest unicorn I know, and she must be able to help you.” A unicorn?! Just where the hell am I?
Zero decided just to nod, and followed Fluttershy towards Twilight’s library.
Deadpool woke up to find nothing but darkness. “Ouch, am I still in the crate?” well duh, where else would you be? I was thinking maybe on Equestria. “Silly voices, now to get out of here and crack the spine of whoever did this to me… wait a second.” What is it? Do you have the feeling you are in a comic again? Or a videogame? “More like in a book, or more specifically a bad written story.” Now that you mention it…. I don’t like it, it makes me uneasy. It’s like we could die or disappear at the whim of the writer. “Hey! That gives me an idea! Hey Writer… Writer can you get rid of this little persons inside my brain? No? Screw you then Writer!”Like if you were getting away from us that easily. “It was worth the try was it not?”
Deadpool struggled to move in such a small space but found it quite difficult, the crate was made of solid wood, with almost just enough room for him to stand up, and there were no visible cracks. Struggling as hard as he could he started to shake the crate, maybe it would loosen up if he tumbled it to the ground. He succeeded in making it fall, but nothing happened. He perked up at the sounds of hoof steps coming closer. Hoof steps? Maybe THIS is Equestria! Exclaimed one of the consciousnesses with joy.
“Hello? Is anypony here?”Asked an all too familiar bubbly voice.
“Is she…?” whispered Deadpool to himself. Is she…? Asked one his consciousness at the same time. Yes she is!
Deadpool pressed as hard as he could to the sides of the crate, and grunted as he struggled to get free. The bubbly equine getting nearer as she was lured by all the grunting noises that came from the box.
Feeling the nails loosen up, Deadpool called to all his strength and as he broke out of the box, he yelled in an almost demented tone “Surprise!!!”
The bubbly pony fell to the ground, and looked in a bewildered state at the man that was in front of her, she then brought a hoof to her mouth to try to suppress the urge to laugh as she snickered, but she soon broke controlover her body as she hiccuped and bursted out laughing, and rolling on the ground.
That went as expected. Did it not?Well, duh. We have been preparing for this scenario for like ever.
Deadpool looked to his surroundings, he was in a dark room, some pipes adorned the walls, the place was filled with barrels, and sacks. Those were filled with all kind of confectionary ingredients like flour, sugar, sprinkles, and lots and lots of other stuff Deadpool wouldn’t care enough to check through.
He started laughing alongside the pink bubbly pony. The pink pony recovered her composure to greet our already known friend. “Hi my name is Pinkie Pie” she stopped to take a look at her ‘guest’.
“I’m Deadpool, nice too meet you…” Deadpool stopped as he felt his stomach grumble.
“Ooohhh you must be really hungry *snort*” said Pinkie in between giggles. “Follow me; I’ll get you something to eat.”
Deadpool nodded eagerly, and followed the bouncing Pinkie as he walked like he was the Little Red Riding Hood. “Best day ever!” said Deadpool to himself.
Pinkie then stopped dead on her tracks, almost causing the mercenary to trip over her. And with some shining in her eyes she exclaimed “ohmygosh! After we get you something to eat, you have to meet my friends, they are the bestest of the best, and then we can make you a party, and play games, and…” as Pinkie wandered off with her ideas Deadpool started to get nostalgic, being with someone as random as himself, brought back memories of the time he had founded the Deadpool corps. Those were good times…. Wait a sec? Do I have control of my mind again? Hey voices, where are you? Yes! Thank you writer!!!.
After the both of them ate almost half the stock of Sugar Cube Corner’s confectionary, they both agreed to go and meet Twilight in her library.
“Ugh, that’s why I hate blind dating, every date they pick for me has to be either really ugly, or be a total nut job.” groaned Dante, as he started regaining his senses “just where the hell am I? An Apple orchard?” Dante stood up, and tried to find where he was, but to no avail. All that he could see were apple trees.
“Tch, last time I date a married woman” told Dante to himself, as he searched for his weaponry, luckily nothing had been stolen.
“What are you? And what are you doing in ma’ orchard?” Dante perked up to the sound of the deep voice and turned around to see a red pony with an orange short mane.
“Wait a minute did you just talk?” Dante started laughing; he thought he had totally lost it, a talking horse. He couldn’t even react as he felt the rear legs of the Stallion buck him hard on the ribs, sending him flying, and crushed through three rows of apple trees breaking them apart.
Dante got up as the stallion got closer. “Ya’all sure are strong to be standing after an impact like that so ah’ll ask again. What are you? And what are you doing on my orchard?”
“I’ve really must have lost my mind, but this is no illusion, the buck and the trees felt so real.” Dante cleared some Blood that dripped from his mouth. “Still, a little horse that talks, and has so much strength seems taken out of a cartoon. Hey reddie, Bring it on.” Dante lifted up his hands and threw a few jabs to the air to provoke the stallion in front of him. The red stallion flared at Dante, and charged towards him, Dante started charging as he yelled “yeeeehaw!”
“HALT!!!” a loud voice stopped both Dante and the red stallion, Dante turned to look for the source of the voice and saw an orange mare wearing a Stetson hat. She had long blonde hair, green eyes, and a few freckles on her face. Another talking hillbilly horse? Gimme a break. “Big Mac. How many times do ah have ta tell ya? Do not break down the apple trees,” the orange mare fixed her gaze on Dante “and you, leave now, or I’ll buck you till there’s no tomorrow.”
Dante smirked at the orange pony. “You’re feisty I like that,” Dante then pointed towards Big Mac “who is he? your boyfriend?”
“He’s my brother, for Pete’s sake” answered the orange mare.
“So, is that a yes?” teased Dante.
“I swear in Celestia’s name, one more and I’ll kick you personally out of Equestria.”
Dante blinked, a quizzed look appeared on his face. “Equestria? Just where the hell am I?”
“Huh? Ya’ mean to tell me yer not from around these parts?” asked the orange mare raising an eyebrow. “Do you even remember how ya got here?”
Dante held a hand under his chin. “All I remember was being hired by a gorgeous lady, and when I wasn’t looking she did something to me.” He seemed displeased at the thought of being defeated so easily.
“So yer what? A bodyguard?” guessed the orange pony.
Dante smirked at the thought. “Not even close,” Dante then took out his dual guns and started to play with them as he introduced himself "my name is Dante son of Sparda, and I’m a Demon hunter!” As he said the last part, he stopped fumbling with his guns, and pointed them right towards the cowpony, left handed gun on the right side, and right handed gun on his left.
This Dante fella may be crazier than Pinkie Pie, and more dangerous too. It will be better if I play along, get on his good side and all. “Well, nice to meet ya Dante. Ah’m Applejack.” AJ extended her right hoof towards Dante, offering a smile. Dante sheathed his guns, and shook his hand with Applejack’s hoof. “Ah have a friend that could help you understand better where you are, she lives in the Library at the town. She’s very knowledgeable, and a good friend.”
Big Mac came closer to her sister and whispered to her ear. “Do ya really think this a good idea? That Dante fella seems awfully dangerous.”
“Don’t worry big bro; I’m sure Twilight will know what to do. Until then we have to play along.”
Dante was tapping the ground impatiently with his foot, arms crossed. “Are we going or not?” AJ turned and gave him a nod, and both started to walk towards Ponyville.
"What's the progress with our trapped 'friends'?" Asked the queen of the changelings.
"We are doing great your majesty," explained a drone as he bowed. "we have already broken the enchantments."
"Good work drone. Keep me posted. Now leave" the drone gave one last bow, and left.
What a great day for studying! Thought Twilight, and indeed it had been. She had woken up early, eaten a healthy breakfast, had some pleasure reading, and was now ready to start reading ‘Star Swirl the Bearded’s advanced Magic volume VII’ she had already read all of the previous tomes, and memorized the spells that she had found to be the most useful. As our lavender unicorn opened the ancient tome, there was a knock on the library’s mahogany door.
Who could it be at this time of the afternoon? She opted to store the book away back in one of the shelves, and walked towards the red door, as she was a couple meters away from the door she used her telekinetic grip to take a hold of the doorknob, and carefully turned it and opened the door.
“Hello, how can I…” she stopped as she noticed the ones that had knocked on her door had been Rarity and Rainbow Dash both with a big grin on their faces. A smile appeared on Twilight’s face as she was infected by the ones her friends wore. “Hi girls. What are you doing around here? Oh where are my manners. Please come in.”
“Hello, dear you won’t believe what happened…” started Rarity as both ponies entered the library, but, before she could continue she was cut off by Rainbow Dash “We got amazing news from Lyra’s place, ‘he’ is finally coming back to Ponyville.”
“He?”Asked Twilight, before she realized. “Oh you don’t surely mean…”
“How rude you were Rainbow Dash, it’s improper to cut someone off like that.” Scolded Rarity, indignation displayed on her face.
“Yeah, he he sorry about that.” Apologized Rainbow Dash. “It’s just that, it’s going to be so awesome.”
Twilight was about to speak again, before she was cut again by a soft knocking on the other side of the door. “Who in Equestria could that be?” wondered Twilight as she went to open the door, while Rarity and Rainbow Dash gossiped about the one that was returning to Ponyville.
“Hello, who is there?” called Twilight.
“Um. Hi Twilight, it’s me Fluttershy.” Answered the meek Pegasus at the other side of the door.
Twilight opened her door, and started to walk back, as Fluttershy and a bipedal being entered the door. The stuttering of Twilight’s hoofsteps drew the attention of her two guests, the sight of such a creature drained the blood from Rarity’s face, while making Rainbow Dash flare her wings as she stood between Rarity and the metal creature.
“Oh sorry, forgot to tell you I brought company,” apologized the timid pegasus “this is Zero. He says he’s not from around here.”
“Umm… sorry to have scared you.” Apologized Zero, not sure how to react against frightened ponies. Twilight started to relax, but Rainbow Dash kept a defensive position, not convinced of the Reploid’s true intentions. Colors started to return to Rarity’s face, but she still not dared to move a muscle.
“H-hello, m-my name’s Twilight Sparkle.” stuttered the lavender unicorn, as she shakily extended her hoof towards Zero. Zero slowly extended his own hand and softly grabbed Twilight’s hoof. Twilight started to relax, and so did Rarity and Rainbow Dash, who slowly approached their visitor. “Sorry I was just taken aback by your appearance, I’ve never seen anything like you before. Oh where are my manners, this two ponies here are called Rarity and Rainbow Dash.”
Zero turned to see the two mares and politely answered “nice to meet you, sorry to have scared you.”
“Excuse me if I sound a little too direct, but.” Apologized Rarity in advance, taking notice on the large pieces of metal their guest wore, they looked too heavy to be lifted by a single pony. “What are you? Are you, what did Lyra called them? A hue-man?”
“Oh, yes I wanted to ask that too, but I was afraid to.” Said Fluttershy as she weakly walked towards her friends, so they would all stand in front of Zero.
“Well, I can assure you I’m not a pony.” explained Zero “I’m also not a human. I’m what is called a replica android, or reploid for short. I DO look like a human, at least on body and face structure. The difference is that I’m not made of organic components.”
“Hold on a second here.” Said Rainbow Dash, as she moved closer to Zero. “You mean to tell me you are a robot? Just like in the science fiction comics?”
Zero negated with his head. “Not really. Robots, and reploids share a lot of similarities, we both have mechanical bodies, as well as processors and circuits. But the difference between a robot and a reploid is right here,” Zero used one of his hands to point at his head. “We reploids can think, learn, and evolve. We are not programmed for one purpose only. We even have feelings, which is another of the main differences between us reploids and robots.”
Every pony in the room remained silent, thinking in what Zero had told them. Twilight said in a warm and caring tone. “I believe you.” This earned looks from her friends. “You seem honest enough, and if Fluttershy trusted enough on you as to get close, and bring you here. The least I can do is show the same trust.”
“I believe you two, darling.” Said Rarity, her eyes closed and an approving smile displayed on her face.
Rarity then looked to Rainbow Dash who was sitting just beside her, with a disapproving look focused on Zero. Rarity then gave a nudge to Rainbow Dash. “Ok, ok. I guess I believe you.”
“Now, we need to…” Twilight was cut off, not because one of her friends again, but because a loud knock on her door.
“What now?” she grimaced, as she was interrupted by the fourth time today. “Who is it?”
As an answer the door burst open, and Pinkie entered bouncing, in the most joyful way “Hey guys, let me introduce you to my newest of the newest of my friends. Come in!” she bounced away from the door and as she did she yelled “Do a barrel roll!” and as commanded a red and black figure entered the building rolling.
As the figure stood up he proudly said “hi, my name is….” He stopped halfway as he saw Zero, his saber held tightly on his hand. “Zero!?”
The confusion in Zero’s eyes was evident, as he said in a not so slightly surprised tone. “Deadpool!? What are you doing here?” he relaxed his grip on his Z-saber and sheathed it on its compartment on his back, as he approached the loud mercenary and shook hands with him. Deadpool, so happy went forward and hugged the red reploid. “Zero, I can’t believe it! Are you a brony too? Did you take a ‘portal to Equestria’ crate too?”
“Umm... care to introduce us?” asked Twilight.
“Oh sorry!” chirped Pinkie Pie ever so bubbly “He says his name is Deadpool, I found him in my basement.”
“in your basement?” inquired Rainbow Dash looking in disbelief between Pinkie and Deadpool, who was now introducing himself, or rather trying to introduce himself to Fluttershy, who just tried to back away from the weird guest. “Well, actually, that sounds just like you.”
“Twilight are ya home?” echoed the thick southern accent of Applejack from out the street. “Ah have a friend out here that could use your guidance.”
“Ok, come in” she made gestures to the others as to hide their new friends, but a little too late, as Applejack entered with her friend to the library.
“Zero, Deadpool!?” exclaimed the half demon, as a smile appeared in his face. “This is truly the last place where I thought I’ll meet you again.”
Zero smiled, the thought of fighting alongside not only one, but two old comrades filled his circuits. “I was thinking just the same thing, good to see you again.” Zero closed in to give Dante a handshake.
“Skippy! oh how I missed you Skippy!” exclaimed Deadpool, running towards Dante to give him a hug while making a kissy face visible even though he was wearing his mask. Deadpool was stopped by Dante holding Ivory on his hand, aiming for Deadpool’s head at point blank. “Just call me Skippy one more time, and I’ll blow your head off.”
Everyone in the library freaked out, well, everyone except Zero who already knew the antics these two used to do.
“Ok, ok. Jeez that’s how you meet a friend?” pouted Deadpool. As Dante lowered his gun, the expressions of all the ponies in the room relaxed.
“Can anypony please ‘xplain me what’s going on, and who’re these?” asked Applejack. The three otherworldly visitors nodded, and introduced themselves again. They also explained how they had met, and how they had been brought to Equestria.
“My head hurts.” said the cowpony as she rubbed her temples with her hooves.
“So what you are all saying is that someone brought you here for a reason” asked Twilight, trying to order in her head all the information that had just entered her head.
“Well,” started Zero. “They are certain they were brought here. As for me I don’t know what happened. I was just teleporting back to the HQ when this unnatural blue light appeared above the midnight sky.”
“Dear, why don’t you try reaching the princess?” asked Rarity, directing to Twilight. “Maybe she can help them get back home.”
“Wait a minute.” Exclaimed Dante in disbelief. “There is a princess here?”
“Well, not here per se, she rules the land from the city of Canterlot.” Explained Twilight, while her hoof pointed to one of the windows inside the library, which displayed the image of the royal city, resting on the cliff of the mountain. “She also control’s the sun’s movement, and her sister the moon.”
“So you mean to tell us that the sun and the moon are controlled by two ponies?” said Zero trying to make sense of things.
“Twilight, why don’t you send the letter to the princess while I explain to these gentlemen here, what the princesses’ job is?” suggested Rarity earning a nod from the lavender unicorn, which proceeded to head upstairs. Rarity explained all about how the princesses possessed the treats of all the pony races, their jobs as keepers of the sun and moon, as well as how they had saved Equestria several times before.
After a while Twilight came back down, with a scroll levitating with her magic, her eager assistant tagging along, a sleepy face plastered along his features.
“Everyone this is Spike, I’ve already explained him everything.” Said Twilight.
“Sup.” Said Spike as he came closer to the weird beings, he was at knee high compared to Zero who was the shortest of the three.
“Well what did the princess say?” asked Applejack, noticing the royal seal on the letter.
“Well that’s the thing.” Said Twilight. “They want to see us right away. We nine will depart tomorrow morning. Spike will stay behind and take care of the library.”
“Huh?” exclaimed Spike. “Ugh! Not again.”
“Sorry Spike” apologized Twilight. “But someone has to take care of things when I’m not around.”

“Ugh. Just what happened?” groaned Sigma as he stood up. “That darned Lumine stabbed me from behind, once I get my hands on that little…” Sigma then looked to his surroundings. “What the..! This isn’t the moon.”
“So you are awake.” Said Chrysalis, as she stepped out of the darkness. “My name is Chrysalis, queen of the changelings. You are the first to wake up.” Chrysalis smirked as she caught sight of the other two figures starting to awake.
“Huh? First?” Sigma scanned his surroundings and caught sight of the two Chrysalis was talking about. “Humans?”
“Who are you calling a human?” groaned Vergil as he stood up, using Yamato to help him keep his balance. “My name is Vergil, son of the demon lord Sparda.”
The third one known as Ajax stood. “I’m not a human either, at least not anymore. I’m a cyborg.”
“Hmpf.” Groaned Sigma, as he turned his head to meet eyes with Chrysalis. “And what do you want from us?”
“I just want to help you get revenge on the pony that sealed you in that crystal prison.” Then the memories started to flash back into the three villains minds. A portal had sucked them, right after their defeat.
Just before the rebellious Lumine destroyed Sigma’s main processor, he used his virus form, to transfer into a new generation reploid that contained all his previous forms, but before he could activate it was sucked by anomaly on the space-time continuum, caused by Paradise Lost. The technique used by Lumine during his fight against the three maverick hunters.
After his final battle with Dante, Vergil wandered the Demon realm looking for worthy opponents to test his might. The distinctive smell of his blood, the blood of Sparda, kept luring more and more devils to fight against him. When Vergil finally took a quick nap to restore his lost energy, he felt a dimensional ripple stir around him, the high gravity that it produced prevented him from escaping and thus being sucked into this new world he had found himself in.
As for Ajax, the last thing he remembered was getting killed after a ferocious battle with Deadpool. He felt as lady Death came closer to him, the temperature dropping for each step she made towards him, as she extended her hand wanting to give Ajax her caress, the final touch she needed to give, so she could claim the soul that was hers by right, but he was taken away from her. The cosmic being known as Thanos summoned both his mind and body, and offered a second chance to fight Deadpool. After agreeing, Ajax’s body was healed, and dropped into a portal, along with his soul.
The three of them appeared in the same area, a cave filled with all kind of crystals. They stood in the middle of the vault, and in the entrance stood Celestia wielding the Elements of Harmony for one last time. Before any of the three could react, Celestia casted a spell, which encased the three visitors in crystal. The Elements of Harmony transformed into stone orbs, and flew to the castle of the Royal Pony Sisters, where they would remain dormant, until the return of Nightmare Moon.
“Why should I help you?” asked Vergil. “What would you offer me, to not cut you in half, and then going after that princess?”
“That’s actually a good question” mocked Chrysalis. “If you help me, I’ll give you each a part of the power that was used to seal you, the Elements of Harmony. I’ll also send you back to your dimensions.”
“I did perceive a strong energy emanating from the garments that princess was wearing when she sealed us” acknowledged Sigma. “If I had some of that power as an energy source, I’m pretty sure I could use it to finally defeat Megaman X and Zero, and take my place as ruler of the world. Count me in.”
“All I care for is beating Deadpool.” Ajax said, a manic grin expanding over his scarred face. “And if you can provide me more power to torture him, I’ll be more than glad to help you.”
“Well played Chrysalis.” Said Vergil, his face displaying no emotions. “I’m in too, but if you ever try to deceive us.” Vergil grabbed Yamato’s hilt and with a quick movement he made a distortion in space which ripped apart one of the changeling drones that were nearby.
“Ok then it’s settled.” Said Chrysalis, an evil grin on her face. “But first we will need more allies. We are heading to Tartarus, I’m sure you three will be able to defeat Cerberus easily, and once we unleash hell in Equestria our job will be much easier.” The evil queen laughed.
“That was way too easy!” Exclaimed Ajax grinning as he sat on top of the only head that wasn’t severed from Cerberus’s body.
“To believe that such a feeble monster would protect something as valuable as this.” Said Vergil, as he cleaned his sword from the blood by slashing it once against the air, the blood splattering the soil as the momentum stopped.
Sigma just stood there, his cold gaze shifting between the gates to Tartarus, to his allies, to Chrysalis, and back to the gates. “Are you sure this is the right place? If this monster is strong enough to keep all those others incarcerated, they must not be that strong.”
“Cerberus wasn’t so strong per se; he was more like a barrier to scare away all the unwanted visitors.” Explained Chrysalis, an evil grin displayed on her face as she did so. “For creatures like the ponies, it was enough to keep them away and us changelings aren’t as strong as to attack it directly and expect an easy victory.”
“So now what?” asked Ajax sounding impatient. “How much longer until we face the so called princesses and return home?”
“Take it easy,” Said the queen of the changelings, not taking her sight off of Ajax. “Even with the army we are about to gather, it will be difficult to beat the equestrian army, so we have to play our cards right.” She took a deep breath as she shifted her sight between each one of the three villains. “And you three are the ace in my sleeve.”
“I can’t believe this tastes so good!” exclaimed Dante, taking a spoonful of what appeared to be strawberry flavored ice cream, topped with whipped cream and sliced strawberries all arranged in a nice sundae glass. “This is so my favorite dessert as of now.”
“I knew you would like it!” Exclaimed Pinkie Pie, as she handed more of the Strawberry Sundae to everyone inside the cart. It was a small cart, arranged with a blue carpet on the aisle, the red colored seats facing each other on either side of the aisle, a table in front of each seat. Pinkie finished handling the delicious dessert to everyone except for the reploid. “Here you go Zero.”
Zero, who had been talking with Twilight, trying to figure as much as he could about the world they were in, eyed the dessert, but politely declined “No thanks Pinkie Pie.” This earned him a disappointed look from the pony, almost begging him to try the dessert with her big, bright blue eyes. Zero looked at her and with a sight he plainly explained. “I’m a reploid” this just earned him a confused look from the earth pony “I’m made of metal; therefore, I don’t eat food.”
“Ohhh~” Said Pinkie Pie in awe, before giggling. “Sorry for that, I forgot.”
Zero shook his head before looking back to Twilight “So you were saying that there are three pony races, right?”
“Yes,” answered the student, while levitating her spoon, scooping a little of the sundae. “They are Earth ponies, pegasi, and unicorns.” just as she finished, she ate the contents of her spoon.
“And the princesses are alicorns.” Explained Deadpool, while reading a comic book labeled “Prelude to Deadpool corps. Issue #3” in the cover of the comic was displayed a race between four Deadpools, but each and every one of them was different to the one reading the comic, the first one was only a head, the second was a woman with a long blonde ponytail, the third a kid version of Deadpool and the fourth was a dog; all of them sported Deadpool’s trademark red and black spandex costume. Earning looks of confusion from everyone inside the car, except for his bubbly companion, who was devouring both her and Zero’s sundae. “They have all the important traits of the three other pony races. Celestia controls the sun and Luna controls the moon… oh! And Princess Cadance has something to do with spreading love.” Deadpool raised his sight from his comic to see that everyone was looking incredously at him. “What? Do I have the face of Bea Arthur or what?”
“And how in the hay would someone like you know anything of the princesses?” asked Applejack not taking her sight from Deadpool.
“I’m a brony.” Admitted Deadpool with a shrug.
“And just what is a brony?” asked Rainbow Dash, quirking an eyebrow in wonder.
Deadpool proceeded to explain what a brony is and all of their culture.
“So…” Started Twilight, as she tried to figure things out. “You are saying that in your dimension we are part of a TV show for little girls, and that it somehow attracts males from different ages?” Deadpool nodded with his head.
Dante burst out laughing as did Rainbow Dash, the former speaking between laughs. “I can’t believe you like a little girls show.”
Zero turned to see between Deadpool and Dante as they fought one another, and chuckled at the sight. The truth was that he liked this place; it was so calm, so serene that it made him forget of all the centuries he had spent fighting. After a while he decided to break them off, they had pulled out their guns and aimed at each other making all the ponies on board freak out, Fluttershy hiding behind Zero. “Okay boys, stop it. You are starting to make the girls worry.”
“Arriving at Canterlot Station.” Echoed a voice from the speakers inside the car.
“Well that’s our stop.” said Twilight trying to force a smile out of her face. “And please please please, could you guys stop about shooting each other?” Deadpool and Dante nodded a little disappointed.
“What happened to Canterlot?” Asked Rarity, as they walked through almost empty city streets. The only living beings other than the nine of them were mostly soldiers clad in golden armor.
“I don’t know.” Said Twilight as they arrived to Canterlot castle.
There they were greeted by a couple of unicorn guards that opened the door for the group of nine, but when asked what had happened in the town they just answered. “The princess will explain when you meet her.”
Deciding not to press more on the matter they headed inside and right into the court chambers. They headed inside and watched as the three princesses who were sitting in a big round table, were discussing with four different ponies: a unicorn sporting a lavender armor and a white coat, a pegasus clad in a black armor and had a dark blue coat, a red coated earth pony mare sporting a golden armor and a tan colored earth pony, wearing what looked like a silver armor covered in some kind of crystal. What the six mares weren’t expecting was seeing Princess Luna in an azure armor, not much unlike Nightmare Moon’s own, but instead of just wearing the chest piece, she wore a more complete armor, just like the one the royal guards used, her cutie mark visible in the center of the chest guard. Celestia was wearing a matching armor, but it was of a golden color, and sported her cutie mark instead of Luna’s.
As they entered the room the four soldiers, as well as the three princesses, turned to meet gazes with the newly arrived ponies and visitors.
“Twilie!” exclaimed the Unicorn “Glad you could make it little sis.”
“Shining?” said the lavender unicorn, a little surprised. “What is happening?”
“Relax Twilight,” said Celestia, in a warm, caring tone. She turned to see the three visitors, and added. “I think we all owe you some explanations.”
“It was us, who brought the three of you here,” started Luna before anyone could ask anything, the three soldiers and Shining Armor stood silently. “There is a threat looming upon Equestria, and you are the only ones that can help us stop it.”
“You brought them here?” exclaimed Twilight in disbelief. “What could possibly be so dangerous that you had to bring beings from other dimensions to fight with us?”
“The reason is because of three otherworldly beings.” Stated Celestia. “They appeared not more than a year or so before Nightmare Moon was released from her prison.” She took a deep breath before continuing. “I felt their arrival, and brought the Elements of Harmony with me, I found the three beings inside a cave, they were weakened, but I could feel dark energy pouring out from them, so I used the remaining powers left in the Elements to seal them in a crystal prison.”
“But why us?” Asked Zero not taking his sight from the princess of the sun. “What’s the connection between those three and us?”
“After auntie Luna was brought back,” said Cadance “the three of us started to investigate the origins of the rift in space that brought them here. We managed to track all of them to their home dimensions, and after doing some research we learned their names. Their names are Vergil, Ajax and Sigma.”
The pupils of each one of the heroes shrunk when they heard the name of their nemesis.
“So that’s why.” said Dante, bringing a hand under his chin. “It seems that my dear brother and I can’t simply be apart from each other for long.”
“Ajax is still alive?” said Deadpool incredulous, a steady anger building inside him. “I was sure I killed him that time in Switzerland. I just hope that Worm and all the other diaper wearing rejects from Weapon X don’t come back to haunt me.” He shivered at the thought.
“I thought we had finally gotten rid of him,” Said Zero, clenching his fist tightly. “Seems like my job isn’t over yet.”
“But princess that still doesn’t explain why there are so many guards in the city.” Said Applejack in a worried tone.
“We are in the brink of war.” Said the pegasus. “It seems Chrysalis found the cave and became allies with these beings. My name is Storm Chaser, leader of the pegasus division of the army.”
“Not only that,” explained the red coated mare “We’ve also received a message from the guards stationed near Tartarus; it seems they defeated Cerberus, and are preparing to unleash the forces of hell against us.”
The heart of the six mares sank, as they thought of the grave consequences this would have.
Princess Celestia stood up and with help of her telekinesis levitated a purple box adorned with all kinds of gems, as she walked towards the group she opened the box and showed the contents to the six mares. “That’s why we needed you to come Twilight, we need the Elements of Harmony to seal Tartarus and stop Chrysalis once and for all.”
The six mares formed a circle and discussed the matter, after some time of deliberation, Twilight turned to lock eyes with Celestia, with a confident smile on her face she said. “Leave it to us princess.”
The three warriors looked between each other before nodding at the same time. Dante directed to the princesses and said “Count us in.”
Celestia turned to see Shining Armor. “Take Shining Armor with you. He is by far the most experienced unicorn we have against the changelings; he’s fought them many times before and knows the way to your destination.” That earned her a nod from both the Devil hunter, as well as the Maverick Hunter.
“Great.”Celestia then locked gazes with the crystal armored pony. “Siegfried, you and the Dawn Warriors must go to the gates of Tartarus, and close them again.” The pony silently nodded.
“But princess, if I go with them, who will command the unicorn division?” Asked Shining Armor.
Celestia closed her eyes. “That task will rest on Luna’s shoulders as well as mine.” The princess opened her eyes, as she took in a deep breath. “The changeling invasion taught us not to underestimate the enemy, this time I’m going to protect my beloved subjects instead of waiting.”
Celestia then retreated to the balcony with Luna, all the ponies and the three heroes tagging behind. Both princesses rose to the sky, Celestia took the western sky and Luna the eastern sky, with a flare from their horns they lowered and raised the moon letting the day finally finish and the starry night begin.
“You will stay here for tonight.” Said Celestia as she gracefully touched the terrace marble floor with her hooves “Tomorrow we will leave to the east,” she focused her gaze on Deadpool, Dante and Zero. “You and the Elements of Harmony shall accompany us until we reach the halfway point of our destination; from there you will be alone.” The three red warriors nodded. After heading for some dinner (which Deadpool and Dante found distasteful due the lack of meat), everyone went to sleep, they all had a rough day in front of them.
Zero walked through the empty halls of the Canterlot castle, not having the need to sleep had given him the necessity to wander around to kill time. He had already walked around the gardens and most of the first and second floor halls, greeting the night personnel. He hardly believed that this place was on the brink of war, it was so calm and serene, while in his home world everything would be chaotic, with people and reploids running in panic as the squads of Maverick Hunters would try to maintain order.
He endlessly wandered the castle until he met with Princess Luna, who was admiring the city of Canterlot through the exact same terrace where she had raised the moon just some hours ago.
“Good evening Princess.” Greeted the red reploid, Luna turned around clearly surprised to see the reploid there.
“Having some trouble to sleep, I presume?” guessed the midnight alicorn.
“Not really,” answered Zero as he approached the edge of the terrace. “I don’t need to sleep, I get my energies from the sunlight, and since I’m not currently using energy for fighting I’ve been storing more energy than the one I need.” Zero chuckled at the face of the princess that was currently trying to make do of what Zero had just told her. Zero then changed his look to a more serious one. “Earlier you said that you had brought us here. Am I right?”
Princess Luna’s face changed into one of concern as she looked to the glum face Zero was displaying. “That we did.” She focused her gaze on the red reploid. “I was the one in charge to bring you here.”
“But why me?” Inquired Zero his eyes concealed by his helmet, along with the lack of light on the terrace. “Why not Axl, or even Megaman X? Of the three of us X is the strongest and Axl may be a little hard headed but he is a really good Maverick Hunter.” Clenching his fist Zero turned his back to the princess. “All I want is to finish all this fighting, heh I guess you could say X rubbed that on me. I thought that finally that time had come for me when I was brought here.” Zero then turned to see the Princess. “All I’m asking is why me?”
Luna pondered for a while, before formulating her answer. “Not so long ago,” she answered. “My sister and I watched you and your two friends fight the cosmic entity known as Galactus.” She took a deep breath before continuing. “I was in charge of finding one from Sigma’s dimension so we could bring him here, I did consider bringing the one you call Megaman X, but after the display of teamwork that Deadpool, Dante and you displayed we were convinced that you had the skills to beat him.” Tears started to build in the alicorn’s eyes. “I am sorry; we didn’t even think of your own desires and forced this fight upon you.”
Zero felt moved by the display of emotions showed by the princess, if it weren’t by the fact that he isn’t organic he would have died of diabetes at the scene. “Don’t worry your highness, it is my job after all, it’s just I’m getting tired of all of this ‘pulling me out of my dimension to fight a war that is not mine’ stuff.”
“Thanks Zero.” Said Luna giving him a warm smile, as she cleared the tears with one of her hooves.
“Wade, wake up.”
“*snort* no mommy…. Five more minutes… then I’ll go to school and blow the director’s head off.” Mumbled the Merc with a Mouth in his deep sleep.
“Come on Wade, wake up.”
Deadpool mumbled as he groggily opened his eyes, his mask was resting on the night stand next to his bed. He squinted as he tried to focus the red glowing silhouette that was floating on the end of the bed. “Santa is that you?”Inquired the Merc as he took a better look of the spiritual being, it was an old man with a large mustache, he was a little fat, and despite showing signs of baldness he possessed a long grey ponytail. “No, wait… Killbrew?!” said Deadpool shocked “How’ve you been? Have you lost weight? You look a lot lighter now!”
“Same old Deadpool.” Said the spirit of Killbrew with a smile.
“Wait a second,” said Deadpool. “Don’t tell me you came here to tell me I have to get revenge on Ajax as did all the other people from the Hospice, did you?”
“Not exactly,” retorted the fat ghost “I came to beg you. You have to stop him Wade, he’s pure evil.” Killbrew locked his eyes with Deadpool’s. “I know you can be a hero.”
Deadpool stared as Killbrew’s spirit form disappeared. “What the hell just happened?” I dunno. But I’m sure it wasn’t the food. “You guys again? I thought the writer had gotten rid of you.” That’s the thing. “Huh?” He must have thought it would be boring for you to be all alone. “Someone please introduce a screwdriver in my brain.” Pleaded Deadpool as he stood up, no hope in trying to sleep now. He took his outfit and his mask and put them on.
Deadpool walked aimlessly through the halls of the castle, as he turned through a corner he couldn’t help to shudder at the thought of someone watching him. His train of thought stopped abruptly as he stumbled upon a paper bag. What is that? Wondered one of the voices. I hope its food, I’m hungry. Said the second, a grumble echoed from Wade’s stomach. Well? What are you waiting for maybe there are hot pockets in there. Deadpool closed in to look at the bag a little closer; it had a label on it. “Banana bag.” Read Deadpool in a rather indifferent tone. Suddenly he realized as the cogs inside his brain started working that the bag belonged to the ultimate troll.
“Do you like them bananas?” Whispered a voice from behind Deadpool making him jump in surprise. Deadpool turned to see Celestia almost rolling on the floor laughing. “I’m so sorry.” Said Celestia in between laughs. “I couldn’t resist myself from pulling that prank after seeing that ‘animation’ as you call them in your dimension” Celestia continued snickering, and in no short time Deadpool joined in, normally he would kill anyone who outdid him in a prank, but being pranked by what the bronies called Trollestia was an honor.
“So let me guess.” Celestia began “You can’t sleep?”
“Not really,” Said Deadpool, a gloomy tone resonating in his words. “Ajax was something I had left in my past. I thought that chapter of my life was finished, just as Mark Hamill’s career after Star Wars.”
“I can’t sleep either.” Said Celestia as a stern look took the place of the normally calm and soothing she usually had. “I’m nervous about this. What if I’m not strong enough to protect my subjects? What am I going to do if we fail? If Luna and I die who will spin the sun and the moon? I have been asking these questions ever since the day started.” Deadpool heard what the princess was confiding to him. “Normally when I get stressed out I make some pranks to people I trust, it’s an easy way to blow some steam off and since it’s all in good fun it strengthens our bonds.” Celestia looked at Deadpool, Locking her magenta eyes with the mask’s own white ones. “I have full confidence in you, Zero and Dante. And I’m sure you will be able to beat that fiend Ajax. Just as Killbrew said: You can be a hero.” Deadpool recoiled at that last part. “Huh? You saw Killbrew’s ghost too?” then another cog inside his brain started to spin. “Where you spying on me while I tried to sleep?”
Celestia gave him a warm smile. “Well I WAS trying to prank you wasn’t I? And yes I saw...” loud gunshots interrupted Celestia’s answer and with a nod from the merc with a mouth they both headed to the source of the gunshots.
Dante tried as hard as he could to put himself to sleep, but to no avail, he was so excited about the possibility of fighting Vergil again, and who knows, maybe his brother would understand the legacy that Sparda had left them this time.
Dante decided that sleeping was a futile idea, as he heard at what seemed to be two ponies regarding the clicking noises they made on the stone floor at each step they made.
The two ponies seemed to be pacing in front of his door, the first one had a heavier sound to his steps, to which Dante regarded as a male pony. While the other one made soft noises with each click on the floor, Dante assumed it was a female pony. They were talking. Dante stood up and got closer to the door so he could hear what the two ponies were talking about.
“I’m telling you we need to get out of here ASAP.” Whispered the male voice. “If we go now maybe we can reach the queen and warn her.”
“Or,” stated the female voice, also in a whisper. “We could get rid of them, and then get some kind of promotion.”
“A promotion sounds nice,” hissed the male one. “But killing the three of them is too risky; maybe we should just take care of one, and then get out of here.”
“Hmm…” wondered the female one. “You are right. We should play it safe, but with whom should we start?”
“Maybe the one with the white mane. He is the one that looked the weakest.” Dante chucked at their ignorance. Do they really think I’m the weakest? They are in for a little surprise then.
Dante grabbed his trusty guns, and with his right foot slammed the door open. He took sight of the two ponies that were about to enter his room. The first one was a grey colored unicorn stallion, the second a yellow coated pegasus mare.
“Hello ladies! You were looking for me?” asked Dante in a mocking tone as he watched the two ponies back away slowly fear combined with a hint of surprise displayed on their faces, eventually breaking into a gallop to get as far as they could from the devil hunter. Dante broke into a pursuit following the two ponies up close.
“Quick Silver.” As Dante said this the time started to slow, the only being able to move at regular speed was him, and with a calm step he walked in closer to the two ponies. He stood just in front of them and pointed them with his guns. And then the flow of time returned to its normal pace.
“Oh hello there, going anywhere?” Said Dante as the two ponies stopped dead just a couple of inches away from him, his gun’s cannons resting in the middle of each pony’s brow, the two ponies started to back away slowly. Just before Dante could press the trigger of his handguns, he was encased in a purple orb. “Huh?”
“What the hay is going on here?” Asked Shining Armor, his horn covered by a purple aura, Princess Cadance stood next to him watching at the scene with fear displayed on her eyes. “What do you think you are doing pointing with that at the guards?” asked Shining Armor to Dante.
Dante shrugged at the question and answered. “Hey, I’m sorry ok?” Shining Armor released the shield, but before anyone could react. Dante raised Ebony & Ivory, leveling them with the guards’ heads and shot; the two rounds pieced through the skull of the two ponies and imbedded themselves in the wall.
“The hell with you!” Snapped Shining Armor as he grabbed Dante with his aura. “Why did you do that?” Dante closed his eyes and with a smirk on his face, pointed to the dead bodies, who were now pouring some green gooie liquid. “Huh?” Still holding Dante in his magical grasp, Shining Armor took a closer look to the dead bodies, they looked different. The colors of their hide started to turn black and the fur disappeared leaving a carcass looking body frame, holes appeared on each of their legs and the still open eyes of the deceased changed from their regular form into sky blue colored orbs.
Noises came from the hallways as guards, as well as Zero, Deadpool, Celestia, Luna and the Elements of Harmony hurried to the scene.
“We heard gunshots!” Exclaimed Zero as he reached the scene.
“What happened?” Asked Celestia as she approached Shining armor, which was still holding Dante in place with his magic. Celestia looked in horror at the scene as she saw the two ponies on the ground. “Are those Changelings?”
“It appears so.” Acknowledged Shining Armor as he released Dante from his grasp. “I’m sorry Dante, seems I judged you too soon.”
“Hey no harm done,” Said Dante with a shrug before looking towards the corpses. “Well, except for them.”
“Can anyone explain what happened here?” Demanded Luna.
Dante explained what happened to everyone.
Celestia closed her eyes in concern. “I can’t believe changelings have already infiltrated our forces…” she looked to see Luna. “It seems it’s time we reveal our secret weapon sis.” Luna nodded and using the volume of the Royal Canterlot Voice summoned all the guards in the castle to the courtyard.
After some minutes the entire guard was formed and the Princess of the Night directed herself towards the guards. “As many of you have heard there has been some infiltrators among us, Celestia and I hoped to save this spell for later, but we can’t leave this situation without checking.” Luna took a deep breath before continuing. “This spell will remove all kind of transformations either from a changeling or any other source.” Luna gathered magic into her horn and a single drop of blue magic fell in front of her, as the drop fell before her hooves a spherical aura surged from the floor, it expanded rapidly as it passed through all things material, the expansion of the field stopped just to the outskirts of the castle grounds.
Two of the royal guards who had been strangely anxious since they had been summoned transformed into the black creatures, they were seized immediately by the guards, and brought to the castle dungeons to get information. Knowing that he wouldn’t be able to sleep, Zero sent all the other members of the group to get some sleep while he helped the guards in the interrogation task. He didn’t like the idea of torturing a living being, but they would need all the information they could get for what was to come.

A single changeling ran towards the queen’s chambers in the structure known as The Hive, which was the changeling’s base of operations as well as the home for the swarm.
The small drone ran as fast as he could, avoiding every other drone that stood in his way, the news he had were too important for him to delay. He was smaller and thinner than most of the other changelings that walked through the Hive. His body had a purpose though, he was neither a soldier nor a worker, he was an infiltrator. The changelings had mastered the modification of their own offspring by using their magic to shape them in different ways. They would make the exoskeleton thicker and heavier, as well as making the frame wider if the changeling was intended to be a worker or a soldier; If they needed researchers they would instead modify the size of the head and stimulate the brain cortex and the length of the horn, making them more skillful using magic; the infiltrators would have a really thin exoskeleton, and a small frame that would make them faster and would help them find cover in places that a normal changeling or pony would not fit.
The lone infiltrator finally reached his destination and after informing the guards of the situation they let him in. Inside was Chrysalis the queen of the changelings, who was discussing military tactics with her new allies. The meeting was interrupted as the small changeling entered the room.
“Excuse me for the interruption mistress,” said the drone as he bowed, still trying to catch his breath. “But this is important.”
“It better be,” said the queen of the changelings her gaze fixed upon the lowly drone. “Now speak.” The drone nodded. “The whole infiltration team that had been sent to Canterlot has been discovered and captured; I’m the only one that managed to escape.”
Chrysalis eye twitched before she snapped “WHAT?! How did that happen?” The table that was in front of her trembled as she stomped her front hooves on it.
The drone recoiled at the outburst of his leader, and proceeded to explain Princess Luna’s spell, and why they all had been captured. “Not only that but they seem to have allies of other worlds just like you mistress.” Chrysalis was surprised to say the least; she hadn’t expected the princesses to get help from outside their world. “Explain yourself.” Demanded the queen.
“I have no idea how they got to Equestria,” began the drone. “The first one is a robot called Zero; he sports a red armor and a long blonde mane. The second is a human called Deadpool, he is by what I understood the most unpredictable of the three. And the third is Dante, a human with a white mane, he was the one that discovered and killed the first two members of the squadron.”
“Drone, you are dismissed.” Said Chrysalis, the drone bowed and left, and as he did so the queen turned to see her allies.
“I can’t believe it,” said Ajax, displaying a manic grin. “Wilson is here, this is just great. It’s time to settle my score.”
Vergil admired the pendant that hung on his chest, his face displaying no emotions.
Sigma grinned. “Zero may be a formidable opponent, but, he can’t beat me. Not alone.”
“Darling please,” Pleaded Rarity. “Let me do something about your garments, they look just awful.”
“It’s the last time I say this,” said Dante, slight irritation adorning his features. “No thanks. I like my clothes just like they are.”
“Humph! Be that way.” Huffed Rarity. As she turned away she saw a familiar unicorn marching along the lines. He was tall with a frame wider than most of the other ponies, he had a pristine white coat, a dashing short cut blue mane, an elegant mustache and a monocle resting on his left eye. “Fancy Pants?” said Rarity out loud, taken by surprise by the sudden appearance of one of the most popular unicorns in all Canterlot.
“Rarity how lovely to see you again,” started the gentle pony, with a smile always present on his face. “Well it would be, if not for the fact of the looming war we are marching towards.”
“Indeed it is.” Said the ivory mare. “I hadn’t seen you since the wedding at Canterlot. What are you doing here?”
“Why, I am one of the princess tacticians of course.” Answered Fancy Pants. The two unicorns continued to walk as they got away from Dante, Applejack and Rainbow Dash.
“Don’t mind her so much,” said Rainbow Dash. “She may be prissy and a little pushy, but she means well.”
“Ah rekon it’s all these traveling what has been making her so jumpy,” complemented Applejack, as she fixed her Stetson above her head. “she’s not used ta’ all this dust and travelin’ stuff.”
“Whatever,” said Dante as he shrugged. “As long as she restrains from insulting my way to dress it’s all right, I guess.”
The whole group had been traveling with the equestrian army for three days now; they departed the morning after Dante discovered the changelings that had infiltrated the castle. Deadpool and Dante were ready by the door with Shining Armor and the six Elements of Harmony at first hour in the morning, all waiting for Zero to come out of the dungeons. Zero arrived moments later with a gloom expression reflected on his eyes. No one asked a question regarding the interrogation, and after a brief greeting the group joined the rest of the army.
The three warriors splitted ever since the travel started. Deadpool went with Pinkie to find a way to have fun, meanwhile Dante tried to relax as much as possible, since he wouldn’t be getting much more rest after they arrived. Zero on the other hand joined the princesses and their tacticians, trying to decide the best route of action for both the whole army, as well as his own group.
The whole congregation of military ponies stopped only to eat and sleep, they still needed to cover much more ground in the least time as possible to prevent the enemy from spreading too far. Every hour a pegasus would fly in the direction they had been traveling to report about the enemy progress, most of the time the work landed on the shoulders of Spitfire, Soarin and the other Wonderbolts.
It was early in the morning and after all the ponies had breakfast, Celestia called her tacticians, as well as her commanders to a meeting. She asked Shining Armor’s group to choose a non pony representative, as well as an Element of Harmony to be there. To no surprise Twilight offered for the job, as did Zero.
“At this rate,” Began commander Storm Chaser. “We should be getting to the splitting point by nightfall.”
“Splitting point?” Asked Shining Armor.
“The Dawn Warriors and your group will split from the main army to accomplish your individual objectives.” Said Bright Fire, a Brown coated unicorn stallion with a bright orange mane.
“I don’t understand.” Said Twilight. “Why should we split up?”
“We won’t be able to reach the enemy’s fortress if we try to advance through the battlefield, so we must move on our own.” Answered Zero. “This way we will also move faster than following the whole army.”
“According to the Wonderbolts,” Began Princess Celestia. “The changeling army has recruited Harpies, Minotaurs and even Cyclopes and Hydras from Tartarus. They have but opened a small gap on the gates as of now, so only a few number of creatures can get out, but if this continue we will be facing an army that won’t be able to be stopped.”
“Don’t worry princess,” Reassured the earth pony known as Siegfried. “My team and I will make sure that those gates remain closed.”
“Braveheart has already been briefed of your mission and will join you after he finishes his current mission.” Said Luna, earning a nod from Siegfried. “Unless he succeeds on convincing the Griffon Kingdom to help us, we are going to be facing an army almost three times bigger than ours.”
“I’m sure the young lad will make it,” reassured Fancy Pants. “As of now I think we should end this meeting if we hope to make it to the splitting point by sundown.” The unicorn earned some nods from all the ponies in the room, and the meeting ended.
After the meeting ended every pony resumed their duties, and the march carried onwards.
As the day passed the Elements of Harmony as well as Deadpool, Dante and Zero reunited.
“I’m glad we are all reunited again,” Said Twilight, a relaxed smile displayed on her face. “Zero and I just came from a meeting with the tacticians.”
“And?” Inquired Dante quirking an eyebrow. “What was so important that you needed to get us all together in such a rush?”
Twilight’s smile disappeared and was replaced by a stern look. “Tonight we are splitting from the equestrian army.”
“Huh? Weren’t we supposed ta’ remain with the army, till’ we arrived at the battleground?” inquired the honest Earth Pony.
“Yeah! I wanted to kick some changeling flanks before heading to the queen’s hive.” Said a pumped up Rainbow Dash as she bucked the air and did some aerial maneuvers around the group.
“It’s not our mission to do so.” Said Zero giving a cold look towards Rainbow Dash, her earlier fighting spirit gone as she touched the ground, and looked away from Zero muttering something. Giving no mind to what the pegasus was saying, Zero continued. “We are going to split into three teams.”
Everyone gave incredulous looks towards the red reploid as they marched with the rest of the army.
“Whoa!” Exclaimed Deadpool in his usual manic demeanor. “I know we don’t like each other very much, but we are like an order of tacos man,” Everyone looked at Deadpool trying to figure out what approach he was giving to Zero. “Be them of pork, beef or chicken. They always come in orders of three.”
“You know,” said the half demon. “I have to agree with Deadpool here. We are a team, no matter how odd a team we are, and as such we should stick together.”
“I umm… I agree with them.” Everyone turned as Fluttershy finally spoke, Zero’s cold gaze softened after hearing the voice so similar to the one of Iris. “We should travel together.”
The Maverick hunter sighed before he started explaining. “Sorry, but it will be safer for us to travel separately.” Zero then eyed both Dante and Deadpool. “You guys must surely know how much easier it is to infiltrate if we keep our numbers as low as possible.”
“It surely is,” Said Deadpool. “I remember this one time I had to infiltrate a complex with Taskmaster and some of his pupils.” The manic grin appeared below his mask as he continued. “One of the newbies tripped an alarm and we were found. Worst picnic I have ever gone, we didn’t even have a picnic basket.” Everyone stared blankly at Deadpool, except for Pinkie Pie who was comforting Deadpool promising a picnic basket for when they returned home.
“Okay then,” Said Dante. “I get the gist of it, but how do you propose we split? Surely you must have already thought of something.”
Zero nodded and everyone turned to see what he was about to say. “We will form three teams: the first one will consist of me, Twilight and Fluttershy.” Zero turned to meet eyes with the devil hunter, “Dante, you Applejack and Rarity will form team two.”
“Hold an apple pikkin’ minute over here.” Interrupted Applejack as she closed in on Zero. “Do ya really think it’s a really good idea to let those two together?” She pointed a discreet hoof to Deadpool, who was now giving a piggyback ride to Pinkie, the two of them were laughing uncontrollably.
“I trust that Deadpool will try to behave himself when the mission has commenced.” He then turned to the cyan pegasus. “Just to be sure Rainbow Dash, as well as Shining Armor will be traveling with them.”
“Okie dokie.” Said Deadpool and Pinkie Pie at the same time.
Dante approached Zero, and as discreet as possible said. “Are you sure this is a good idea?” he covered his left hand with his right one so none of the seven ponies could see who he was pointing at. “I don’t really wanna travel with…”
Deadpool heard what Dante was saying and happily chanted. “Skippy doesn’t like….” His chant was interrupted by the sound of metal swinging on the air, followed by the cutting sound that steel makes when it passes through flesh and bone.
Deadpool’s right arm fell to the floor; the cut was made at the height of the shoulder.
All the ponies nearby stopped to look at the scene, Deadpool was on his knees, his face shrouded by a shadow, Fluttershy and Rarity passed out almost immediately, Pinkie’s mane and tail deflated, and the remaining members stood witness of the events, their faces pale as snow.
Everyone was waiting for Deadpool to shriek in pain, followed by him passing out due to the loss of blood, but instead, what they got was. “Hey that was my good arm!”
With lightning speed Deadpool grabbed his loose limb and used as a flail to hit the back side of Dante’s knees making him fall to the ground.
Deadpool pounced on top of Dante and started to slap him with his loose arm in the face once for each word he said. “DON’T YOU KNOW HOW HARD IT IS TO MAKE A STITCH IN THAT SPOT?” Dante started to fight back, they rolled on the ground taking turns on who would be on the ground as they exchanged hits, a metallic rustle sound started, they suddenly stopped fighting as they heard an all too familiar charging noise. They turned their heads to see Zero glowing in an orange hue, his right arm transformed into his Z-Buster; his eyes covered by the shade of his helmet, but anger clearly shown in his facial expressions. The fighting duo splitted apart just in time to dodge the blast that came from Zero’s arm cannon, the energy bullet was almost as big as the reploid himself. It flew past the two red clad humans and collided with the wall of a nearby cliff. The shot made a hole in the rock that was almost 5 meters deep.
Every pony watching had dropped their jaw almost to ground level. Most of them had already witnessed Dante and Deadpool show off some of their skills during the journey, but no one had ever seen Zero display any kind of combat abilities up until now.
The pale gaze of the Elements of Harmony that hadn’t fainted kept staring between Zero, the hole in the wall and Deadpool and Dante. It didn’t take long until Dante and Deadpool started snickering, eventually bursting into laughs.
“Felling better Zero?” asked Dante after he recovered his breath.
“Yeah you had us worried for a moment there buddy.” Reassured Deadpool as he stood up and grabbed his arm from the ground. “It isn’t good to keep up all that stress inside.”
Zero stared blankly towards the two of them processing what had just happened. He released his left hand from his Z-Buster, and transformed it back to his right arm. He closed his eyes and smiled, his entire mood now changed. “So you mean to tell me you had all of this planned?” Zero closed in to Dante and helped him up. “Sometimes I forget you two aren’t total morons.”
“What the hell is wrong with you?” Asked Twilight, not sure if to feel angry or scared from the red trio. “you mean to tell me that you ripped Deadpool’s arm apart just to have Zero almost kill you and then you all act like nothing?” her left eye twitched as she concluded with a shout. “You are all crazy!”
“Chillax Twilight,” Started Deadpool in a calmed way, the bleeding on where his arm was supposed to be had already stopped. “As we told you when we arrived, we aren’t as fragile as regular humans.” Deadpool started to manipulate his loose arm to try to make it fit the junction. “I have watcha call a healing factor.”
As he said the last part he let go of his arm, most ponies were sure his arm would fall off, but instead the arm remained attached to the body as if nothing had ever happened, except for the ripped off suit that would have to be stitched together later.
“He’s not the only one,” Remarked Dante as he dusted his coat off. “I also got a healing factor, although not as strong as Deadpool’s.”
The soldier ponies that had stopped to see what had happened started to march forward, trying to catch up with the rest of the army, leaving only the group of ten behind. Soon after, Pinkie stopped sobbing and after making all three of their visitors to pinkie promise not to do something as hurtful as that again, she returned to her usual bubbly and carefree nature. Applejack and Rainbow Dash offered to carry Rarity and Fluttershy, until they woke up, and so Shining Armor took the lead of the group, Twilight tagging along, and Zero, Dante and Deadpool stayed on the rear.
Rarity and Fluttershy awoke after fifteen minutes since the group had resumed their walking. They were explained what had happened after the two of them had fainted. The ivory unicorn offered to repair Deadpool’s outfit once they had a chance. After some more time walking through the dirt road Zero finally spoke again, the warm smile that had appeared earlier on his face still present. “You guys win, we will travel together,” everyone’s attention was upon him. “But,” he began “if we ever need to split those will be our teams.” Needless to say, they all gave Zero a recomforting smile.
When night fell the army finally came to a stop, and after a generous dinner, the princesses watched as the two small teams departed each with their own objectives.
“Sister,” Began the Princess of the Night. “What if Chrysalis decided to send Ajax, Vergil and Sigma to the battlefield?”
“She won’t,” Reassured Celestia, as she watched the final glint of the golden armors that marched almost opposite ways.
“She knows that Dante, Deadpool and Zero will go hunt her down, and that no one in her ranks has the strength to stop them.”
“You really trust them don’t you sis?”
“Uh huh.” said Celestia as she slowly nodded. A small smile appeared on her muzzle.
“I have one more question sister,” said Luna, as she looked into Celestia’s deep magenta eyes. “Why did you choose Zero? From what I gathered Megaman X has more potential than him.”
“Maybe, Maybe not.” Retorted Celestia as she looked at the beautiful night sky. “Let’s just say that I chose him to honor an old friend’s last wish.”
