um... wow! about a day ago this story didn't even exist! and it has already reached my other story which has been up for a few months, i... i dont know what to say

but about how he sounds 'too modern', well, alot of characters in DS2 speak a bit modern, heck, i'm playing through NG+ and making sure to talk to everyone again so I can try and get them right if i decide to put them in this
although, i think i will try and put Sweet Shalquoir in it for the flirty giggles

plus, she is the only non-human/undead character that talks, I wanted someone from his past to coax him to do things. Although, i'm not sure if I could have gotten away with Shanalotte appearing instead
Okay, Dash running headlong into his shield was hilarious.
A fair good dark souls crossover with a character other than the dark brooder, good work.

I honestly made the True Monarch a bit like Solaire, because, what Warrior/Heir of Sunlight is not jolly and looking on the bright side of undeath? 
also, Dash hitting the shield was a spur of the moment thing, originally he was going to roll to the side and she was going to form a rut in the dirt

Yeah, I think I've read 2 total DS crossovers with Solaire and the better of the two played up his knightliness(is that a word?) more than his jovial personality.
Also, RD hitting something face-first because of her underestimating someone or something is always funny especially when she tries to shrug it of as "never happened".
4980730 I always felt that the better side of Solaire was his Jovial attitude. although I never got far in the first game, I am glad I watched so many lore videos, and Solaire is easily my most favorite knight styled character in any game
and with the RD thing, i'm more than likely going to make her say 'we never speak of this again' once she talks to the Monarch a bit more
it would be bad for her street rep if ponies knew she charged headfirst into a greatshield
The only thing I can say is that the last two paragraphs seem almost Out of Character. I expect someone like him to use extravagant words. Not "Hi". Or even use the Title "True Monarch" as a name. That was a perfect chance to give him an actual name.
5133728 he's eccentric. think Solaire but three times as much, plus, he is also a lover of titles, so his title sounded better in his head, also, expect lots of them when he meets Celestia, here is a small snippet of what I plan for said meeting
and possibly even more, don't wanna put a full list here
but still, amongst his fellow warriors and non-combatants, he is incredibly casual
