Yep! I've based a great deal of their culture on Korean culture in my stories. So it made sense.

Okay then, The Changeling in the Woods, I've finally got around to it.
All in all, this is a nicely done one-shot (focusing on changelings, that's always a plus). I've didn't extensively watch MASH, but I can definitely see (before your confirmation on DA) the inspiration you drew from it. I think this has to be one of the few stories you've written where it's a hands down sad/tragic ending, which is quite a differentiation from some of your usual works. I also have to give it praise that it primarily focuses on Twilight, a canon character as the main protagonist for once, as well as the use of medical knowledge which I will take your word on (since I don't have the foggiest idea of it).
My criticisms would have to be, once again, like a lot of other words, your reliance on CAPITALIZATION and emboldening for emphasis on certain words. They're not something I consider universally bad, but they can get distracting and somewhat unnecessary when not used sparingly.
But once again, over all, it's a well done short story and earns a thumbs up.

Yeah, unlike several other stories I've done I wanted this to feel honest, heartfelt and tragic. That despite everything Twilight did, sometimes it honestly just ISN'T enough and sometimes the good guys DON'T win. It looks like that message hit home.
Even the name of the changeling pup I wanted to give off an authentic feel since my Changelings are heavily influenced by Korean culture.

I'll definitely have other works that examine this Changeling culture. But I'm not sure I could really do a DIRECT sequel. It's kind of meant to be a vignette.

Though this is only a one-fic, it does manage to be written quite well.
I'm not suprised that the father is taking the death of his son well but what I am suprised is that Twilight is also handling quite same!
