Interesting story, I have not read to many Zelda crossovers, not a fan, so I can't give feedback on originality and such. Although, I do have suggestions on your writing.

4497943 Midna's returned to the twilight realm. In the game Link could communicate with animals in beast form, including Epona. The only things he couldn't communicate with in beast form were monsters and humans, just wanted to do something other than the usual mute Link.

I know this is nothing big but I noticed you used the " for links thoughts the " is usually used for dialog while ' seems to be used more for thoughts. as I said nothing big or anything just something that hit me is all
