A teacher and ancient brony who might have just a little too much time on his hands.

T

Loki stands on the verge of conquest. His enemies are scattered; their greatest weapons are powerless to stop him. Very soon the Tesseract will open the doorway to an alien army bent on overrunning the planet. Everything has fallen perfectly into place for Loki to bring humanity to its knees.

But when a twist of fate radically alters the events which unite the Avengers, the impending battle for Earth is cast into a little world, an equine world. Now a group of remarkable yet dysfunctional individuals must learn from six colorful ponies that the greatest of teams are forged by the power of their friendships.

Special thanks to a close friend of mine for his continued feedback and support. And many thanks to Lannakitty, my pre-reader.

Thank you for the kind words! I have every intention of continuing, so don't you fret! :raritywink:

There will be plenty of Bruce Banner to go around as the story progresses.

You've got Tony down. I'm not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing. I think it's a good thing but I'm not sure. What do you think? Good thing or bad thing?

This is awesome I knew it was going to be Tony or Thor

3924928

A good thing. Maybe. It really depends on whether he thinks he's hallucinating magical ponies.

3925605 Judging by his actions I'm going to guess he thinks he's hallucinating. Let's just hope he doesn't do something stupid like try to ride Princess Celestia or something. Oh right, this is Tony we're talking about. Of course he's gonna do something stupid.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. Why just why? Not Tony. Why Tony?:raritycry::fluttercry:. No really it's good so far and you should keep going.:heart::heart::heart:

3932549

Why Tony? Because he's mankind's best ambassador to all things magical and equine. Tony loves pony. Won't you love pony like Tony?

:pinkiegasp::pinkiehappy: Epic chapter great job more soon I hope!

Marvelous, excellent, stupendous, breathlessly executed chapter! I hyped to see more!
Fun fact: Cap. America likes apple pie. No seriously, it's on the Marvel wiki itself.

3961901

Being a kid from Brooklyn, I'm sure Cap loves baseball (RIP Brooklyn Dodgers), apple pie, hot dogs, and Chevrolet. If he can live with tofu dogs and chariots pulled by Pegasi, I'm sure he'll be happy enough in Equestria.

Thank you for your kind words! They are very much appreciated.

This is fun! Also, dat subtle cameo.

This? This right here, is AMAZINGLY good. Way above par when compared to most other stuff you can find out there right now with higher ratings. It's a crime this isn't higher on the list. More people needs to know about this.

Keep up the amazing work.

My goodness! That's some high praise! I'll do all I can to live up to the expectations I have apparently set so far for this story.

Thank you for your kind words!

I have read Coulson's dialect, and I must say I find it to be perfect.

Enjoyed the chapter. Though I surprised that the Timberwolves didn't go with a combined form for round two.

Keep going. Great work. Good pacing. All I want is more.

Coulson is one of my favorite characters to write for. Dry observational wit is often underappreciated.

4164085
The giant Timberwolf did cross my mind, but I ultimately eschewed it in favor of a simpler confrontation. (Imagine trying to scare off a thing of that size!) And while I normally do not like offering too many justifications outside of the text, my unofficial explanation is that the Timberwolves simply decided to rely on superior numbers. Perhaps a third round might have resulted in their taking a combined form?

4164345
And more you shall have! Thank you!

Of course Barton, even when everyone else is talking to the magical talking zebra, you go and say that you are hallucinating from Coulson's pills. Because, logics. :ajbemused:

"Mayhaps we drank juice of the Elder Toad."

Really enjoying this tale! Keep up the great work and eagerly awaiting further installments.

Much appreciated! I plan to try and have an update done in the near future (within the next week).

Cool I'd almost forgotten about this story, glad to see it continuing.
I liked Banner's characterization, very spot on.

I'll tell you what you're getting yourself into: a world of cutesy Technicolor insanity. So pretty much the same as usual.
:pinkiehappy:

4349361
Much appreciated! I apologize for the belated update. Things tend to move slower during the end of the semester. I try to maintain a pace of about one update per month.

4349508
I'm sure Banner would say that he has enough insanity in his life, even if it isn't pastel colored. :derpytongue2:

I think the meeting between Fluttershy and Hulk will be amazing. I can't wait to see how all this will play out.

I think you could write an excellent novelization of the movie.

This is by far the best action-based crossover I have come across.

Thumb and added to my recommendation group.

When is this gonna be updated??? :fluttercry:
More plz :scootangel:

4481796
Awesome! That just made my day.

4482338
I really, really do apologize for the delay. I've been extraordinarily busy these past two weeks, so sitting down with the proper time and energy for writing has proven difficult. I'll do all I can to make certain the next chapter is worth the wait.

As Iron Man ascended into the sky, an elderly man, wearing sunglasses, seated nearby, exclaimed in annoyance, “I knew I should have brought a camera!”

Obligatory Stan Lee cameo! :rainbowlaugh:

Oh boy. It had to be the CMC to find Banner. I worry about His sanity.

A Dragon! They are mistaking Iron Man for a dragon!? :rainbowhuh: How does Iron MAn even resemble a dragon?

4897140 I'm glad you caught it! :pinkiehappy:

4901500 Big, gold, red, and bipedal -- in that dark those might look a lot more like dragon features than they actually are. Once Iron Man starts thrashing about, though, it becomes clearer that he doesn't belong.

An Avengers-fic that got featured on EqD?
Well, that means I WILL have to read this. Honestly I would've wanted to anyways, <3 Avengers.

4980617
I guess I did something right, then.

Wooooo! Congrats on getting the EqD feature!

:facehoof:

A concept this ridiculous needs to be at the very least, heavy on the comedy.

Because it's far too ridiculous to take seriously.

Why does no one ever think to set the WOODEN WOLVES on fire?

Why is 1 + 1 = 2 so hard to figure out?

This has been annoying me ever since Spike, a fire-breathing dragon who sticks pins in himself and swims in lava, was afraid of being eaten by said log-like lupines.

4981888
Based on coloration the Timberwolves appear to be composed of living green wood. Living wood is actually highly fire resistant. That's why you hunt for dead wood that's been drying out for several days to start a campfire.

Although Spike has demonstrated that his flame is hot enough to nigh instantly melt a solid metal lock. So yes, he in particular has no excuse. Except perhaps that having been raised by ponies the concept of using his fire on living things is ingrained as so abhorrent it just never occurred to him. Especially since he was under stress at the time.
