Some time has passed since the Queen of Changelings was turned into a foal by a magical pond of water.
Shining is still suspicious towards the whole thing, but his heart has opened up and he now loves Crystal as his own. He suffering horrible nightmares where Chrysalis comes back and it turns out that she only tricked him.
Little Crystal is also suffering from nightmares. Her nightmare consists of a giant eyeball staring down at her and telling her things she can’t understand.
Now we follow the happy family in their struggle to find peace and simply live their lives as a happy family.
But something powerful is lurking in the shadows and that can only lead to more troubles.
This is a sequel to my story: Little Chrysalis. And some things might not make a whole lot of sense. So if you feel like it go read it. If not then just stay for the cute. Link to first story.
Really cool. A little darker than I usually like, but still really cool. Can't wait for more.

Hmmm, I can just see Crystal going through a growth spurt and regaining her old powers in time to protect her parents. that would be a good way to prove she's truly reformed, giving her all her old abilities back but she uses them for good instead of evil. Plus, you can just imagine Shining banging his head against the wall when his little girl decides it's time she wants to stay out late and keeps changing shapes to avoid him and stay up late.

That first part shocked the hay outta me
I think because of what chrysalis did before, shining was able to link with crystal's mind and shared her dream. She must have been scared as she watched herself from the inside as she attacked her daddy
The overmind might think it can control crystal again, but now she's a pony and has a loving mum and dad, her mind should have a strong resistance.
The only real error you made is that you keep calling shining and cadance king and queen, when they're prince and princess.
Other than that, great story and I look forward to more. When's twi gonna learn about her niece?
4172313 Well Cadence and Shinning are the current rulers if the Crystal empire. So in my head that makes them king and queen.
Twilight will find out eventually. Sadly this story is not my main priority at this time, but I'll get to it eventuality.
