Have you ever heard about the theory about how subatomic particles can pop into existence at random? Well, replace subatomic particles with updates and you have my writing style in a nutshell.

T

Shadowmere is a horse who has spent his entire life surrounded by murder and death. Then one day, after dying in Tamriel, he reawakens in a strange new world; the exact opposite of the world that he lives in. Everything is bright and colourful and the inhabitants are ponies who are always happy and friendly with each other. This world seems completely different from the one that he comes from. All of the ponies are cheerful, make friends easily and don't have any concept at all of things like murder and death. How will Shadowmere react to this new world? Will he find it to be completely ridiculous and want to leave this place as soon as possible; or will he find something that he never had before and want to stay? Will he even want to leave at all?

This story is now officially Cancelled; however, it is being continued by MLP OC SilverFang over on his fanfiction.net page. If you're interested in continuing with this story, head on over there to check it out.

"He"
Shadowmare is no stallion...
O well. I guess it's kind of like how that Kamille Biden's a guy when the name's feminine...

After all, the Dark Brotherhood never harmed the innocent, least of all children. LOL

2791354 Daedra don't have genders so he can be either. In Skyrim, Astrid alternates between calling he and she:rainbowlaugh:

umm i think you replied to the wrong guy. i didn't bring up shadowmere's gender that was planetarian.

I like this story, I'm going to put it in my read later so I can keep an eye on it. Though, there are a few suggestions I must make

1) The Dark Brotherhood DOES harm the innocent, whether it be child or not. It's not one of the five tenants not to do that. In fact, there's an orc (can't remember his name) in the chedyinhal sanctuary that actually says that he killed a child on her birthday. I would replace that sentence with something else like "It's not like there's a rule against helping others occasionally"

2)

He was just lying there on the ground. She then walked over to him to get a closer look at him. He was just lying there.

Repetition man, I would take that out if I were you.

3) A few grammatical errors, maybe read it again and try to fix those.

Overall this does have potential, I hope you won't disappoint.

2791872 Sorry about that:derpyderp1: I just don't know what went wrong

No problem man. Hopefully your story goes far. Welp have a nice day and good luck with your writing.

I can definitely see Celestia knowing what an assassin is... leading to a confrontation between her and Shadowmere, possibly only diffused by one of the mane 6.
I can also see Shadowmere killing somepony/one who threatens his new friends (perhaps Gilda has connections?) and driving a wedge between him and the them
Finally, I can see somepony (possibly Twilight) discovering that Shadowmere is a Daedra and (despite not knowing about Tamriel) knowing what one is.

...That's all I got.

I hope this story gets updated soon.

Wait, wasn't Shadowmere referred to as female in Oblivion? On that note, what is Shadowmere's gender anyway? I know you refer to Shadowmere as a 'he'... but still. :derpytongue2:

Also, update please? :fluttershysad:

Gilda was so afraid that she struggled to speak. “Wh-wh-what are you?”

I am Shadowmere. *shwing*
