Rainbow Dash is suffering from complications during the birth of her second child. She is going through extreme amounts of pain, and her body threatens to shut itself down. A nurse came up to Twilight and Soarin' and told them both that she is probably going to die, and Scootaloo happened to listen in. Now with a time limit on Rainbow Dash's head, Twilight rushes to find some way of saving Rainbow Dash while Soarin' attempts to help his wife as much as he can. But Twilight must hurry before it is too late.
Meanwhile with the prospect of Rainbow Dash's death over her head, Scootaloo ends up rethinking just what the ponies that are close to her truly mean in her life.

2606616 Ok so here is how it works. The Cool Breeze in this chapter came from a future where Rainbow Dash died during childbirth. So he came back and intervened in time in order to save her life. So Rainbow Dash is alive and well. She will continue on living with her two healthy children (though that is debatable with Corona Flare) and a The Truth from a Parent is actually written after this fic where as you can see, Rainbow Dash is alive.
However, the Cool Breeze of this chapter does not belong in a future where Rainbow Dash survives, so when he and Time Heart head back to the future, it will be his future where Rainbow Dash did die. And there is nothing he can do to change that.
This time traveling stuff still doesnt make sence to me at all, but great chapter.

Is it normal that I went partially insane after reading this chapter? Because I was shaking uncontrollably and had to splash water on my face several times to shake myself out of this. I literally was pacing back and forth for like 5 minutes before I sat down again.
Very impressive that this was able to do this to me, because this was the first time I've experienced this happen to me.

Ok this was good. But there is a few things I dislike
Nurse appearing during the speaking of two characters cliche, Twilight is the only one of the six who gives a single sight of worry,depression and shock, whiel the others are just, eh it'll be fixed, YOUR FRIEND IS DIEING DUMBASSES AT LEAST LOOK WORRIED OR SCARED, DONT JUST SHRUG IT OFF! Mysterious Character cliche, Magical Macguffins can deliver babies, what. Main character dies but comes back to life for a second to help them be alive cliche.
I know "different universe" and all, but wouldn't they have something similar to a C-Section they could perform? It's surprising to think that they wouldn't given how advanced they are in other areas...
Just looking at the two paragraphs makes me cringe. One says Twilight is an alicorn while the other states that she's a unicorn. Please look it over again. Just saying.

But even still, they have magic. And the tech level is a mish-mash of way too many time periods to count. Like they have those old-school record players and steam engines, but also refrigerators and DJPon3's speaker system.
