Bow Hot Hoof and Windy Whistles may have finally patched things up with their daughter, but Rainbow Dash isn't the only Wonderbolt who has some grievances to address with them.

Spitfire, the young Wonderbolts captain, decides she needs to address a few concerns she has with Dash's parents and their excessive fanpoyism. Both at shows and at events.

But Bow and Windy will be quite surprised not just at Spitfire's words, but at her own experiences. After all, this isn't the first time the Wonderbolts have dealt with a family problem.

Rainbow Dash knows her parents are proud of her. She also knows they take it way too far way too often; it's why she doesn't like to visit.
So when she shows up with the mother of all announcements to make, she's prepared for the mother of all freakouts. She's planned for it.

What she hasn't planned for is what comes after all that.

Wait. Everypony keeps telling the filly to wait. So she's too young for real flight? Every pegasus goes through that! And they all had to wait, and even her parents say she has to be patient -- but it's been an Actual Lifetime and Rainbow's sick of waiting. So her parents have brought her to ground level, because that's where she'll go on the ride which lets her pretend to be doing it. But what good is pretending when it leaves her still having to wait?

Rainbow Dash has been overwhelmed lately. So she goes to the place where she feels safe- home.

It was an average day, Zipp was out practicing her parkour skills when she happened to come across a pretty cool-looking stone. That stone's previous owner was one very special pony... a pony who once was, but now is.

The road to Rainbow Dash's birth was paved with hardship and loss. But in the end, Windy Whistles was grateful for every moment, because it led her to the biggest miracle of her life.

Sometimes, cosmic beings of unknown power just like to provide people with those second chances one such person thought impossible. Why? Who knows? All she does know is that she's now a small blue pony with wings.

A very young blue filly at that, and one who has to deal with the scars of her secret old life while living under the shadow of an older sister who doesn't know what to make of her.
