For Discord, causing chaos is not a hobby or even his job. It is what he does. So when Tirek offered him an excuse to cut loose from harmony and friendship, only to be rebuffed, Discord went against his very nature. For a spirit like him, this is similar to willingly poisoning himself.

When Starlight Glimmer tricked Twilight Sparkle into freezing a filly Rainbow Dash in crystal, the sonic rainboom was prevented. This sent a wave of chaos through the timesteam as destiny unraveled, and empowered Discord. He is quite curious as to who exactly was evil enough to cast a potentially lethal spell at a filly.

Being a god's friend comes with certain benefits. Being a god's only friend comes with massive cost.

This story is the unholy spawn of my imagination, a TV Tropes Fridge Horror entry, and "I Have No Mouth, and I Must Scream" by Harlan Ellison. Rated "Teen" to be on the safe side. Criticism is welcomed.

The time for reckoning has come. After nearly a thousand years of avoidance and dread, Discord's fate is sealed in what is surely his end. Can the Spirit of Chaos and Disharmony possibly survive what is most likely his certain doom? Or will the perils be too great for him to manage?

All he knows is that minty fresh breath will be the least of his worries.

Intrigued by the anonymous love letter he has received, Discord decides to write back. And just to have fun, he sends a copy to every inhabitant of Ponyville.

Written for the November 2015 Writeoff Association contest, "Out of Time," this story took 16th place.

Her house is in the northeast section of Ponyville, near the Whitetail Woods, and she is not married. She takes care of dozens of animals, both pets and wild critters, and she gets home every day by 8 PM at the latest. She is always in bed by 11 PM, and makes sure to get eight hours of sleep, no matter what. After having a glass of warm milk and doing about twenty minutes of stretches before going to bed, she usually has no problems sleeping until morning. Just like a foal, she wakes up without any fatigue or stress in the morning.

Fluttershy is a pony who wishes to live a very quiet life. She takes care of others with simple needs and makes sure that they're content, living vicariously through their own joy. That is how she deals with society, and she knows that is what brings her happiness.

Although, if she were to fight she wouldn't lose to anypony.

This story is an entry in Aragon's Comedy (is Serious Business) contest, with the prompt "We Learned Something, Unfortunately".

The ponies have had it with Discord's pranks, and when they all wish he no longer has his magic, under unexpected circumstances, it comes true. It's a relieving occasion for the ponies--up until Discord falls deathly ill. Ridden with grief at their selfish wish, the ponies venture off on a small journey to save Discord's life, and recover the draconequus's magic from the beast that's keeping it hostage. The clock is ticking, and through their small journey, they learn that the price of chaos was nothing to pay in comparison to losing someone they love.

Based off the events of "Broken Spirit", and you must at least understand the plot to understand this fic.
