You are a unicorn stallion, making preparations for a Hearth's Warming celebration with the Apple Family, when you come across an old acquaintance. As it would turn out your friend, Amble Barb is in Ponyville, visiting family and decides to invite you to come along.

What sort of holiday fun will you and Amble get into? Let's find out.

There is actually another story in the series, that was meant to be released before this one, however due to certain circumstances I had to save it for another time. Now that shouldn't affect the enjoyment of this story, but still I thought I would mention it. When I release that story, I will include a link to it here and vice versa. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Fortunately, if you have read my story, All Eyes on You, then you will know most of what is really necessary to know to enjoy this story... I think.

Told from the perspective of the reader listening to Applejack describe the depth of her brother's character by relating a story about how he resolved a conflict between the Apple family and the family of Applebloom's first coltfriend.

The birth of a new life is a miracle of nature. Every mare and her family have their own harrowing tales of a birth in their family... Almost everypony gets their word in regarding their feelings regarding the events following such an event; everypony except for the foal. When Apple Bloom gives birth to a lively baby filly, she's delighted to have a foal to call her own. Alongside a proud father and her siblings, she couldn't be more happy. This isn't the pony-tale of a happy mother, though. Instead this is a blind, innocent newfoal's tale to tell.

Granny Smith is more than an old coot living with her grandchildren. She's seen the birth of the frontier, the life of Ponyville from it's very beginning. She's seen more love and loss than most ponies can really imagine. She's upheld her family values and traditions for her entire life, and watched as her family grew and prospered.

Yes, it's been a good life, and she sure is going to miss it.

Diamond Tiara goes too far and gets caught, now the Cutiemark Crusaders hold her fate in their hooves. Silver Spoon argues for leniency telling the story of how they met and of how they received their cutiemarks.

It'll be under thirty thousand words when it's done, four chapters over two or three weeks.

A lonely little colt without a friend to his name is approached by a filly. The two find something truly special within each other.

It's Applebloom's favorite time of the year, the day she gets to plan out the yearly Apple Family Reunion with her big sister Applejack!.. although this year's has a twist. As it turns out, the Apples have an old branch of the family out in Hollow Shades who have never been invited, the mysterious Blood Oranges...

Not knowing why they were excluded for all these years, Applebloom invites them to the reunion and the Blood Oranges are more than happy to meet the family they never knew they had... but how will that family react when a group of bat ponies show up? Only time will tell…

The Dazzlings are caught in a fearsome blizzard while dealing with a terrible illness. They try to reach their house, but the harsh elements and poor health cause them to faint in the snow.

It would have been the end of their story. But fate had other plans, which involved people that, under normal circumstances, they would have avoided as much as possible.
