Though Sombra has been destroyed, a fragment of his mind remains... with no memory of his time as the Black King. For a time he resided in Twilight's mind, but now he is free with his body restored to him. A second chance at life has been given to him, and he intends to make the most of it... but it remains to be seen what fate will deal to him.

I did some things I regret in my life, both as a pony and as a human. They're mistakes that will probably leave traces in some form for the rest of my life.

EDIT: While this was initially started as just a quick thing I wrote for the Equestria Daily Friend Off that I threw together at the last minute, I have now decided to improve on and expand it.

At chapter 10 of Past Sins, Princess Celestia brought Nyx to Canterlot almost by force(?) and Nyx became Nightmare Moon. What if Twilight went to Canterlot with Nyx? Will it change? Well, find that out on 'Past sins: What If......'

Like in the series, Twilight Sparkle didn't care about making any new friends. Yet, she met the five colts who would improve her life, bringing confusion, friendship, love, and frustration into it. What adventures await Twilight and her newfound friends? Only time will tell.

The news had shocked the entire nation. Anger, violence, and even threats of war have erupted in the colony on the borders of the harsh Frozen North, all of it centered around the infamous city of Gueldergrad. If Equestria is to put an end to the chaos before it escalates, somepony must venture into the foreign lands and set things right.
