One day, he gave her a rose, and it was very beautiful.
Vinyl takes a walk after the wedding before returning home to her roommate, Octavia.
A lovely individual chose to translate this to Spanish! I can't read a lick of it myself, but if anyone would prefer that, the link is here: https://www.deviantart.com/spaniard-kiwi/art/No-es-como-si-estuviera-sorda-970424886
Roseluck grows some of the best flowers, and with her special talent coming up roses, pardon the pun, she always has her most work right around Hearts and Hooves day. And she can't stand the amount of work she puts into a holiday when she doesn't even have a special somepony herself.
Cheerilee can put a happy spin on just about any topic, and teaches her students with joy and enthusiasm. But being faced with a classroom full of happy crushes and romantic blooms when you're still not able to find your own special somepony cuts straight to the heart.
As the two seek the solace of other ponies lacking special someponies, feelings are talked about.
(Random Romance/Feb2014, includes some completely random background ships as side mentions)
"Her thorns dragged holes deeper into her soul. She was irreparable. They would never know of her pain. They would never understand her depression. Her life was a void of solitude and imperfections. She was alone, except for her thorns."
Depression is an internal struggle Roseluck is forced to experience, but her misery is reflected in the one thing that makes her life meaningful. Now, all that is left of her is emptiness and despair, and she cannot force herself to live like that.
-"The story was phenomenal. I loved it." -Ectopulse
-"This story was like a rose: beautiful yet sharp... The story is simple, but the theme carries throughout everything said without getting overstated. Bravo." -Garbo802

You know, there are nights in which you will get eight full hours of restful sleep, and there are nights in which you will be awoken by a sentient beige earth pony planting roses in your front lawn.
What kind of night do you think this story is about?
Sequel to Those Moments.

It wasn't that Roseluck was struggling in the monetary sense. In fact, given a recent boom at the florist she co-owned with Lily Valley, which included the onboarding of several new shift staff, she suddenly found herself with an excess of free time.
She reasoned that given her aptitude for helping plants to flourish, she could easily apply the same love and care to the pets of her fellow townsfolk. Thus, she opted to advertise part time petsitting services with a note in the window of Quills & Sofas.
Her first letter of reply... was unusual, to put it lightly.

In Ponyville's local flower shop, three ponies were looking forward to a nice relaxing day going through their orders and sales. This was going to be a good relaxing morning. However, this is Ponyville, where anything big and small can happen.
In the winter, there isn't much green in Ponyville.

Roseluck is an Alicorn now, and she really wants Twilight's advice on the subject.
