Tree Hugger, some called her a eco-warrior, an environmentalist, and a high hippie. But they did not know the real Tree Hugger, a girl who risked life and limb for the preservation of animals and nature.

And Every 10 years a mare is chosen to live with the Lord, Fluttershy is one of the few in the small side of Equestria that has been born under the year of Chaos, when she finds herself of age to be selected will she be chosen? or are there bigger things to fear than that of the rumoured immortal and powerful beast that protects the valley and looks to restore peace in Equestria.

Equestria has changed as much as it has stayed the same. The ponies, while having adopted a new dialect, were as recognizable to Starswirl as they'd ever been. However, the world had spawned new traditions, inventions, foods, more creativity than he could imagine.

Apparently, to this chagrin, a mare was going to show him all of this and a little bit of everything else.

Posey wishes to learn more about her and Izzy has a traditional unicorn ritual for this situation! It involves drugs. By entering a plane of higher consciousness, Posey reaches across time to meet the Smiling Mare, but will she like what she sees?

Written for May Pairings Contest 2022. The pair in question is Posey and Tree Hugger (non-romantic).

I'm not fully satisfied by this story, but I wanted to publish it before Make Your Mark came out and potentially contradicted how Posey is presented here. The story was conceptualized before we knew she would be a major character in that, but I did try to incorporate what we've seen in clips of her personality.

Humans don't have (as much) magic as ponies, so they get their psychedelic kicks in... other ways. Fluttershy's friend Tree Hugger has procured a substantial amount of one such way of getting one's kicks. Twilight's about to blast off.

Rated Teen for drug use. Duh. Do not attempt to consume DMT without the guidance of someone who knows what they're doing. Not because it's particularly dangerous, but because it's easy to mess up and waste 40 dollars of DMT.
