This post was added to someone's bookshelf about "Human x Anthro" but I must say, there is absolutely no anthro ponies in this story, it may be an alternate universe but there are no humanised ponies.

Although Discord is anthro if you consider him in the story, he is explained why he is anthro in my Slade - Origins prequel story.

The idea of him comes from Methodia, meaning methods or strategies, and he has been honing these methods for millennia. HE, himself, masquerades as a pony of light. He doesn't attack their weaknesses so much as their strengths. He gets them to rely on their own talents or giftedness instead of on SHE who gave it to them...

Felix has had a plan to take over the world for a long time but he isn't stupid.So he waits then, the opportunity to do so arrives and he waste no time putting a plan together and playing his hand.
