> Event Horizon > by FandomPlays1234 > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- > Prologue: Crescent > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- The stars above Alola's night sky was glistening like beautiful diamonds as Crescent flew over Ula Ula Island. She smiled recalling the times when Radiant and Prism were admiring her like the night sky. It was weird, how Prism stayed cheerful even though he was suffering. Crescent wanted to find a way to help her brother since she looked up to him so much. She loved her brothers as much as they loved her and she was happy. That is until Prism disappeared two weeks ago. Neither of them knew where he had gone off to, but they both agreed that he might have been in danger. Of course Radiant offered to go with her when she mentioned that she would go search for Prism alone, but she demanded that he stayed behind. It was true she was old enough to take care of herself, but was that really the reason why she'd left Radiant behind. "Radiant I'm sorry," she said as a tear rolled down her cheek. It was true she wanted to prove to her brother that she was strong enough, but perhaps that wasn't the reason why Radiant tried to stop her. Maybe it was because that her motherly figure would come in play during the search and that it would only act as her disadvantage. But she couldn't help it, she loved every living thing so much that she can't leave them to suffer. Perhaps Prism was right, that she was becoming like Lusamine and Lillie, but she didn't care. She came to a stop in front of Mt. Lanakila and raised her wings until they touched. She let out one finally sigh as she let loose her Moongeist Beam right above the Pokemon League to summon an Ultra Wormhole. Looking back at the night sky, Crescent wiped away the tear rolling down her cheek before letting out a screech and flying into the Wormhole, leaving not a single trace of her presence behind. Crescent zoomed through the Wormhole until she flew into the open Ultra Space and continued forward, collecting orange rings and avoiding the electrifying orbs. "Hang in there Prism, I'm coming for you," said Crescent as she flew. She flew for what seemed for another 200 light years when she noticed something in the distance. A certain area of Ultra Space was completely dark. She stopped short and noticed the space around grow dark. "Wha, what's going on?" she stuttered. That's when she realized that the orange rings and electrifying orbs had vanished. All the wormholes around her was suddenly crawling with some sort of black energy. She looked around herself to see nothing but darkness. "What's happening?" she asked. That's when she heard a sinister laugh echo around her. "Heh, heh, you," a voice whispered. "Wha, who's there?" asked Crescent. "Behind...... you......." it groaned. Confused, Crescent turned around to see two tears behind her. Her eyes widened and gasped to see black and red energy flowing inside the tears. But the scary part was the fact that shadows of familiar faces was floating around. Shadows from Professor Kukui, Sun, Moon, Lusamine, Lillie, the Ultra Recon Squad, The trial captains, Gladion, Guzma, even Radiant and Prism. "No.... what?" she whimpered. Suddenly two purple orbs appeared inside the tears. "You....." the voice moaned. Crescent turned around to find the voice's origins. "Who are you, what do you want with me!?" Crescent screamed. "P..Pr...Prism......" the voice responded. "Prism?" whimpered Crescent. "WHAT HAVE YOU DONE WITH MY BROTHER!?" Crescent screamed. This time the voice didn't respond. Instead a same sinister laughter echoed as a Wormhole suddenly appeared behind her. But something was wrong. This wormhole was bigger than all the others, and it was black. When Crescent suddenly began moving towards the wormhole, she realized that she was being sucked in. She yelped and turned around trying to escape but the current was too strong and was easily overpowering her. "Guh, have....to....get.....away," she winced. Suddenly something struck her in the chest sending a blast of pain running through her entire body. She started flapping her wings again and winced. "Ow," She screamed in pain when another object struck her in the same area. Before she knew it she was lost all her strength and was sucked into the black Wormhole. Her limp body fell deeper into the Wormhole as the sinister laughter grew distant. Tempest walked down the path of Canterlot, slowly making her way to Celestia's castle. She had been excited for this day. Twilight had invited her to the next Gala and she had been practicing her dance moves for the annual dance off that the ponies held during the Gala. As walked up to the guards, she held up her ticket that Twilight had sent her and the guards immediately moved out of the way to let her through the gates. "Thank you boys," said Tempest walking towards the castle. "Tempest you made it!" a voice called out. Tempest turned around to see Twilight running up to her with a big grin on her face. "Of course, i wouldn't miss this for you," laughed Tempest. "Come on every pony's waiting," said Twilight grabbing her friend by the hoof. Twilight lead her friend through the castle to where all the guests were. "Hey girls she's here!" Twilight announced as she ran out onto the garden. So far only the only one's in the garden was Twilight's friends, and the Princesses and a couple of guests here and there. "Hi everypony," said Tempest waving her hoof. All of Twilight's friends and princesses ran over to greet Tempest with smiles. "Glad you could make it Tempest," said Celestia. "It's a honor to meet you your majesty," bowed Tempest. "Well now that Tempest is here, let's get this party started!!!" Pinkie squealed. Everypony cheered agreeing with Pinkie's statement and ran out to eat, drink, dance, laugh, and chat. This had been Tempest's first party so she never understood how much fun she would experience, this was the most fun she's ever had. The party went on for a while until somepony ran up to the microphone to announce something. "All right everypony, it's that time of the year again, our annual dance off!!!" the pony announced. Everypony around the garden cheered. But before anypony could step up, the ground began to shake causing everypony to go silent. Once everything had calmed down the talking started up again. "What was that?" asked Fluttershy. "I don't know maybe a dragon?" asked Spike. "Spike I don't think there's any dragon big enough to cause the ground to shake near here," said Twilight. "Hey was that always there?" asked Rainbow pointing at the sky. Everypony looked up to see a largo black tear in the sky. "Is that a tear in the sky?" asked Rarity. "It seems like it," answered Luna. Suddenly the tear flashed in a black light as it grew into a massive hole. 'What in sam hills!?" asked Applejack. Just then a small black object came towards them at full speed leaving a black trail behind it like a comet. "It's coming towards us!" said Cadence. "Everypony run!" screamed Pinkie. The group split just in time for the object to crash into the garden. Once the dust cleared the group walked over to find something shocking. It was a pony, a mare to be more specific, that looked similar to Princess Luna. Although the pony was an alicorn, it's wings was that of a bat pony's. Small yellow stars were attached on the pointed tips of the wings and the alicorn had a crescent moon feature around it's neck. It's muzzle was white but it's forehead was glowing in a blue color like a night sky. It's cutie mark was a two blue crescent moons pointing inwards with a blue circle in between. The mane and tail was similar to Luna's. "What is this?" asked Spike. "It looks like a pony," said Fluttershy. "Not just anypony, it's an alicorn, look horns and wings!" exclaimed Twilight pointing at the pony's horns and wings. The mare groaned and opened it's eyes. The red tint glowing brightly in the sun. "It's awake," said Applejack. The mare sat up and place her hoof against her forehead and winced. "Ow," she said. "She talks, said Pinkie. "Whoa what a surprise," said Rainbow sarcastically rolling her eyes. The mare looked over to the group for a while before yelping and jumping up to her hoofs. "Who, who are you where is this place?" she asked pointing her horn at Twilight and her friends. "Whoa watch where you're pointing that horn," said Rainbow. "Horn, what horn, I don't have no horn," said the mare. "What are you talking about, it's right there darling," said Rarity pointing to her forehead. "What?" asked the mare reaching up. She stopped and looked at her hooves and screamed. "Wha... WHAT HAPPENED TO ME!!!???" she screamed. "Whoa calm down there buddy," said Rainbow. "How can I calm down, I have to find my brother!" screamed the mare. She turned around and tried to run, ignoring Twilight's voice calling out to her. But before she could get to the door, she winced and fell to her knees. "Whoa hey there sugarcube, y'all hurt don't push yerself," said Applejack running over to the mare. "But I need to..." she gasped putting her hoofs over her chest. Suddenly a sinister laughter began to fill the entire garden. The group looked up towards the sky where the giant black hole was. Once again the hole flashed and black energy began to pour out and stretched out across the sky. "You....." a voice moaned. "Wha, who said that?" asked Pinkie. "Darkness....... swallow........world.....shadows......." the voice moaned again. The sinister laughter began again just as two tears appeared above the the black hole. Both tears had red and black energy floating around on the inside with shadows of figures the group has never seen before could be seen. Two purple orbs suddenly appeared in the tears and the voice spoke up again. "Prism......you......Equestria......everyone........must......." the voice stopped for a while, however it almost seemed like the voice was hesitating before it went silent. "What was that all about?" asked Rainbow. "I don't know," answered Tempest. "DIE!!!!!!!!" the voice roared making everyone jump. "Die?" whimpered Fluttershy. Just then streams of black energy flew out and struck the garden and into the castle like meteors. Guests ran around screaming and panicking as more and more black energy came crashing down on Celestia's castle and Canterlot. "What the hay!?" screamed Rainbow. "Twilight get everypony inside!" Celestia ordered. Twilight and her friends began rounding up and herding them inside before a loud howl grabbed their attention. "What in Equestria?" asked Cadence. When the group turned around a large gust of wind started blowing in the other direction towards the black hole. The ground began to shake as the chunk of land that Canterlot and the Castle was on suddenly was ripped out of the ground. Panicked guests ran in trying not to get sucked up while Twilight and her friends ran around trying to calm everypony. Just as most of the guest were in, the hole began to pluck guests out of the castle one by one and suck them up. "Princess it's no use!" Twilight yelled over the loud howling. "Keep trying don't give up!" Celestia yelled back. But before Twilight could respond Pinkie was sent flying towards the black hole, followed by Rainbow, Fluttershy, Applejack, Cadence, Luna, Applejack, and Celestia. "Twilight what do we do?" asked Tempest. "Not we, you!" screamed Twilight. "What?" asked Tempest. Suddenly Twilight picked up Tempest and the mare with her magic as she nodded. "Wait Twilight what are you..." asked Tempest. "Tempest be careful!" Twilight yelled. "Wait Twilight don't do it!" Tempest yelled back at her. Twilight then threw both Tempest and the mare off the floating piece of land and sent them falling back into Equestria. A tear rolled down her cheek as Twilight was sucked into the black hole. Both Tempest and the mare fell for a while before they hit the ground, then everything went black. > Chapter 1: The Menace > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Crescent groaned as she got to her feet. Looking around she found herself on the ground next to the pony she was thrown off with. When she looked up she gasped to find that the entire sky had turned completely black. It was as if night had taken place but instead no stars were visible and she could clearly see the buildings in the distance without any sunlight. She looked around but no other ponies seemed to be nearby. She had to find some help, but she couldn't just leave this pony here. Crescent groaned and walked over to the pony and began shaking her. "Wake up, wake up oh come on wake up!" she pleaded. The pony winced as she slowly sat up. "Ow my head," said the pony. "Oh thank Arceus you're awake," sighed Crescent. The pony looked over and yelped. "Hey whoa calm down I'm not gonna hurt you," The pony slowly but surely inched back towards Crescent. "Oh no you're hurt," gasped Crescent. "What I'm not bleeding or anything am I?" asked the mare. "No, I mean I don't think so, you have a broken horn that's all," answered Crescent. "Oh that, don't worry about, that's from a little while back," said the mare. "I see," said Crescent. "Well if you're well then I guess that's fine," "Yeah for now," said the pony. "Who are you anyway?" "My name is Crescent, I'm technically a Lunala from the Pokemon World but I guess I ended up here in this form," answered Crescent. But the pony just stared at her as if she was talking in a foreign language. "Alright let me explain," said Crescent sighing. For the next few minutes Crescent explained to the pony about who she was, where she was from, who she was looking for etc. "Look I know this is a lot to take in but I know that if you stick with me for the time being, you'll get used to being around me," said Crescent. "Well I don't like how this is going but I guess I have no choice," said the mare. "Sorry I can't do more for you," apologized Crescent. "It's not you're fault, some things can't be helped," said the mare. "By the way, you never introduced yourself," said Crescent. "Oh right, I'm Tempest, Tempest Shadow," said the mare. "Tempest, sounds cool," said Crescent. "Thanks," said Tempest. The two sat and laughed for a while before they pulled themselves back together. "So you said you were looking for your brother, maybe if you would like I can help you out," said Tempest. "Really you mean it?" asked Crescent. "Well I mean we're stuck with each other so," said Tempest. "Oh wow thank you, and maybe I can help get you're friends back," said Crescent. "That'll be great," said Tempest. The two froze when they heard a quiet moan from somewhere. "What was that?" asked Crescent. The moan came again but this time louder. "That sounded like it came from over the hill," said Tempest. "Should we check it out?" asked Crescent. Tempest nodded as she led Crescent over to the hill. When they got to the top they noticed a stallion on the ground covered in bruises and cuts. He was squirming on the ground moaning loudly as if he had a stomach ache. "Oh no that poor pony," gasped Crescent. "Wait something doesn't look right, let me handle this," said Tempest stopping her. She slowly walked over to the stallion to check on his condition. As she got closer the moaning got louder until it was clear he was in pain. "Hey are you ok sir?" asked Tempest. the stallion didn't answer but kept moaning until his body stopped squirming and lay still. "Sir?" asked Tempest as she inched closer. Suddenly his body shot up making Tempest freeze in place. The stallion slowly turned around to face Tempest. Tempest feeling uneasy slowly backed away and up the hill. "Tempest is everything alright?" asked Crescent. "Crescent you might wanna run," said Tempest. Just as Crescent layed her eyes on what Tempest saw, she instantly felt chills run up her back. The stallion was not only bruised and cut in multiple places, but he was also staring at the two with deep hollow eye sockets and a wide demonic grin with sharp teeth. Crescent began to back away and was just about to turn around, when the stallion pointed his hoof at them and let out a high pitched blood curdling screech as it jumped up and ran towards them. The two yelped and began running back where they came from with the stallion in high pursuit. Just as Crescent thought they could escape, she tripped over a rock and fell. "Crescent!" Tempest called out turning around. Crescent turned around to see the stallion had already caught up with them. Whimpering Crescent covered her face with her hooves as she waited for her demise. If Tempest was fast enough she would be able to save Crescent, but she saw how fast the stallion was. She would never make it. Tempest clenched her teeth trying to figure something out when suddenly a loud bang echoed throughout the area and a a sudden recoil sending the stallion flying back. "What?" asked Tempest. Crescent opened her eyes to see she was still alive. She scrambled to her feet and ran over to Tempest. "What happened?" asked Crescent. "Careful now ladies, don't wanna let down your guard just yet," a voice spoke up. The two turned around to see a human standing there wearing a brown vest with brown pants and cowboy boots. He had a stetson hat like the one Applejack wore and gloves. He had a piece of wheat in his mouth while twirling an old western revolver. "Tch those things have been giving me all sorts of trouble since I got here," said the human. "Um sorry who are you?" asked Tempest? The human twirled his revolver and shoved it back into it's holster. "The name's Elliot, I may be a human but I'm actually a Vision," answered the human. "Uh huh, well thanks for saving us there Elliot," said Crescent. "No need to thank me, I'm just doing my job," said Elliot. "Your job?" asked Tempest. "Like I said, I'm a Vision," answered Elliot. "Vision, you mean like a dream or trance?" asked Crescent. "Not exactly," said Elliot. He was about to answer when more groaning could be heard coming towards them. "Tch damn that gunshot must've attracted more of Menace," grunted Elliot. "What?" asked Crescent. "Look I'll explain everything later, right now we can't stay here," said Elliot. "Well ok that's reasonable, but where do we go?" asked Tempest. "Follow me," said Elliot running down the hill towards the village. Tempest and Crescent didn't waste anytime in running after him. Along the way they had to stop couple of times in order to keep themselves from dragging attention to themselves before they finally ducked into the sugarcube corner where the cakes were waiting for them. They had their windows and doors all boarded so that the outside world was blocked and once the three ran inside they immediately locked the doors behind them. The three took a seat while both of the cakes gave them tea and deserts. "So what exactly happened back there?" asked Crescent as Elliot was polishing his revolver. "Yeah what was that thing that attacked us?" asked Tempest. "A Menace," answered Elliot. "A what?" asked Tempest. "A Menace," Elliot repeated. "They're a supernatural entity that are forced to live in the Event Horizon for eternal damnation after death," he added. "Event Horizon?" asked Crescent. "Event Horizon is the name of the black hole/ void that we've given," answered Elliot. "It's a world where souls that have committed too many crimes go to be punished for all eternity," added Elliot. "Event Horizon has nothing but darkness and evil lurking inside, a place no soul wants to go after death," added Elliot. "Yeah no kidding," said Tempest. "But that thing, that Menace, you say it's a supernatural entity, are all Menace like that?" asked Crescent. "You could say that," answered Elliot. "Menaces come in different varieties, although they have the same ability as to one another," "Like what?" asked Tempest. "That stallion you saw, he was possessed by a Menace," answered Elliot. "You can be possessed by these things?!" asked Crescent. "They ARE supernatural so pretty much yes," answered Elliot. "However some Menaces prefer other ways of inflicting harm on the living," added Elliot. "Like how?" asked Tempest nervously. "Some Menaces, may possess, others can act violently by throwing objects like a Poltergeist, others can force their victims by controlling their bodies but not their minds, while others just straight up attack the victims," answered Elliot. The two looked at each other nervously and gulped. "Although there is one Menace that is stronger than all the others, or should I say 5, those Menace are called Menace Controllers, in which they control other Menaces like puppets so they could fulfill their ambitions," Crescent inched closer to Tempest starting to tremble. "These Menaces are much more powerful and violent than any of the other Menaces so it's extremely dangerous to run into one. "But then there is the so-called king of the Menaces, which is the more powerful and extremely hostile compared to all the other Menaces and Menace Controllers," "What can the King do?" asked Crescent trembling. "Well many call him the king but others call him 'The Ultra Menace' or by his real name, Pitch Black," answered Elliot. "He's capable of body possession and shape shifting but he's most recognized by his violent and hostile behavior, a literal nightmare as many would say," "How strong are the Menace Controllers?" Tempest asked swallowing hard. "Oh they're strong alright, not to mention with five of them in total it's scary enough," answered Elliot. "I'm pretty sure you guys encountered one of them several hours earlier with the whole black hole thing in the sky," "Wait so that thing was a Menace Controller?" asked Crescent. "Yes however since Menaces can't leave the Event Horizon they have to drag their victims into their lairs, is this what many of you would say the point of no return?" asked Elliot. "Wait does that mean we can't save our friends?" asked Tempest. "No, no only Menaces can't escape, the living can get out, the only problem is with all the Menaces lurking inside Event Horizon, I don't think they'll let their prey out so easily," answered Elliot. "How do we save them then?" asked Crescent. "We have to beat the Menace Controller that's keeping them from escaping, thats Eclipse," answered Elliot. "Eclipse?" asked Tempest. "Oh yeah, each of the 5 Menace Controllers have nicknames that we gave them, there's Shadoe, Cynister, Crysis, Black Whole, and Eclipse," answered Elliot. "And we're dealing with Eclipse right now?" asked Crescent. "Yes, beating them is hard though, since you need Visions like me," answered Elliot. "You said Visions but not like the trance or dream, so what are Visions?" asked Crescent. "Visions are special individuals who has the ability to see Menaces, they can tell if a Menace is nearby or right next to you," answered Elliot. "Ok, so is there anyway we can beat these Menaces?" asked Tempest. "Like I said earlier, some Menaces tend to possess victims, when that happens you need to lure them out or have the victim break free from their control, since Menaces are weak after possessing a victim they can easily lose control if the victim tries hard enough, but if a Menace stays in a victims body for too long, the Menace destroys the victim's heart and soul and gains complete control of the victim, when that happens the only thing you can do is kill the victim," answered Elliot. "Is that it, there has to be some other way we can save the victim," said Crescent. "The only other way we can save a victim from possession is if you can get a Witch or Priest, witches who have mastered the arts of Witchcraft can easily overpower a Menace and remove them from the victim's body while on the other hand a Priest can easily use their powers to lure the Menace out," answered Elliot. "What about killing a Menace?" asked Tempest. "Shoot them in the head or beheading them is the best way to go, just like killing a Zombie," answered Elliot. "Thank Celestia, killing Menaces are easy," said Tempest. "Yes however Menaces can get very hostile and dangerous so you really need to be careful," added Elliot. "Alright got it," said Crescent. "So now you know a little bit about Menaces, how about telling me what you two plan to do from here on out," said Elliot. The two looked at each other and nodded. Of course they didn't know what might happen if they do this, but Elliot is all they have. Trust him or not, they needed him. > Chapter 2: Supernatural Nightmare > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Twilight groaned as she got to her feet. "Wha, where am I?" she asked. She looked around to find herself in the darkness with her friends next to her. One by one, her friends slowly began to rise all groaning in pain. "Girls, are you alright?" asked Twilight. "I think so darling," Rarity answered. "I feel weird," said Spike. "Where are we?" asked Cadence. "I don't know but there's nothing but darkness around us," answered Twilight. "Luna!" Celestia's voice spoke up. "Celestia what's wrong?" asked Cadence. "Luna, she's gone I could've sworn she got sucked up with us," answered Celestia. "Wait, everypony quiet!" Twilight shushed. The group grew quiet as they listened. A faint sound of wind could be heard. "What is that?" asked Applejack. "Wind?" asked Rainbow. Just as she said that, the sound of something scurrying caught the group's attention. "What was that?" asked Rainbow. The thing scurrying could be heard again followed by a child's giggle. "Ok whoever is doing that needs to stop," said Rainbow. Twilight shot her a glare and walked out into the open. "Hello is somepony there!?" Twilight called out. Nothing responded. "Look Nopony is here," said Rainbow. Suddenly Twilight felt a cold sensation on her back as an unseen force shoved her onto the ground. "Twilight are you alright?" gasped Fluttershy. "Somepony just pushed me!" Twilight yelped. This time she felt a small tug behind her as she was suddenly picked up and levitated in the air by her tail as a cackling played throughout the area. "SOMEPONY HELP!!!!!!" Twilight screamed. "But Twilight that's a cool trick," said Pinkie. "That's not me!" Twilight shrieked. "Alright whoever is doing that needs to stop!" demanded Rainbow as she flew up. Just then a cold sensation zipped past her and smacked her across the face, knocking her back on the ground. At that same moment Applejack's hat began to levitate off her head as a child's giggle could be heard. "Hey give here that hat back!" said Applejack. But as she tried to reach for the hat, it only levitated higher and higher. Eventually it was out of her reach. While all that was going on something tugged at Fluttershy's tail making her yelp and grab her tail out of fear. "Yeah invisible friends!" Pinkie cheered. As she said that an invisible force slapped her across the face. "Hey that's not nice!" said Pinkie. At that moment she suddenly jerked back and was thrown onto the ground. "This is scary I don't like this!" whimpered Rarity. "RARITY!" Spike's voice called out to her. She looked over to see Spike being levitated off the ground as a child's giggle rang out. "Hey put him down!" demanded rarity as she tried to reach for the dragon. "This is madness it can't be happening, I don't believe in ghosts!" yelped Cadence. Just as she said that something began to pull at her mane, tail, and wings. "No, not me, why me!!!!" she screamed. "Cadence!" Celestia reached out to try and help her only to be pulled back by some unseen force. As the group struggled to deal with their own ghosts, the sound of cackling, child's laughter, and sinister laughing rang out in the area all at once. "ENOUGH!" an angry voice roared across the area making the ghosts stop their mischief. "Thank Celestia that's over," said Twilight. "Or is it?" asked Luna. Twilight's ear twitched and turned towards the voice with a smile in hopes of finding Luna. But what she found was something she never wanted to see. Standing there in front of her was Nightmare Moon, grinning demonically at the shocked group. "Hello again," cackled Nightmare Moon. "Luna, no!" Twilight cried. Suddenly the sound of mechanical whirring began to play out. "Heh the Luna you knew is gone," cackled Nightmare Moon. As her laughter echoed through out the area, 11 figures slowly emerged from the shadows, all of them in different shapes and form. 9 of the 11 figures seemed to resemble animals while the other two resembled a young child and some sort of puppet. All of them were withered away and had razor sharp claws and teeth and made whirs and clicks each time they moved. "What are those!?" shrieked Rarity. "These are the mechanical monsters that appear in your dream," answered Nightmare Moon. Suddenly a bright light flashed above Nightmare Moon, as a large figure suddenly took shape. The thing was big with giant vines for arms. A T.V. set had set on the top of a humanoid mouth with eyes and multiple wires hung from the ceiling. "Ok that's big," said Rainbow. Several cackles suddenly rang out as four short skeletons appeared next to the monster machines. One skeleton was black with red and yellow eyes, another was completely black with six tentacles protruding from it's back, a third had a cracked skull with one glowing eye, and the fourth was wearing a black jacket and red T-shirt with one yellow teeth and one red eye. All four smiled demonically at the group. "Eek skeletons!" Fluttershy yelped covering her face. A sinister laughter began to ring out as a second large figure appeared next to the T.V. plant abomination. A giant wizard wearing a blue cloak with stars. He wore black sunglasses over his eyes, and had two golden horns sticking out of his head. "Welcome to your worst nightmare!" they all cackled in unison. The ponies got into battle stance prepared for what was to come when another voice spoke up. "Trying to take the spotlight for yourself sister?" The group turned around when a bright light enveloped the entire room. Once the light died down Celestia was shocked to see who was standing there. "Hello Celestia," Daybreaker cackled. "You why are you?" Celestia stuttered. "Oh it's not just me," laughed Daybreaker. Just as she said that, the devil suddenly appeared, followed by a giant skeletal turtle. His shell was black and had multiple giant spikes protruding from in on all sides. It's glowing yellow eyes burned into the group and his red hair flowed from the heat around it. The devil swung his giant yellow pitchfork while cackling. Next to the two, a small black puddle began to flow out of the ground and took the form of a demon. He had pie cut out for eyes and was grinning wildly. It's appearance almost made him look like he just jumped out of cartoon. "We're here too you know," laughed the group in unison. "Well, well if it isn't the princess of love," said another voice. The group turned behind them to see Chrysalis, Sombra, and the Shadow Pony emerge from the darkness. "Chrysalis and Sombra!" Cadence yelped. "And the Shadow Pony," Applejack growled. "Oh it's not just us," laughed Sombra. Just then from out of nowhere, a creature with a black body and grey hair, slowly rose from the ground, followed by a much smaller creature with an entirely grey body with orange eyes. Finally from behind them a giant black and red bird emerged from the ground. It's large body seemed to resemble the letter Y and it's deep blue eyes stared at the ponies intently. "We brought company," cackled Chrysalis. 'Who are these guys?" asked Rainbow. "They are our agents," a voice responded. The group looked up to see the same two tears appear above them. Twilight didn't think of it before but it was at this moment when she realized those weren't tears in the sky, but rather giant eyes. "Who, who are you?" whimpered Fluttershy. "I am Eclipse, I am one of the 5 Menace Controllers," answered the voice. "And these folks around you are the Menace's personal agents," "Menace?" asked Rarity. "That is correct, Lord Pitch Black has given the Menace specific orders to deal with the living," Eclipse beamed. "Deal with the living?!" Fluttershy yelped. "Yes, for years on end, we Menace have been sealed within Event Horizon and left to suffer the endless torture that has been dropped on us as punishments for our sins when we were still alive," Eclipse beamed. "Well if it's punishments then you'll just have to learn to accept it," said Twilight. "SILENCE, HOW DARE YOU TALK TO A MENACE CONTROLLER LIKE THAT!?" Eclipse roared causing the ground to shake. "I want to go home," whimpered Fluttershy. "Oh sure I'll let you go," laughed Eclipse. "Really?" asked Rainbow. "Under one condition," said Eclipse. "What's the Condition?" asked Twilight. Eclipse looked over to his left as two figures suddenly appeared. Twilight's eyes widened as she recognized one of the figures. "TWILIGHT HELP!" Starlight called out to her. "Starlight!" Twilight cried out. She looked at the figure next to Starlight, and saw what seemed to be a creature in all black. It had a giant head and long arms with giant claws and short stubby legs. The creature seemed to be shining regardless of there being no light, almost as if it's body was metallic. "Here are my conditions, grant me their souls and I shall allow you to escape here without harm!" Eclipse beamed. "WHAT!?" the group shrieked. "You heard me, their souls for your release, not a very bad deal is it?" asked Eclipse. "OVER MY DEAD BODY!!!!!!!" Fluttershy screamed. The group all turned to look at her in shock. "What was that, what did you just say to me?" asked Eclipse. "I said we would never do that, even if it's for our release, even if we only know one, we would never give up ourselves for those two, BECAUSE STARLIGHT IS OUR FRIEND!!!!!!" Fluttershy screamed. The entire room went silent as Fluttershy gasped in fear. "You, you would come to regret those words, you foolish being," said Eclipse. Starlight and the other figure disappeared. As Eclipse roared,"GET OUT OF MY SIGHT!!!!!!!" With a flash the ponies vanished leaving the three groups watching in awe. "AS FOR THE REST OF YOU, GO AND FIND THAT LAST PONY AND BRING HER TO ME!!!!!!" The groups all yelped and ran back into the darkness leaving Eclipse alone. "Just you wait Lord Pitch, I will surely be the one to free us all," laughed Eclipse as he vanished. > Chapter 3: Killing Zombie Demons > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Crescent and Tempest quietly followed Elliot through the dark ponyville as he constantly held his two revolvers at the ready. So far the three hasn't encountered any more possessed ponies since the one on the hill. However since everypony was hiding inside, the silence in the ghost town ponyville only made the situation all the more creepy. "Ok we've been going on like this for a while and the creepiness hasn't gotten any better," said Tempest. "Don't jinx it Temp, you'll never know when a possessed might appear," said Elliot. "I guess that's true, and don't call me Temp," said Tempest. Crescent had remembered Elliot mentioning that it was easy to tell whether a pony is fully possessed due to the empty eye sockets and extreme aggression. However first things first they had to find and befriend a priest or witch that was also a Vision. "Stop," Elliot suddenly said stopping the two. "Look," he said pointing to a strange black bricked building. "Strange I haven't seen that before," said Tempest. "Follow me, if you're planning to save you're friends, and family, you'll need all the supplies for the journey," said Elliot walking towards the building. The two confused, decided to go along and followed Elliot towards the strange building. Elliot opened the door and held it for Crescent and Tempest and followed the two in. The inside of the building didn't look like anything the two had expected. It looked like some sort of old tool shed but bigger. Plus the place was holding several boxes of ammo, food, bottles of water, and other supplies needed for survival. "Weird," said Crescent. Elliot walked up to the counter and rang the bell. "Hey you in!?" Elliot called out. Just as he asked another human walked out from the back of building. He looked young with a stained grey T-shirt, overalls, and yellow goggles that matched his hair. He was covered in grease and was holding a wrench in his left hand. "Hey Elliot, it's been a while," said the human. "Of course, a year maybe?" asked Elliot. "Nah maybe a month man," said the human. "Yeah, well anyway I want you to meet these two mares, Tempest Shadow and Crescent," said Elliot introducing the two to the man. "Hmm ponies from this world eh, that's cool," said the man scratching his beard. "Nice to meet you," said Crescent bowing. "Same here buddy, the names Sparky," said the man. "That's an interesting name," chuckled Tempest. "Aye, my real name's actually Spencer but Elliot here calls me Sparky because of my hair," said Sparky. "I like Sparky," laughed Crescent. "Uh huh great, anyway Elliot how'd you get such cute ponies to follow you around eh?" asked Sparky. "Cute?" asked Tempest. "These two are looking for their family and friends, I'm only acting as their bodyguard until this whole Menace incident blows off," answered Elliot. "Ah, I see, well than what can I do for you Elliot?" asked Sparky. "Supplies," answered Elliot. "Gotcha back buddy," said Sparky walking to the back of the shop. The three waited at the counter for a while before Sparky came back with a large green bag, a large Condor 3 Point Sling, three boxes of ammo, several thermos, 10 bottles of fresh water, fresh clothes, and an entire tub of sandwiches, bags of chips, apples, and cans of soup. "Ok so there is a easy to pack tent in the bag along with air mattresses and everything you need is here," said Sparky. "How much is that?" asked Elliot slinging his rifle on his back. "Oh don't worry about it, this one's on the house," laughed Sparky. "Thank you so much Mr. Sparky," said Crescent. "Anytime ladies," Sparky smiled. "Hey can we get another bag for the clothes, thermos, and water?" asked Tempest. Sparky nodded as he threw another medium sized bag onto the counter. Tempest took the thermos, bottles, and clothes and stuffed them in her bag as Crescent grabbed the tub of food, and Elliot packed away his three packs of bullets. "Will that be it?" asked Sparky. "Uh lets see, we need to find a witch or priest that is also a Vision, do you know anybody?" asked Elliot. Sparky scratched his chin before snapping his fingers and pointing it at Elliot. "Go and find a woman with a white bonnet, and white umbrella, she calls herself a Gap Yokai and supposedly knows a couple of friends who can help you, she shouldn't be hard to miss due to her yellow hair and white robe," answered Sparky. "What's her name?" asked Elliot. "Um I think it's like Yukari Yakumo or something like that, sorry I need to work on my Japanese," answered Sparky. "Great thanks," said Elliot. "Anytime," said Sparky. Elliot turned around and walked out the door followed by Tempest and Crescent. "Alright Yukari Yakumo eh, he said that she was a Yokai, but wait what's a Yokai?" asked Crescent. "They are supernatural monsters, ghosts, and demons of the Japanese folklore," answered Elliot. "That doesn't sound good," said Tempest. "Well hopefully we can ask her to help," said Elliot. He suddenly stopped in his tracks and face forward. Both Tempest and Crescent stopped as they heard groans approaching them. The three looked forward to see a horde of eyeless ponies approaching them. "Damn looks like those Menaces got to them," said Elliot. Crescent and Tempest quickly hid behind Elliot as the Zombie Demons ran towards them as they set their sights on the three. Elliot pulled out his two revolvers and fired at one of the ponies. He was struck in the head and collapsed on the ground dead. However the others ignored their dead comrade and kept coming. Elliot continued to shoot Zombie Demon ponies and protected the two ponies behind him. "Damn there's too many," said Elliot. "What do we do?" asked Crescent. "I don't know," said Elliot sweating. Two more possessed ponies ran at him as Elliot fired both revolvers taking both of them down. "And I thought finding Yukari Yakumo was going to be hard," said Elliot. He had taken out more than 50 possessed ponies and used up almost half of his revolver's ammo set. Yet they kept coming and it almost seemed never ending. "If we keep this up, I'll end up using up all my ammo, we have no choice, we have to run," said Elliot. "Are you kidding, those things are faster than us, they'll outrun us!" Tempest exclaimed. "We have no choice, just run!" Elliot ordered. He quickly shoved his revolvers back into their holsters, turned around and grabbed Tempest and Crescent and began running. The horde immediately ran after them in hot pursuit. "Damn they're fast!" Elliot groaned. "Don't talk just run!" Crescent exclaimed. Elliot picked up speed as the horde behind them got closer and closer. Just as Elliot thought they could escape, he tripped over a rock and fell down dropping Crescent and Tempest. By the time the three got to their feet the horde had already caught up with them and slowly walked towards them, their eyeless sockets drilling into the three. "Shit!" Elliot screamed. Just as three possessed ponies stood over them grinning demonically, a loud bang rang out in the area just as a stream of rainbow light struck the three ponies and the horde behind them and sent them flying back towards the direction the came from. "What was that?" asked Tempest. "Geez and I thought I was reckless," a female voice spoke up from above them. The three looked up to see three figures standing above them. All three were female but two had blonde yellow hair while one had black hair. One of the females, Elliot instantly recognized. The three helped Elliot, Tempest, and Crescent up. "Thanks for that," said Crescent. "Anytime," said the black haired girl. "Hmph and just when I thought things were bad enough," said Elliot. Tempest and Crescent looked at him confused. He walked up to the one of the blonde hair girls with the umbrella. "You must be Yukari Yakumo," Elliot said in a serious tone. "Hmph the one and only," laughed Yukari. "Hmph, geez giving us a hunt weren't you?" chuckled Elliot. "No, why you need something from me?" asked Yukari. "Only something important," answered Elliot. "Listen if it has something to do with The Menace I don't have any information on them," scoffed Yukari. "I wasn't going to ask for information," said Elliot. "Oh then what else could you possibly need from me?" asked Yukari. "Um Elliot...." Crescent stuttered. "A friend of ours told us that you might know someone who can play the part as Vision Witch or Priest," said Elliot. Yukari smirked,"If it's a witch you need..." She turned towards the girl hovering on the broom with the black dress and hat. "What me!?" asked the girl. "Come on Marisa, you're free aren't you?' asked Yukari. "Well yeah but..." the girl named Marisa groaned. "Marisa was it?" asked Elliot. "Yeah Marisa Kirisame," said Marisa. "Listen these two here, their family and friends have been captured by the Menace Controller, in order to save them we need....."But his statement was suddenly interrupted when Marisa jumped in front of his face. "The Menace Controller you say?" she asked. "Well yeah," answered Elliot. She smiled as she pounded her chest,"I'm in," "What really?" asked Tempest. "What changed her mind?" asked Crescent. "You see in order for us to defeat the Menace Controller, we have to go to their world, Event Horizon, which means we'll probably end up facing not just The Menace, but other supernatural entities that have been damned for eternal life," answered Elliot. "And if it means getting to face of The Menace and other supernatural entities, doesn't that sound interesting?" asked Marisa jumping in front of Crescent. "Um maybe?" asked Crescent. "Hey Yukari, are you sure this was a good idea?" asked the black haired girl. "Trust me Reimu, she'll be fine," answered Yukari. "I hope you're right," said the girl named Reimu. "Glad to have you join us Marisa, I'm Elliot," said Elliot. "I'm Crescent," said Crescent. "And I'm Tempest, Tempest Shadow," said Tempest. "Heh, Marisa Kirisame," said Marisa puffing out her chest proudly. Suddenly their introduction was suddenly interrupted as the horde suddenly came crawling back up the hill. "Shit, their still not dead?" growled Elliot. "We can't stay here, let's move to a safer location," said Yukari. The six turned around and ran down the hill with the horde in hot pursuit. > Chapter 4: Fear the Darkness > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- It's been hours since the abduction of the Elements and the princesses and the crystal empire have been on high alert since the mysterious virus started to spread in Ponyville and Canterlot. Since the princesses has been abducted by an unseen force, both Shining Armor and Flurry Heart has taken the liberty to watch over the castle while Cadence was gone. Guards ran up and down the halls of the Crystal Empire busy at work. One guard ran to the throne room panicked, clutching a letter in his mouth. He slid to a stop in front of the throne room doors gasping for air. "A letter for captain Shining Armor and her majesty," said the guard. The two guards opened the door and let him in. "So are guests are on their way here?" asked Shining Armor. "Yes sir, they said it was urgent," answered a guard. "I suppose they could be talking about the strange phenomenon going on," said Flurry. "It's a possibility," said the guard. "SIR!" Shining and Flurry turned their attention towards the second guard running in clutching the letter. "What is it?" asked Shining. "We've got a notice from the enemy!" the guard exclaimed. Shining Armor and Flurry looked at each other with worried looks and nodded. "Read, we're listening," said Flurry. "Right away your majesty," said the guard unrolling the letter. "Ahem, citizens of Equestria, it is I, Eclipse The Menace Controller, I'm delivering this message regarding the captives," read the guard. "MOTHER!" said Flurry. "I would like to make clear that, I do not plan on harming your loved ones, however if you wish to see them once more, you'll have to schedule your own time to come and get them yourselves," read the guard. "Anything else?" asked Shining. "Of course I do not plan to make things simple for you, thus I would like to make a deceleration to do battle for their souls, I expect you to have your strongest men to challenge the Menace, if you try any tricks or play any funny jokes, their souls will go into the claws of our king, do not disappoint me, prepare yourselves for May 16, I say this will be interesting, signed Eclipse The Menace Controller," read the guard. "You mean to say that they're forcing us to go to war!?" asked Flurry. "If it's war then I'm afraid I can't allow that," said Shining Armor. "But sir, your wife...." said the guard. "I know my wife is in danger, but this is too risky, we've already lost hundreds of lives, we don't need to lose another hundred," said Shining Armor. "But mother...." Flurry complained. "I said No!" Shining growled. "I suggest you listen to your father," a voice spoke up. The three turned to see Elliot, Tempest, Crescent, and Marisa walk in escorted by two guards. The four got to their knees and bowed. "Your Majesty," said Elliot. "Who are you?" asked Flurry. "We're the 'guests' that requested an appointment," answered Tempest. "I suppose this is about Equestria's current state?" asked Shining. "This is also about the war you'll be planning for," answered Elliot. "What do you mean?" asked Flurry. "Your majesty do you know of the enemy and their powers?" asked Crescent. Both Shining and Flurry shook their heads. "Your Majesty the enemy you face are called Menace, which are supernatural entities that are born after a soul is banished to Event Horizon after death for eternal damnation," answered Crescent. "Event Horizon?" asked Shining. "Event Horizon is the name of the void that prevents The Menace from escaping, it's basically their point of no return," answered Tempest. "Pretty terrifying place don't you think?' asked Marisa smirking. Elliot shot her a glare obviously not amused. "What come on take a joke will ya?' asked Marisa nudging him with her elbow. Elliot sighed and said,"As I was saying, I suggest you forget about going to war," "But my mother....." said Flurry close to tears. "Listen I understand you're worried about your mother, but going to war is only going to make the situation much worse," replied Elliot. "What do you mean?" asked Crescent. "You can't actually kill a Menace," added Elliot. "What are you talking about, you've been killing those monsters this entire time," said Marisa. "It may seem like that but in reality when you kill a possessed pony, your only confiscating the Menace's ability to inflict harm, thus they will escape the victim's body and will attempt to return to Event Horizon as soon as possible, since Visions like me have the power to seal the Menace in Event Horizon for all eternity," said Elliot. "Does that explain why they're are so many Menace still out there?" asked Guard. "Yes, if a Menace is sealed within Event Horizon, they are unable to travel between worlds, in which the Menace doesn't want that, they want to cause harm and problems for the living, so they must immediately return to Event Horizon before a Vision can perform a sealing spell on them," answered Elliot. "Ok I get that Visions can seal The Menace, by why against the war, aside from all the destruction and death," asked Marisa. "Going to war with the Menace is only making them more powerful," answered Elliot. "What do you mean?" asked Tempest. "You see in every world there is an invisible seal that prevents Event Horizon from entering the world of the living, going to war with the Menace means destruction, the more destruction that is caused, the weaker the seal gets," answered Elliot. "And if the seal is weakened too much?" asked Shining. "Then the darkness from Event Horizon will leak into the world of the living making it easier for the Menace to enter meaning they'll be able to terrorize the living without having to possess as much, still they can do plenty of terrifying things in their full bodies," answered Elliot. "Like what?" asked Tempest. "Imagine a Poltergeist fused with a demon," answered Elliot. The six took the time to picture what that would look like. After several seconds they all looked at each other and looked at Elliot with a nervous look on their face. "Seems like you got the picture," said Elliot. "Please don't tell me...." stuttered Flurry. "Yes they can get violent enough to even go as far as to killing the living themselves," said Elliot. The 5 even Marisa began to tremble in fear. It was obvious that these supernatural entities were not any ordinary ghosts. "B...But. recently more and more ponies are getting possessed, what does that mean?" stuttered the guard. "The seal is getting weaker," answered Elliot. "What do we do, if we keep weakening the seal those monsters will break into Equestria!" screamed Flurry. "We have to find the seal and replace it, fast," answered Elliot. "But wait does the seal weaken by nature or does someone have to weaken it," asked Shining. "Sometimes it does wear out after a long period of time, but I have a feeling that somebody is responsible for weakening the seal," answered Elliot. "But who?" asked Tempest. "We should worry about that later, right we need to find the seal and replace it before it's too late," answered Elliot. "But what about the others in Event Horizon?" asked Crescent. "Don't worry, Event Horizon is only meant for the dead, the seal will have no effect on the living," answered Elliot. "Thank Celestia," sighed Flurry. "But even still we must hurry," said Elliot. "Even if they are stuck in Event Horizon, Menace can easily kill them and claim their soul, even if they committed little crimes in the past, any sins that haven't been erased from their souls will prevent them from leaving Event Horizon," "What do we do?" asked Tempest. "Heh easy, all we have to do is find the seal and replace it," said Marisa confidently. "Don't count on it Marisa, even if you ARE a witch and or magician, Menace surely won't make things easier for us," said Elliot. "First things first do you know where the seal is located?" asked Shining. "You have a library?" asked Elliot. "Follow me, it's not that deep in the castle," said Flurry jumping off her mother's throne. The group ran out with Flurry and hurriedly made their way towards the crystal empire library. Meanwhile somewhere Eclipse continues to watch the group. "Heh those fools they think they can get to that seal easily," snickered Eclipse. He turned around to face Dry Bowser. "Those fools are trying to get to that seal, stop them, we mustn't let them replace it," he ordered. "As you wish master," said Dry Bowser before he disappeared into the darkness. "Heh soon those fools will know, they will know To Fear the Darkness....." > Chapter 5: The Seal > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- The sound of footsteps echoed throughout the Crystal Empire Library as the five plus two guards rushed through isles looking for a certain book. "What kind of book are you searching for exactly?" asked Flurry as she skimmed through the pages of two books. "The seal is normally located in areas where no life inhabits the surrounding space," answered Elliot. "Which means nobody should have gone to the seal since the area around it is forbidden," "Forbidden, in that case we should check out Everfree Castle," suggested Flurry. "Everfree Castle?" asked Tempest. "Yeah, my mother used to say that almost nopony goes around that area since it's gloomy and worn down," answered Flurry. "Could be worth checking, let's go," said Crescent. The group rushed out of the library and followed Flurry as she led the group for Everfree Castle. However what was supposed to be an hour long walk became easier thanks to Flurry's teleportation magic Twilight had taught her and the group was standing outside Everfree Castle within moments. "Wow creepy," said Marisa taking one look at the abandoned castle. "Indeed this is no doubt one of the places anyone would put the seal," said Elliot. "I don't like this," whimpered Tempest. Crescent looked over to Tempest with a sad look. It was no doubt she would feel uneasy about coming to this place. But replacing the seal was the only way to put an end to this madness. "I'm scared too, but this is our only hope," said Crescent. "Crescent's right, let's go," said Elliot as he walked towards Everfree Castle. Marisa grinned as she followed Elliot in without hesitation. Meanwhile the others reluctantly followed the two in. As Crescent, Tempest, Flurry, and Shining followed Marisa and Elliot deeper into the worn down castle, they stuck together in case something attacked them. "This is so unsettling," said Flurry. "No kidding," said Shining. The group continued to wander through the halls until they came to a stop in an open room. In the center they could see what seemed to be a giant circle with two triangles on the bottom and one stacked on top along with a star in the center of the three triangles, could be seen painted on the ground with red paint. "That's it!" said Elliot. "That's the seal?" asked Marisa. ''It certainly looks like a seal to me," said Crescent. The group followed after Elliot as he ran up to the seal. "Yes it's no doubt that this is the seal," said Elliot. "But it looks kind of strange," said Shining. He wasn't wrong, the seal had looked faded, as if someone had dumped a bucket of water over it. "It's no doubt that somebody tried to destroy the seal, considering that the damage done looks fresh," said Elliot. "Heh clever observation there cowboy," a bone rattling cackle spoke up from behind them. The group turned around as Dry Bowser suddenly emerged from the darkness. "Wha who are you?" asked Tempest. "I am Dry Bowser, I have been given orders directly from Eclipse regarding you all," answered Dry Bowser. "Eclipse!?" Shining gasped. "That's right, I hate to break it to you ,but I cannot allow you to replace that seal," said Dry Bowser. "Oh yeah, and I assume YOU'RE going to stop us, there's only one of you and the six of us," boasted Marisa. "Don't get too cocky, you think you can beat me, not when Master Eclipse has my back," said Dry Bowser. "What do you mean?" growled Crescent. He wasn't showing but it was clear that Dry Bowser was smirking. He stomped one of his skeletal foot down hard and let out an angry roar as a black aura suddenly flared to life around him. "What in the name of Equestria?!" Flurry yelped. Dry Bowser laughed as he pointed a skeletal finger at the group. "Ready, here we go!" he roared. He inhaled and blasted a stream of blue fire at the group. The group quickly scattered to avoid the attack as the fire blew a sizzling hole in the wall behind them. "Great balls of fire, that could've knocked us out in one hit!" Elliot yelped. "It must be Eclipse's power," Crescent suggested. "Then we'll need to be cautious when fighting him," said Shining. Elliot pulled out both revolvers and aimed them at Dry Bowser as he turned to face him. He fired several rounds only for them to bounce off Dry Bowser as he slowly approached him. "Damn my bullets won't do crap," cursed Elliot. "Damn right they won't," laughed Dry Bowser. He inhaled and coughed up a giant blue fireball at Elliot forcing him to roll to the side in order to avoid the attack. "Heh your bullets may be useless, but let's see how my magic works against this guy," laughed Marisa as she pulled out a small octagonal box and aimed it at Dry Bowser. "Master Spark!" Marisa announced as a rainbow colored beam shot out of the box and at Dry Bowser. Dry Bowser held up his arms as the beam struck him and pushed him back several feet. Marisa smiled as she waited for the dust to clear. Suddenly Dry Bowser jumped out of the smoke in front of Marisa, not a single scratch on him. "What it didn't do anything!?" Marisa gasped. Dry Bowser raised his claw as the black aura covered Dry Bowser's arm and took the shape of a large shadowy claw. Marisa yelped and quickly jumped off to the left as Dry Bowser brought his claw down hard. "Hey a little help here!" Marisa called out. "I got you," said Crescent leaping in the air. Dry Bowser turned around as Crescent spread out her wings and glared at Dry Bowser. Her horn began to glow in a deep blue aura as she fired a blue beam at Dry Bowser. Dry Bowser inhaled and blasted a stream of blue fire back at Crescent. The stream of fire and beam collided with each other and exploded shaking the entire castle. Once the smoke cleared the group had reunited with each other and was ready for the next attack. "Damn he's strong," cursed Elliot. "If we attack him all at once maybe we can beat him," suggested Tempest. "Worth trying," said Flurry. The group waited to see what Dry Bowser would do, but instead of attacking he laughed. "Tough luck looks like I win," "What are you talking about, you haven't beaten anyone," said Shining. Dry Bowser smirked as he turned around and launched a fire ball setting the seal on fire. "Shit the seal!" Elliot screamed. Once the fire died down the only thing left was a scorched ground where the seal had been. Dry Bowser turned around and smiled demonically. "Game Over," he said. Elliot clenched his teeth in anger and raised both of his revolver to his face. Dry Bowser roared as a black portal appeared beneath him and he began to sink in. "Hey get back here!" said Marisa running after Dry Bowser. But the portal disappeared just as she reached him. Just then multiple screeches could be heard echoing from the direction of ponyville. "Great now we're doomed!" whimpered Flurry. "Maybe if we make the seal now, we can still make it," suggested Crescent. "Not possible, creating a new seal takes way too long, replacing one only takes 2 hours but making a new one takes 48 hours," answered Elliot. "Are you kidding me we can't live in a world filled with supernatural beings!" said Tempest. "At this rate we'll have to go to war!" said Shining. "Not if we start now," said Crescent. "I'll help so just tell me what we need to do," "We won't have time, there's too much we need to do," said Elliot. "We won't know unless we try!" said Crescent. Elliot looked over to her and saw her eyes burning with determination. Knowing that arguing with her wasn't going to fix anything, Elliot decided to go with it. "Oh to hell with those Menace, Flurry can you take us back to the castle?" asked Elliot. Flurry nodded. "Hurry we need as much time as possible," said Elliot. The group gathered around Flurry as her horn began to glow in a yellow aura. Within a flash the group was gone. The rise of The Menace had begun.
