However, one day, Smolder chips a tooth and needs to get it filled. When she finds out how it's going to be fixed, she's less keen on this. Even with her friends telling her to do it, Smolder refuses, and things don't go well for any creature.

Instincts are a powerful thing. For dragons, they're even stronger than most. Ocellus knows this. But when Smolder's instincts drive her into a hoarding frenzy, she's the one who must find a way to reach past those instincts and get through to Smolder herself, as well as discover a few things about herself along the way. Even if everyone knows the one thing you should never do is go into a dragon's lair.

It's Hearthswarming Eve and Gallus has started to really feel the distance that has been building up between him and his friends since he decided to join the Royal Guard. But now, he was invited again to visit, and how could he say no to Smolder?

After a mirror portal field trip being conducted by Luna goes terribly wrong, Ocellus finds herself trapped in a strange palace far from home. That palace, once abandoned, is now infested with a hive of love-starved changelings intent on using her only way home as a means to invade her world.

Otherwise, Ocellus appears to be alone.

This story is set after "The End of the End" (but before "The Last Problem"), and is purely a My Little Pony story.
