Twilight's cutie mark is fading, and Celestia sends her a series of lessons to rekindle her passion for magic- and for friendship. Twilight must study the magics her friends possess, as well as casting a serious eye on her own gifts.

This is technically a sequel to "Fixing Up Miss Smartypants", so I totally recommend that you read that first. It's set five years later.

Applejack's pie delivery route took her through the Flame Geyser Swamp and led to a faceoff against a chimera, but Big Mac's route to a mountain unicorn village might be worse.

Big Macintosh had a perfectly good reason for taking Twilight's doll; he wanted to use it to finally start a conversation with her. But Applejack's having none of it, Rarity's getting the wrong idea about everything, and the Cutie Mark Crusader Matchmakers are about to really throw a spanner in the works! A comedy of errors launching a full fleet of ships.

Equestria is locked in a three way tie. The Earth ponies pay tribute to the Pegasi so that they will control the weather and the Unicorn's receive tribute to raise the sun and moon. All three factions distrust and even openly hate the others to a point where anypony found outside of their realm is persecuted. A series of events brings six young fillies from all three different worlds together, and as they spend more time together, they realize that not everything grown ups say is true. But how can they be friends in a world on the brink of all out war?

This story is a sequel to The Pregnant Princess' Pesky Predicament

Big Mac isn't a hero. All he's ever done is stymie his envy as Applejack and her friends save the day again and again, preventing terrible monsters from wreaking havoc across Equestria. He wishes he could do more to help, but he's never had a chance. All he's ever been able to do is tend the farm and watch over the Apple family, year after year.

But then Big Mac is given a blessing of power. He's barely given time to react, but he does know that this is his chance to be the hero he always wanted to be. Before he knows it, he's all that stands between Equestria and oblivion, and only he can save the day.
