Loki stands on the verge of conquest. His enemies are scattered; their greatest weapons are powerless to stop him. Very soon the Tesseract will open the doorway to an alien army bent on overrunning the planet. Everything has fallen perfectly into place for Loki to bring humanity to its knees.

But when a twist of fate radically alters the events which unite the Avengers, the impending battle for Earth is cast into a little world, an equine world. Now a group of remarkable yet dysfunctional individuals must learn from six colorful ponies that the greatest of teams are forged by the power of their friendships.

Being a background character in a major television isn't an easy job, nor is it as fun as being a main character. However after gaining a fairly admirable fanbase, the actress, Derpy, has been given the chance to have a much bigger role in the TV show, My Little Pony, Friendship is Magic. She finds herself overwhelmed with excitement about her big leap in importance in the series and can't wait to see how her fans react... However, her adorably goofy demeanor isn't smiled upon by all...

How will she react when she finds out that her biggest scene ever is being replaced by some Ditzy blonde?

(Came up with the idea soon after the replacement episode came out for The Last roundup. Hope you enjoy the story and i hope you support the old derpy we know and love!)

*This is a side story to The Winds of Change, and starts after the first chapter of the sequel.*
With the sudden re-drafting of Jason and Dash into the military, Scootaloo is left feeling more alone than she can remember. Sure, she still has her friends, but friends can't just replace parents. And now with knowledge of her parent's leave all over the town, Diamond Tiara's bound to pick up on her weakness. But she's not the same scared, defenseless pony she was a month ago, is she?

Honestly, this works without knowledge of the prior story, besides the fact that Jason and Dash are her parents, and that they both have a heavy military background. Other than that, it's just another story.

Tags were hard with this, I have to say. There's only light romance, so don't worry about implied foalcon. There's no human tag, because Jason's only mentioned, and is barely involved if at all.

I am a producer on the scene of MLP:FiM and what an honor it is. To be that close to the mane six is, astonishing. Initially I reacted like any Brony would, screaming like a fanboy and waving my arms in the air, but the truth sank in, and it seemed to make sense.

I shall be interviewing the cast in upcoming chapters including background ponies, Fanon ponies etc, we'll see how it goes. Almost literally, the ideas for this are endless of who I could interview. If you have any questions you would like me to ask during the interviews, feel free to drop them in the comments and I'll pick the best.

Here's some quick background info on what you need to know, seeing as the 40K universe is huge and no one can be expected to know everything.

The Space Marine chapter involved in this story is a little known chapter known as the Celestial Lions, who are a descendant of the Imperial Fists. They were targeted for destruction by the Inquisition after defying them on an Exterminatus that was due to purge a world the Lions had fought for and saved. They fought during the Third War for Armageddon mainly, and during the fighting, they were reduced from 950+ battle brothers to just 96. Their numbers are even lower now, due to events that will be explored during this story.
