After a long time--she would be more precise but Twilight has lost track of time--she emerges from the dark of the library. Her candles are burnt down to nubs. There is no food left in her pantry and furthermore, no coffee. So she goes to seek both.

And finds the town changed. Or is it Twilight who has changed?

The Equestrian Industrial Revolution is in full swing. Rainbow Dash returns to a drastically changed Ponyville and to Twilight Sparkle, her last friend in the city. She must rekindle the bonds of love and friendship before the winds of change render the Elements of Harmony irrelevant. Even in a world of steel, fire and glass, loyalty is needed more than ever.

How do you make a story out of a chaotic hodgepodge of ever shifting and random pairings? That's a good question. How do you do that? Anyway, I tried. Heaven help me, I tried.

This fic was inspired by Bronycon and the “Twilight’s Secret Shipfic Folder” card game, which I and other writers there played the hell out of. In fact, it is my attempt at a direct re-creation of a game in narrative form. Bolded words are a direct call-back to the cards being played.

*An AU extended ending to Season 8 - "Father Knows Beast"*

It's been days since the greedy manipulator Sludge was revealed to have lied about being Spike's Father. Spike, originally excited to have had an actual dragon as a parental figure, now fears he will never have a family outside of Twilight to call his own.

However, despite Spike's hesitations, Twilight insists that he goes on a mission to tell each of their close friends what happened in regards to Sludge's scheme and form a bond with them. Spike has his doubts though as he fears the others aren't family and will reject him. Nevertheless, he sets out on a very personal mission.

How will each pony react to finding out that the baby dragon was taken advantage of as an excuse for room and board? Will they be able to help Spike and show that they love him? Will Spike discover that there's more to a family than he originally thought?

Rarity, Twilight, and their friends are eating lunch, when AJ notices Twilight staring at a stallion. In the ensuing conversation, Twilight soon learns that her friends are all crazy ponies and have somehow gotten it into their heads that she is in a relationship with her mentor and idol Princess Celestia.

After Equestria Girls, Twilight has a much better sense of how to use computers and other technology. When finding a spell to summon a human computer into Equestria, Twilight invites her friends over to teach them about technology. Pinkie jokingly runs a search for her own name, not even expecting to see anything.

What they find may just scar them for life.

Rated T just in case for slight hints at sex. No actual sex is described.

This story is mainly just supposed to be cute and funny, and is not meant to be taken seriously.

Twilight Sparkle is working hard on the secrets of the Box from the Tree of Harmony when Princess Celestia sends her a break in the form of candy and a riddle. Soon, she and her pony friends are wrapped up in a fabulous journey to solve the riddle before time runs out...

This is a story in no way as serious as it sounds above.

On the longest day, of the thousandth year, the stars aided in her escape.

Then Nightmare Moon looked out upon the land that would soon be her empire, and found a world she no longer existed in. In a thousand years, she had been all but forgotten.
She could conquer, and continue to be hated. She could put aside her pride, and be redundant. Or, she could disappear, and fade into the glorious night.

AN: While Princess of Equestria takes place before this, neither are required reading for the other. Rather, they complement each other.

Twilight Sparkle knew she was a smart filly. She was in the School of Magic after all, Celestia’s personal student even. She had a great family and baby sitter too. So why did she have to be so stupid and end up throwing it to burn.

Now all she had was Spike, she was alone, and somewhere unfamiliar.
