When Twilight receives tickets to see one of Equestria's greatest band, she and some of her friends decide to go see them.

Warning: lots and lots and LOTS of Beatles references. (Good luck spotting them all.)

This story is a sequel to Alternate Beginnings: Year Six

The highly anticipated One Thousandth Summer Sun Celebration will take place in Ponyville, the nine hundred and ninety ninth anniversary of the first year of Princess Celestia's solo rule of Equestria. Much must be done before it can happen, especially with how busy and crowded the farm can get.

Reading of previous books is not required, though some events from earlier years may be referenced.

Set approximately one year before the events of MlP:FiM

A human appears in Equestria, meeting Applejack and soon the rest of the ponies of Ponyville. He does his best to cope with the new situation, especially those that move faster than he might be comfortable with. The first year of his time in Equestria.

Flutterbat and Timberjack are solitary hunters. Crossing onto each other's territory can only be seen as a challenge. When they meet in the forest their instincts demand retribution. Who will be allowed to claim the best clearing in the forest? Who will be the one to rise from the chaotic flames of conflict?

Fluttershy's batty side doesn't bother her much anymore, but now Pinkie's gotten it in her head that Fluttershy should drink somepony's blood. Being the dutiful girlfriend she is, Pinkie offers her own, and with Applejack's help manages to get Fluttershy to agree to try it out.

Content warning: I don't shy away from describing things in this story. There will be blood. Quite a bit of it.

Applejack has always derived her strength from her family, and Fluttershy has long derived hers from Applejack. Everypony involved learns a little bit about friendship and romance when the two mares fall for each other.
