It's nearing the summer sun celebration, one year after Twilight arrived, and things are not going according to plan.
Preperation is behind schedule, supplies are still needed,
And to top it off, Twilight has accidently turned her friend's pets into ponies!
Without an easy antidote and time growing short, the mane six decide to let the pets help them in the celebration.
And they'll need all the help they can get.

A look at the Mane Six and one other from the perspective of those who are always by their side.

Caramel has a job as a telemarketer. When he calls Twilight Sparkle's house, she lets her pet owl pick up the phone. The only problem is that Owlowiscious does nothing but hoot.

The magic of friendship flows through every creature, big and small. They just need a little push in the right direction. Tired of living under their masters' neglect, insanity or just plain monotony, the pets all desire (in one way or another) to take life in a new, more exciting direction.

When a mysterious curse is laid on the Elements of Harmony, turning the bearers into pets and their pets into ponies, the misfits embark on a dangerous trek to break it. What was originally meant to be a quick trip around Equestria turns into a harrowing journey that expands from the comfy suburbs of Ponyville to the forgotten ruins of an underground kingdom to the biting tundra of the north, all filled with odd characters, laughter and an evil that has lasted for generations as the pets each embrace their inner hero. Because as we all know: the greatest of legends always start with the smallest beginnings.

The history books tell many tales of the great Star Swirl the Bearded, one of Equestria's most famous and talented unicorn wizards. But suspiciously, they are quiet on what ultimately became of the skillful stallion. Is there anypony who might know his ultimate fate?

In Equestria's distant past, before Celestia and Luna ruled, a magical experiment will be performed that will forever change the fate of Star Swirl the Bearded and help create the one and only Owlowicious we all know and love today.

As with everything I write (unless otherwise noted), this takes place in what I shall officially call the Peregrine Fanonverse.
