With Big Mac and her friends unable to help her with this season's applebucking, Applejack thought she was going to be the only one to take on the enormous task. That is, until she meets Derpy.

With Derpy helping out, Applejack should have no worries with this season's applebucking.

Probably.

The local human is not especially happy being stranded where he is, finding the natives too brightly coloured and too friendly and all-in-all a little daunting. He is rarely seen outside the house on the edge of town. They give him space.

One very early morning an especially loud, house-rattling sounds draws him outside though, and rather makes his day.

Derpy is finally going to get rid of that old book on her shelf. The memories can go with it.

Lengthened version of the 12th-place finisher in the /fic/ mini write-off "Famous Last Words."

While strolling around town, Twilight Sparkle accidentally knocks out Derpy's contact lenses, revealing perfectly normal eyes hidden underneath.

So what else could Derpy be faking?

Derpy has been summoned to Canterlot by Princess Celestia. She has been fitted with the ceremonial armour of the Royal Guard, and has been brought to a courthouse. The princess has asked her to speak of an event in her past that she has no memory of. An event that changed her life and altered her personality. She just has to keep reminding herself that "most days are pretty good."

If Derpy tells a story in a burned down forest and nopony's there to hear it does she get a muffin?

(Inspired by "Do You Want to Go Skateboards?" by Takarashi282, who I felt missed the more obvious crossover point. Both stories based on this youtube thing.)

Derpy has had a not-so-secret crush on Ponyville's premiere cellist player for a while now, but sadly the only pony who hasn't figured that out yet is Octavia herself. Too shy to admit her true feelings, Derpy instead gets Octavia alone for a private cello lesson, in hopes that a little bit of flirting will nudge things in the right direction.

Unfortunately Octavia is as blind as a bat when it comes to romance.
