Charley was not the least bit surprised when he came face to face with Death after months of fighting cancer. It was just the final thing in a long line of disappointment and regret for him.

Death, however, wasn't pleased with what he saw, and threatened Charley with losing his soul for the way his life turned out. Before it was lost though, Death decided to give Charley one final chance. A last task: to make one friend. Make one friend in one week, and he'd be able to pass through to the other side.

Making one friend in one week? That should be easy enough, right?

Featherweight keeps saying he saw this thing running around the forest....he claims it looks like a pony, but it only walks on its hind legs. I don't believe him.

Rumble is a sucker for thick, juicy, succulent M.E.A.T. (Magically Enhanced Apple Tubes) and can't get enough of 'em! While at a cookout for the Wonderbolts with his brother, Rumble gets the surprise of his lifetime; something special that the Princess of Friendship made just for him. Could this be when the eager colt learns his eyes are bigger than his mouth/throat/stomach?!?

At a Nightmare Night party, Scootaloo is given the chance to spend the night with Rumble, the colt she's had a crush on for far too long. Will she bottle it? Or will she make it the best Nightmare Night ever!

Not many believed she could ever get off the ground. They couldn't have been more wrong. Follow through Scootaloo's life as it takes off from her first flight. An experience she'll never be able to forget.

Apple Bloom and Sweetie Belle want to help Scootaloo with her crush on Rumble, seeing that she's too stubborn to admit her feelings, also getting assistance from the dancing pony Tender Taps. Dinky wants to help Rumble with his crush, but unfortunately for the Crusaders, Rumble's affection seemed to be focused on a sweet little Unicorn Filly. Apple Bloom hopes to get Scootaloo her colt, unless Sweetie Belle herself starts to return Rumble's feelings.
