It had been seven years since Queen Chrysalis' invasion terminated with the obliteration of Celestia's palace and half of Canterlot. Now the Great and Powerful Leader and her allies have all but eradicated the blight of the Changelings and thrust a war-torn Equestria into a golden age of unsubdued innovation.

There's only one thing that can stop them now.

This story is a sequel to The Issue of Multiple Sunsets

(While it is a sequel to The Issue of Multiple Sunsets, this story is also connected to Principal Cinch and the Unhappy Mother.)

With their powers gone, having gotten over their grudge with the Rainbooms, and staying in the human world at their own volition, the Dazzlings are now free to do whatever they want. The question is, what do they want?

When S.M.I.L.E. (The Secret Magical Intelligence League of Earth) shows up, it comes with a simple proposition: the Dazzlings will be given all the paperwork needed to be recognized, legal citizens of this world, and have all records of their past crimes sealed, allowing them to live normal human lives.

With one exception.

In order to receive this, Aria Blaze has to agree to become a field agent, as well as allow them to study her.

Now, Aria has to deal with working for a secret organization, coworkers, strange magical events and creatures that appear and occur, and as it turns out, an agent from a rival company.

After months of silence, Coxa, or as he's known to ponies, 'Rustic Rumor,' has finally heard word. Chrysalis has fallen and Thorax has become the new king. Plotting to overthrow Thorax from within his hive, Coxa meets a young changeling named Ocellus.

Chapters (2)

A few years after the Battle for Equestria and the subsequent unification of nations, borders between lands become a mere formality and creatures begin to live outside of their species' primary territories. Two such ponies living in the Changeling Hive fall in love, but unfortunately for them, a few bigoted creatures decided to live there too. Their paths cross one day and, for a moment, it looks like hatred will take victory.
Little did the bullies know that changelings not only disapprove of hatred, but are in fact preparing to spread the message of love to the rest of the world.

Set after The Ending of the End but well before The Last Problem.

The Confederation of Changeling Hives was always a house of cards, reinforced with steel yes, but made of cards. Queen Chrysalis Vesali always knew that any compromise with the other queens would be like that, which is why she had to prove herself to all her subjects and peers. And what better way to do that than to invade their ancient enemy of Equestria, and secure a supply of love to feed the changeling race for millennia.

In the standard Equestria at War timeline, this ended unfortunately, with such a defeat costing thousands of changeling lives and destabilising the hives for several years. Thankfully(?) in that timeline, Chrysalis returned safe and sound - if bitter - to her homeland, and through her leadership, the Confederation held together.

This is not that story.

Months after a disastrous invasion against Equestria, everything is finally beginning to boil over. Chrysalis, Queen Vesali and One Queen of the Confederation, is no longer ‘present’. Her government fell, and to keep the Confederation together the Heer intervened, forming its own regency government. Now, Hivesregent Cimex of Gardis rules Vesalipolis. For reasons no one could guess, he has declared the felling of the royal Vesali line and announced the creation of a presidential republic to eventually take over the reigns of Vesalipolis.

However, many are skeptical, many are angry, many are scared. Factions are forming in opposition to Cimex and his plans: Stallionists led by Gold Muffin seeking a continental revolution are surging in popularity without the Queen’s Authority to intervene; a splinter group of militarists following former Hivesmarschall Synovial Vesali are actively opposing any moves away from the stability of the millennia-old changeling autocracy; and the Queen’s Guard remains - albeit under siege - in the heart of the city, standing in defiance of Cimex’s republic.

As tensions mount, the city’s coke stores are being emptied, and the Lunsasöng (winter) refuses to leave, Pharynx Amartus is left feeling betrayed by the inaction of his superiors. For him, it is finally time to stop sitting around, and start solving problems - even if the solutions require smokeless powder.

Rewritten after a shameful release by me, this story has now been certified (by me) safe to read.

Explanation of tags:

Age warnings: This story is going to feature death and violence, there’s not much more for me to say. I don’t expect too much in the way of in-depth descriptions, but some elements of gore may end up, I can’t say.

Adventure: This one is obvious, it’s going to be an adventure story. Although maybe Thriller works more? I haven’t decided.

Alternate Universe/Crossover/Science Fiction: This story is set in Smoky Skies, my EaW alt-hist (already an alternate universe) which is also a “crossover” (utilising sci-fi technology from) with Europa 1920+. I don’t expect too much of it, since this is set only just as that technology is becoming available, but I’ll include the tag anyway.

The worldbuilding is based on Equestria at War. Supplementary changeling worldbuilding comes from Steel and Chitin, a project by me and another person to flesh out the EaW changelings. This takes place in my alternate timeline, Smoky Skies, which asks the question no one has asked before: what if the Cutie Re-Mark, but with a touch* of Rozalskian technology.

Hero and Melody were just playing with their little nymphs, trying to enjoy a day inside, but they're distracted by the sounds of their friends having a very loud argument outside. Hero would rather chase them off but Melody has a better idea...one that involves teaching their friends a valuable lesson in disturbing the peace that might also get them to apologize.

Co-Written by MlpHero (go check out his awesome stories!)

Idea for this story is heavily based on A Moment With Brawny by Dr. Wolf, Brawny Buck, and others

Chapters (1)

The Fang Gang; a group of veterans and ex-outlaws. The Change Gang; a group of spies turned kidnappers turned reforms.

These two gangs are ordered by Pharynx and Thorax to infiltrate and make Chrysalis’ new hive reform. But on this journey, they discover that they’re more than strangers, but new friends.

This story is a crossover between Blue Fang, by me, and Meet the Change Gang, by the talented BezierBallad.

Chapters (3)

Pharynx, accompanying his brother Thorax on a diplomatic visit to the Crystal Empire, ends up running into Sunburst while walking around the halls of the castle. Finding out that, despite his meek demeanor, Sunburst is actually quite knowledgeable about multiple subjects Pharynx finds interesting. Pharynx eventually starting to enjoy the company of the pony to his own confusion.

Sunburst, after having finished what he needed to do for the day, spots an unfamiliar (to him) changeling by the name of Pharynx eyeing up some of the more interesting decorative weapons. Offering some interesting info about them to the... much more intimidating up close changeling. Though Pharynx doesn't seem like to mean of an individual after a bit. Has some interesting stories to boot in Sunbursts eyes.

Starting out as a possible friendship, evolving into a closer relationship. A bit of confusion, and realizations. Lets find out how these two get along shall we?

So then, This is a little bit of a hobbyist fic. I normally draw so this is more or less a first foray into writing for me. So its gonna be weird, probably a bit clumsily written at times while I get my feet under me. But. We're gonna be having some fun with awkwardness, confusion and so on with a gruff bug and nerdy little unicorn. Lets go.

I am not sure when specifically this will be updated with more chapters. But I do plan on writing more chapters to this.

Prince Sandbar of the United Kingdoms of Equus has passed a new decree, stating the children of the villains on the Hidden Isle will be given a chance to live among the citizens of Equus. They start with four, the children of The Storm King, Nyxmare Moon, Queen Chrysalis, and the Grýpas Talons. Tempest Shadow, daughter of the Storm King, is determined to follow in her father's footsteps after he orders her to steal the crown of Rising Dawn. Tempest recruits the other children, her fellow gang members, to help her. The only way is to get Sandbar to invite one of them to his coronation. But when a spell goes wrong, it's not either of the girls Sandbar ends up inviting. Can they work with this mistake? Or will they fail? Or worse...will they actually end up wanting to live in Equus?

A/N: Yes, I drew the cover art. I was having some problems uploading it due to file size, so it was taking a while. But it's up! And I am aware it's not the best, so please no negative comments about it. Oh, and Sandbar being held by Gallus is an artistic choice (and because I couldn't fit him between Tempest and Pharynx) and is not relevant to the plot of this story. Or is it? Read to find out!
