Life in Equestria was suddenly changed when Celestia returned to the throne, demanding it back. The world found itself with the Eternal Sun, scorching the land for years to come. Though with every tribulation life will adapt. Starlight Glimmer has adapted to her new environment, despite being Celestia's number one target. She finds herself on the run, at all times.

She never knows when one of the Elements of Harmony would be after her skin. Normally a visit from her friends would be much appreciated. Though not after Celestia twisted robotics into their biological shells. Now, they serve her, forced or willing. No pony knows.

Though not all of the Elements remain. Twilight Sparkle, Luna, and Cadence all disappeared without a trace when Celestia overtook Canterlot. Starlight remains of their old friend group and she still searches for them, and a method to free the rest of her friends. Her search is cut short when an old friend comes to her in a foreign vehicle.

Sunset shimmer appears before Starlight and she is keenly aware of the situation.

Ponyville is in a frenzy when a series of ruins are discovered in the Everfree Forest. But things are never as they seem in the forest, as somethings are best left forgotten. But when one of those things are awakened, usually it is a rude one. As this object is being awakened, fleeing soldiers forced to leave their home enters a new one, with major complications. Equestria in response attempts to cope with this sudden problem, on the brink of collapse as it is already under a diplomatic crisis.

Daybreaker, the Solar Empress of the Solar Empire of Equestria, had finally defeated the resistance that had vowed against her and had conquered their home. Yet she wants more land, more power, and more ponies under her rule. Fortunately for her, a major discovery might just grant that. As the two Equestrias clash, one question is uncertain:

Which side would win?

This story is going to be massive, involving many characters, villains, factions, and contains many tags. Many warnings will be toned down as much as possible for Teen. Humans are included in this story, although the tag will appear misplaced for this story. Finally, please take into consideration that this is my first 'true' story, what I mean is that it is my story where I am actually trying to write a decent story, and not like my other cringy stories. Feedback is highly recommended.

This story is a sequel to Sunrise and sunset

Daybreaker has just won the civil war but she was not the only one fighting it. She had many commanders leading her forces in the field, one of them is Field Marshall Midwinter, commander of Army Group 1.

Now that the war is over, Daybreaker isn't the only one thinking about the future. Midwinter has had a long time to think, both about her own past and the choices that let her to where she is now. Now she is finally ready to show the world her conclusion.

The story takes place in the Equestria at War universe, but you don't need to play the mod to understand this story. (it is really fun tho)

A sequel to Sunrise and Sunset, but it isn't necessary to read that story to understand this one.

More specifically, being the focus of a fight between the evil royal sisters.

-Rarity has a horrible accident that forces her body to undergo an alteration... into a part Dragon creature.

-The CMC are graduating grade school and ready to move on to middle school, but don't know if they can bear to be separated.
