After helping to stop the Storm King, Tempest Shadow decides to return home under the suggestion of Princess Twilight Sparkle. She returns home to try and make amends with her family and friends, but years of contempt and anger will block her from a flawless transition.

With a little faith, and a little support from an unlikely friend, Tempest will try her best to make up for the lost time.

The Flower Trio is quite done with it. They're tired of all the trouble befalling Ponyville. But when they send their strongly-worded letter to the Ponyville Express, they soon find they've unleashed a monster.

Berry Punch has had a hard time living with herself, and honestly has no idea how long that has been a part of her life. Not even the bottom of a bottle has the answers she needs anymore.

It's just another night, and there was always the next day to look forward to.

After a tiring day at work, Carrot Top trudges home. As usual, her cross-eyed roommate, Derpy Hooves, has emptied the fridge. Nothing out of the ordinary.

However, when Derpy comes down with a case of incessant itching and what's colloquially known as "the herp walk," Carrot's day is about to become... not so ordinary.

In the wake of a distressing experience, Spike has been helping out around Ponyville. He doesn't have to, but he feels he needs to. And while not every day has gone great, most have. Already he's feeling better about… what happened.

The last pony on the schedule, Berry Punch, isn't someone he knows much beyond being the town's premier fruit drinks vendor. He certainly isn't quite prepared for her… particular brand of eccentricity.

A different tack may be needed to make this productive.

If you look around the multiverse, you'll find several entities who would be happy to see them, at least initially. Those sapients would be operating on dreams of free wishes and gold -- or, for the more sensible, shoe repair. But Equestria knows nothing of those tales. And so all Rainbow knows is that it's a very important day, one where she absolutely must have privacy, and that means she needs to get these miniature green-jacketed lunatics out of her life.
